Chapter 22

Naruto was sitting alone in a hotel room right now. He had a meeting with the white-haired Jiraiya a while ago if you ask why he was in a hotel. Jiraiya asked him for help finding Tsunade Senju.

An explosion sounded in one of the nearby rooms while Naruto was sitting on the bed.

After getting out of bed, he approached the explosion and saw two people in a black cloak with a few red clouds on it.

"So you're the ones watching us. Kisame Hoshigaki, Kirigakure's S-rank missing-nin. Next to him should be Konohagakure's S-rank missing-nin Itachi Uchiha. I hope you enjoyed my little surprise." Naruto said with a grin.

"Interesting. So you know who we are. So how did you know we were after you?" Itachi asked.

"I don't believe there is a woman in the world who would take care of that old man. Especially a beautiful woman like her. I also noticed the genjutsu you applied to the woman. In addition to these, I can easily feel the chakra of the fish next to you." Naruto said.

Kisame said as he walked towards Naruto, picking up the bandage-wrapped sword hanging from his back, "You little brat! How dare you talk to me like that."

"Take the boy, let's go now. Sannin Jiraiya most likely heard about the explosion." Itachi said.

Kisame said while nodded, "Little brat, surrender yourself so that you'll get hurt-"

But before he could even finish speaking, an explosion occurred where he had put his foot down.

"Oh! I forgot to say! There are hidden traps in many places right now. Please be very careful." Naruto said with a grin as he looked at Kisame's damaged cloak.

Then, Naruto clasped his hands together and said, "Explosion." Immediately after, a huge explosion occurred in the place where Kisame and Itachi were.

Naruto took advantage of the explosion and started to turn around and run away, thinking, "I'm starting to understand the phrase art is an explosion."

But before Naruto could get far, the two behind him caught up.

Sannin Jiraiya appeared in front of Naruto just as Kisame was about to attack with his sword.

"Damn Naruto! Did you need to blow up the whole floor!" Jiraiya said.

Itachi turned around and said, "So you've come, little brother."

Opposite him was Sasuke, who was glaring at him angrily.

Sasuke looked at him with an angry expression on his face and said, "I'm going to kill you! For all you've done!"

He then started running towards Itachi, using Chidori in his hand.

Itachi caught the hand coming towards himself. Then he punched Sasuke in the stomach and threw him against the wall.

Sasuke was about to stand up and strike again when Itachi was already near him. Itachi started beating him mercilessly. Unfortunately, Sasuke was beaten without any reaction.

Itachi then grabbed Sasuke, who was lying on the ground, by the neck and lifted him.

Sasuke noticed a pair of Mangekyou Sharingan staring at him when opened his eyes. Soon after, he began to constantly see in his mind the scene in which he saw his parents die.

"You are so cruel, Itachi. You are using Tsukuyomi against your brother." Kisame said with a grin.

Jiraiya placed his hands on the ground after making hand seals. Then, all of a sudden, the whole corridor started to look like the inside of a living thing.

"We're running away to Kisame." Itachi said before he started running.

Realizing that they couldn't get out of here normally after the two of them ran for a while, Itachi burned the wall using Amaterasu, and then the two of them escaped through the hole.

"Black flames. I have to seal them or they won't disappear before they burn all over the place." Jiraiya thought. He then took out a scroll and sealed the black flames.

Gai appeared, wearing green spandex with an alarmed expression after he finished sealing.

"What happened? Did they run away?" Gai asked as he walked towards Sasuke to see his condition.

"Sigh* Yes, they escaped. But before Itachi escaped, he used Tsukuyomi on Sasuke. That's why he's not very well off." Jiraiya said.

Gai took Sasuke on his back and set off for Konoha after the two of them studied Sasuke's situation for a while.

At this time, Naruto and Jiraiya were walking towards the next town.

"Naruto, do you want me to teach you a legendary technique?" Jiraiya asked with a smile.
