Chapter 88

Camomile Island, located 70 miles the North of Seafoam Islands, was one of the biggest Islands in the Kanto Region.

It was not just famous for its grassy plains, but also for Porta Vista, a region, which was on the southern side of the Island, divided into two Towns, Acapulco, and Hutber Port.

Porta Vista was a world-famous tourist destination and one of the favorite holiday spots for nearly everyone living in Kanto. And the rest of the Camomile Island, including its grassy plains, was actually a Pokemon Reserve, jointly regulated by the Indigo and Silver Councils.

After a 10 hour-long journey from Cinnabar Island, Aizen and the girls arrived on Camomile Island. They were not here to visit the Towns of Acapulco or the Hutber Port but wanted to check out the new Theme Park, Pokemon Land, that had started operations a few months back. And then all the girls wanted to explore the grassy plains that the Island was famous for.

Both Misty and Leaf had been to the two towns before with their families, and they had no interest in them right now.

There were lots of Pokemon that could be found on the Island, and the grassy plains were said be very beautiful, and so, this time, they were looking forward to checking out the rest of the Island than enjoying their time at the beach.

"The next theme park show that we can watch is in three days. Everything is booked for the next two days." Aizen informed them after he checked out the details at the Pokémon Center in Hutber Port. "I have bought our tickets."

"So we are going to explore the Island first?!" Leaf enthusiastically asked.

"Yes." He chuckled and nodded to her.

None of them was disappointed that they could not visit the Theme Park today, after all, they were more interested in exploring the place and seeing if they can find any Pokemon to their liking.

The girls had been curious why Aizen decided to go to the Fuchsia City instead of the Saffron City, and when he informed them that the Safari Zone near the Fuchsia City was now open and that he wanted to find some Pokemon for himself there, they too brimmed up in excitement. And they were here too to see if they could find anything to their liking in the Camomile Reserve.

"You know, Camomile Island is quite famous for Grass-Type Pokemon." Misty meaningfully said, and Leaf, who was already aware of it, brightly smiled and nodded her head.

"I know!" She skipped ahead together with Anira as they left the Hutber Port for the Mossgreen Village, which was right next to the grassy plains.

"By the way, what Pokemon do you feel that you need on your Team?" Misty curiously asked Aizen as they walked down the route to the village.

Her question piqued the interest of Leaf and Anira, who wanted to hear his answer as well.

"If I told you, it would not stay a surprise." He chuckled. "But I can tell you what I want to find here and in the Safari Zone."

"What?" The orange-haired girl impatiently asked.

"I don't have a Grass-Type on my Team yet." He pointed out. "So, I looking for one. And I want a Rhyhorn as well."

"Rhyhorn?"

"Which Grass-Type?!"

Both Misty and Leaf curiously and excitedly asked.

"Yup. I need a Rhyperior on my Team before I challenge the Indigo League." He nodded his head to Misty and then smiled at Leaf. "I am not going to be too picky, but preferably an Oddish or a Gloom for a future Vileplume, or a Bulbasaur."

"Not Tangela, Exeggutor, Parasect, and Victreebel?" The hazel-eyed girl frowned.

"Like I said, I won't be too picky. But definitely not a Tangela or a Parasect. I am not fond of the former, and Parasect would not be too useful to me in the League." He shrugged and informed her.

"So you are not fond of Tangela and Tangrowth?" Misty grinned at him. "Is there a story behind it?"

Her words made both Leaf and Anira giggle, and the Orayen Prince smiled at them.

"Not really. I am just not fond of them. That doesn't mean that I dislike them." He shrugged again.

"Do you need a Pokemon too?" Leaf curiously looked at Sabrina, who was silently walking by their side.

"No." The pink-eyed girl shook her head.

After they had travelled a considerable distance away from the town, both Leaf and Aizen called out their Nidoran.

Leaf also called out Charmander to walk by her side and Pichu to play with the two Nidoran.

"You should let out Pidgeot as well," Anira suggested. "There are lots of Caterpie on this Island, and its line loves preying on them."

"Okay!" Leaf immediately agreed to her suggestion and sent out Pidgeot to take a flight.

Everyone smiled as she once again wrapped her arms around the Incubator that held Swablu's Egg inside it, looking at it lovingly.

The Swablu was due in the next five to seven days, and Leaf was ardently waiting for the Egg to hatch.

Their group reached the Mossgreen Village right before noon-time, and they came across something very interesting.

Just outside the village was a small shop, where a Persian was soundly sleeping, and a young lady with green hair and red eyes, wearing a white Tang shirt and pink pants was busy grooming a couple of Paras.

The signboard on the shop read 'Miracle Potion', and their group could not contain their curiosity and approached it.

"Welcome to the Miracle Potion!" The girl immediately stood up when she saw them approach and her curious eyes scanned them before landing on Aizen, who made her cheeks warm up in a blush.

"Good Morning!" He smiled at her and then lowered his eyes to look at the list of Potions that were sold here. "Can you tell us something about your Potions?"

"Of course!" She happily nodded her head and then started telling them about the history of this shop as well as the medicinal herbs they grow and use for their Potions.

It turned out that she was an orphan, and lived with her Grandmother, who was an expert in Medicinal Herbs. The shop was opened by her Grandmother, Lacy, and all the Potions sold here were her secret recipes.

"So you want to follow in the footsteps of your Grandmother and create a special potion?" Misty smiled at her enthusiasm and tried her best to not look at the Bug Pokemon that the girl was grooming.

"Yes!" The green-haired girl, whose name was Cassandra, nodded her head. "I plan on creating a Potion that can not only heal the Pokemon but also help in their future growth, while at the same time, giving them a temporary strength and speed boost."

"Interesting dream." Aizen smiled at her words. "Can you get us two of each potions that you sell here?"

His words excited her and she ran into the back of her shop after nodding to him.

The white cat that was sleeping soundly purred under the ministrations of Anira, who gently scratched the back of its ears.

"Persians are so pretty!" Leaf sighed when she looked at the evolution of Meowth. She really liked the red gem embedded in its heads, and this Pokemon was quite graceful as well.

"Yes." Anira nodded her head. "They are pretty!"

Cassandra returned with their order and then handed him the box that contained the Potions he had asked for.

"Thank you for your patronage!" She happily said when he paid her.

"You're welcome." He smiled and then looked at the map of the grassy plains. "Can you tell us where we might find a Rhyhorn at this time of the day?"

"They usually roam through the plains during the hottest hours of the day," Cassandra informed them and then pointed at the map. "You should be able to come across one in the central plains. That's where they are usually found."

"Thanks for the help!" He nodded to her and then led the girls inside the Village to get something to eat before heading towards the plains.

There were lots of Paras around the area, and even after they exited the Village, they found them all over the place for the next two miles.

Leaf teased Misty now and then, showing some interest in catching a Paras, which the orange-haired girl begged her to not catch.

It was quite fun and all until they came across a wild Ponyta, who was eating some berries off a tree, and Leaf could not contain her excitement.

"Go for it." Aizen chuckled and nodded at her after the hazel-eyed girl looked at him with puppy eyes.

She was asking if he wanted it, and though he did want one for himself, he decided to let her have this one.

"Thanks!" She brightly smiled and then walked up to the Ponyta, intending to add it to her team.
