Take my hand & never let go

I sat down after work and saw that Benji (Carson) and his siblings Aims (Janet), Brody (Michael) came to go to talk about next year's storm season. Princess was scolding Gunn for ill-treating me. She saw that these guys were calling me mom. We sat down and discussed the games we will play and what discoveries we wanted to share with the rest of the family. We were deciding the menu when she walked up to us and asked politely, "Why do you call my mommy mom?"

Aims explained, "When our mommy and daddy died we ran away because the social worker was going to separate us. We were caught and were at the police station when mom arrived to complain about a teacher who was doing bad things to kids. She heard us and asked her head of security at the time to adopt us. In the end his brother who was also working in the estate adopted us. We moved to that guesthouse you see from the window. She would take care of us and we were able to get past the pain of losing our parents."

Diana jumped up and down like she was on the trampoline, "Mommy is a hero" she sang gleefully. I hugged her to calm her down.

Brody snatched it and had a look. His face turned eighty shades darker. He gave me the file and called Katsumoto from the FBI. He stormed out the door. I was about to open the file when Gunn snatched it and I had to rip it out of his hands. I sat and read the contents. Carrie escaped from the Jane Myers Institute for the Criminal insane. She slipped out five days ago and they just realized that. Gunn asked Benji who Carrie was and he stormed off. He made the mistake of shout the question and Cole heard it. He screamed so loud that I thought the house would collapse. GG came running and Hattie followed after. Adam came running thinking that someone was shot. He saw me safe and he stomped over to shake Cole violently. I jumped out of my chair and gave him the file. His face turned beet red and was about to swear and so I picked up Diana. He froze and walked out and I heard muffled words. I gave Diana to Gunn and walk to find Adam. I saw Adam and he cupped my face and kissed me. I was shocked that he did that. I blushed furiously and asked if he would be careful. Carrie is a serial arsonist that almost killed me twice. Adam kissed me again. He promised me that he will catch her as soon as possible. He hugged me lovingly and kissed my hair. His walkie-talkie crackled to life and he left. I came back to see Gunn was shouting at the lawyer. I had filed for divorce when I caught Gunn red-handed cheating. He refused to accept that he did. He was shown a video and he became still. He signed the divorce papers and left.

I hugged Diana as she cried that Gunn had hurt us. I sat down and watched as my world collapsed. I had him sign a prenup so he left with the clothes on his back. Hattie was panicking and I needed to calm her down. GG was calling everyone and they came pouring into the war council. They sat to discuss tactics to counter what Carrie would do.
