Scarecrow Part-One

Two weeks have gone by since his debacle at Wayne enterprises and in those two weeks Drystan had got his life in order.

He already had things laid out in a stable and planned manner before, but even though he had things planned out doesn't mean that things always go according to the plan, as he learned recently.

He decided to focus on his actual life and leave most assassin jobs to his clones.

He would still take some himself regularly, its just that he would only take ones he found interesting outside of his normal once a week job to keep his skills fresh.

But he found that this way was safer as he could always just teleport to his one of his clones location, more prepared for the situation if someone traps, defeats, or escapes from his clone to finish the job.

He has been focusing on being a teacher most of the time while on his free time he tried to train his skillset to get more used to his skills.

He want to use them more instinctively than he is now as he would currently have trouble beating some of the worlds premier martial artists without relying on his superpowers.

He wasn't afraid of them though, because anyone without powers isn't much of a threat to him when he goes all out, its just that its frustrating to not be able to use his skills to there fullest potential.

Besides that Barbara was willing to talk to him again.

After a couple days a grieving, Barbara started to act normally and they soon started acting like friends again.

She wasn't willing to talk to him about her extracurricular activities yet but she was getting there.

She probably would have struggled longer if he hadn't told her about his encounter with her friends and how he defeated the Huntress and Lady Blackhawk.

She was furious that her friends broke into his home and attacked him.

Dinah, Helena, and Zinda even individually called him and reluctantly told him that they were sorry because Barbara kept pressuring them to.

And finally he found out that his student Timothy Drake was Robin.

He would have been an idiot if he couldn't tell when he showed up to class a few days after their encounter with a black eye and a neck brace on.

It may have been dark when he fought with Robin but he could still tell that they had the same bone structure and build, adding the injuries and Mr. Drakes close relationship with Stephanie Brown, it became obvious.

Currently Drystan was teaching a class on the primary differences between computer sciences and information technology majors.

Some of his students picked to do both, and some of them might suit the other class more or want jobs that are more inclined to the other class.

The Computer science jobs include software developer, web developer, software engineer, and data scientist.

Information technology jobs include computer systems analyst, information assurance specialist, and network architect. IT professionals also work as data analysts, computer support specialists, and data scientists.

The two interconnect a lot but are still very different jobs on application so he wanted to make sure that they knew what they wanted to do.

After giving an hour long lecture on the differences and focuses of both subjects Drystan ended class and was walking back to his office to prepare for his next class when he suddenly received a very alarming memory.

His clone that had been watching Jonathan Crane had sent him memories of Mr. Crane leaving his house in full Scarecrow attire and heading towards the school.

Fortunately, Drystan had plenty of time to make a plan for how he would deal with the Scarecrow as he had been planning for it since he learned of his identity.

The only issue is that he is heading to the school, which made Drystan nervous as he didn't want any students to get hurt.

He originally planned to let the heroes deal with it, but he couldn't find a good way to give them the information within the hour before Johnathan got to the school without drawing suspicion to himself.

If it was night it would be as simple as a Bat Signal with a Note.

But it was currently noon so that wouldn't work.

Every other way that he thought of he would be a prime suspect so he decided to try to just deal with it with who and what was at the school.

From what he knew, the fear toxin was still in development so at the very least he wouldn't need to deal with the Scarecrow at his fullest as he still is an amateur for the most part.

He calmed down and sat with Barbara in his office for the rest of the hour mentally preparing himself for one of the worlds most Fear inducing villains.

Then the lights went out.

It was currently mid-day so shutting the lights off didn't really impair their vision, it just had a psychological factor.

Drystan knew that Scarecrow was here and wanted to get revenge on the school for firing him, but the rest of the school didn't.

So most of the classes continued while a few that relied on technology just sat there and waited for the backup generator to kick up.

When it did it brought Dristan's biggest worry with it.

When the generator was turned on the AC also turned back on.

And with it came a green gas that would bring hell to all those that inhaled it.

Scarecrow had released his experimental fear gas on the students, and no one here could save them from its effects.
