CHAPTER - 42

Previously,

"Hello! It's been a long time, is it?" It was him, the threatcaller.

She was taken aback for awhile. She couldn't move, she was scared. She was scared at the fact on how she'll make excuse about the call to  her friends, not scared at him.

"Hello? You there? Are you scared? *Starts to laugh* You seem to be doing be pretty well which me makes me feel sick-"

She didn't want to hear crap from him and hung up the call. She sighed.

"Who was on the phone?"

"Uhh..j-just a scam. Nothing else."

"You seemed pretty serious for it to be a scam."

"N-no, it's nothing."

"What were you about to tell us though?" Ji Ae asked.

"Oh, yeah. I am confused about this. You guys said you were friends with Ha Sang and the group, since a long time. If you knew them, then why did you act like you didn't like him when I twisted my ankle and told me to ignore him when I was arguing? Bo Young remembered how Ji Ae made sneaky comments directing at him, whenever they saw him and when Yu Ah told to stop wasting her energy when Bo Young was arguing.

"Oh that! We were just playing with him, he didn't care about it too. But I was a little bit angry on him. I didn't mean the comments though. You do know I take acting lessons, don't you?" Ji Ae explained.

"That's way too good for just 'playing'." Bo Young said.

Yu Ah looked at Bo Young silently.

"W-why? Is anything wrong?"

"No, it's nothing."

"You guys should get going, it's getting so late." Bo Young was worried.

"Don't worry, we have already notified our drivers and parents. They'll be here soon." Yu Ah gave a reassuring smile.

"That's a relief."

"You act like a mother." Ji Ae commented with a smile.

"That's right." Yu Ah added.

"Out of the blue? Do I act like one?"

"You heard me, didn't you?" Ji Ae said.

Bo Young smiled and said "Thanks."

"Huh?" Yu Ah and Ji Ae were confused.

"Why?" Now Bo Young was confused.

"Most of the time, when people hear this comment, they don't like it, but you look happy." Yu Ah was amused.

"I am. After all, it's equal to hearing 'you are like your mother'. It's my mother, so, it's not a bad thing. Isn't it a good thing?"

"You must love your mother so much." Ji Ae said, with slight sadness adding to her tone.

"Of course, I love her to death." She smiled.

A few minutes later, Yu Ah and Ji Ae left. Bo Young made sure those two got inside the car and even looked at their cars until it faded at the end of the road.

"Hey, pretty flowers. Wish me luck, for doing good in the maths exam. I might do good. But the guy I'm tutoring, is kinda difficult. Just wish for him though." Bo Young was talking to the flowers, standing in front of the flowers. She was not crazy, definitely. As they say, flowers grow well and healthy if you talk and compliment them. That's what she did.

"Are you talking about Ha Sang?" A voice interrupted her. And of course, she jerked being scared.

"Gosh, that scared me." She muttered as she turned to look at the person.

"Hi, did I disturb you?" Eun Hyuk waved.

"Oh, no. When did you come here?"

"Just few seconds before I asked you the question."

"Oh."

"And was it Ha Sang you were talking about?"

"Of course, who else would it be."

He chuckled.

"And did you get back home safe that day?"

"You care to ask that now?" He asked playfully.

"I'm sorry, I didn't see you at school yesterday and I don't have your number either." She apologised.

"It's fine. I was just kidding. I did get get home soon and safe." He laughed.

"Fine."

"I think it's time we exchange our numbers."

"Oh, right. Gimme your phone." She asked. He handed her his phone. She immediately saved her number and gave it back to him.

"Then, I'll leave now. Good luck on the exam. Bye." She left the garden.

            ;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;

The students handed their papers after completing their exam. The students left a relieved sigh after handing it over.

"Good job guys! Prepare for the next exam with the same spirit too!" Soo Hee left the class.

"*sighs* Thanks to you, I have confidence that I will get good grades, Bo Young." Ji Ae looked at Bo Young with a happy face.

Bo Young smiled back. She then turned to look at Ha Sang, worried if he had done well. But, he was nowhere.

She looked around, he was still not there.

"Who are you searching for?" Ji Ae asked noticing Bo Young's action.

"Ha Sang." She replied.

"Him? For what?"

"Just worried."

"Just..worried?! Wait, *gasps* Bo Young!"

Bo Young jumped at her reaction, being startled.

"God, that startled me. Why?!" Bo Young asked.

"*moves closer to her* Do..you..like him?" Ji Ae asked.

"Seriously, Ji Ae?" She deadpanned.

"You just said that you were worried."

"I meant I was worried about how he did the exam." She chuckled unbelievably at Ji Ae.

"Oh, I guess I was just overthinking." Ji Ae let out an awkward giggle. Bo Young laughed at her.

;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;

Bo Young was waiting today too for Ha Sang to come. It was time the tutoring has started but he still didn't arrive.

"Ugh, what is this guy doing?" She looked around tensed.

There was no sign of him. She took her phone out to text him.

"Hey, where are you? Hurry up!"

It's been 5 minutes since she sent the message. There was no reply.

"Ugh! Where the hell is that bastard?! So annoying!" She yelled at the empty room. Thank god, the door was closed and the glass walls were sound proof.

"I'm here." He entered.

She had an annoying expression in her face and turned to look at him.

"Why?" He looked confused.

"Are you pretending to not know or you just don't know?"

"Know what?"

"Oh wow, just great." She was pissed off.

"What is it?"

"Why. The. Hell. Are. You. Late. Today. Too?!" She raised her voice at the end.

"I'm late?"

This added fuel to the fire. By now, she was clenching her fists.

"I really think that you should have a print of my knuckles in your face, don't you?" She gritted her teeth.

At this sentence, he just stood there, looking at her, with his eyes widened and his mouth slightly open because he was THAT shocked.

"Hah, now you finally realise?" She asked folding her hands.

He was silent.

"Hey, what are you thinking about? Are you thinking of an excuse again? And don't tell me you went to buy chocolate milk again, I'm not taking it." She said and walked towards him. He was still silent.

"Are you listening or not?" She snapped her fingers at him.

"Oh? Y-Yeah."

"Then, why were you late?"

"Just this once." He whined. How old was he? 5?

"This once? Yesterday too! If I let this go, you will be late all the time."

"I won't be late tomorrow, I promise." He said as he walked towards his seat.

"I'm not done talking." She followed him.  The scene looked like a small crow tit following an eagle.

"I had to meet Ms.Han."

"Oh, you should've told me that in the first place." They both took their seats.

The next exam was English, and it was final.

"Next, it's English, right?" Ha Sang asked.

"Yeah."

"Then, let's get into it." He said.

"Before we start I have a question."

"What is it?" He was curious, because, it was her who was asking the question this time. Boy got his expectations high.

"How did you do today's exam?" She was expecting so much that she put her hands together, praying.

"Oh, that." There was disappointment in his voice. Her heart stopped at this.

"Why? What is it?" She asked.

"I did it better than the exams I have done before. I usually get 60 above(for 100), but this time, I expect 80 and above."

Her face lit up with happiness.

"Hey! That's so AMAZING!" She was so happy.

"I didn't know you would be this happy." He smiled.

But, there was an interruption.

"Hello, guys!" A bright voice along with a few footsteps entered the study lounge.

"What? What are you guys doing here?" Ha Sang asked looking at the group. The group consisted of, Ji Ae, Yu Ah, Seong Seop, Yeong Hyun, and Yeon Joon. Yes, Yeon Joon did go to school that day.

"Definitely to learn." Yu Ah answered.

"But, why here?" Bo Young asked.

"Well, why don't we sit along with you guys and talk about it?" Yeong Hyun said. They all dragged chairs from the other table, and clustered around the two's table.

Ji Ae and Yu Ah sat on the beside of Bo Young. Ji Ae was sitting to the right of Bo Young, which made it easier for Yeong Hyun to sit near her. Seong Seop and Yeon Joon sat on the right and left side of Ha Sang.

"Ok, so why did you all come here to learn?" Bo Young asked.

"I was staring at the book without knowing anything and Ms.Han found out that I was struggling, so she sent me here."

"Then what about you all?" Ha Sang asked.

"Oh, they-?" Ji Ae was cut off.

"We all asked Ms.Han and our home room teachers too. They told that we could join you guys."

"Oh..okay then."

"Then, should we start?" Bo Young asked.

"Hell yeah!" Seong Seop was excited.

They started with the lesson.

Many many many moments later.

"That is why, this sentence is passive voice." Bo Young explained.

"I totally get it now!" Yu Ah added, the others nodded in agreement.

"No teacher would explain it any better than you, Bo Young." Seong Seop added.

"Respect." Yeong Hyun saluted.

"I should have joined you both earlier." Yeon Joon added.

"I know right. I would've gotten even more better grades. I envy you, Ha Sang." Yu Ah said.

Ha Sang had a proud smile attached to his face.

"I know right." Yeon Joon added.

"You guys, are you kidding me right now?" A voice interrupted them.
