Unwelcome back

I came home to my kids and Angie wasn't far behind. She and Xander tried to get in. Xander was allowed but Angie wasn't. He politely inquired why. He was shown what had happened so he furiously told her to leave. She went back to her car without making a scene. Dash and the others gave him hugs out of respect but mine was out of love. My security took their places as Benji arrived with papers. He was formally introduced and they shook hands. I can tell that they didn't get along. Regardless I made it clear that they can't hurt each other without hurting me. This softened Benji and aroused Xander's curiousity.

Jasmine arrived with Aloe Vera juice and a list of renewal contracts. Xander sat in one corner as I went through the documents. When I was satisfied with them I signed. Jasmine wanted to know why I was doing this silly deals with nameless ones. I said that innocent people are being exploited day and night. Some of these contracts keep them safe. Others get to keep a roof over their heads. Declan wrinkled his nose as he recalled a widower who was being mentally and sexually harassed. She was a shell of a person when I discovered her. She is doing better now. Jasmine scampered off wherever and Declan leaned forward. I quickly replied that he can have the weekend off but I need him on Monday morning at eight am sharp. He thanked me as he ran to see his wife.

Phillip arrived with roses and he also gave me the catalog for Christie's and other auction houses. I flipped through the pages when Diana ran to give me a hug. "Mama. I thought I was going to be an orphan again. Mama was in Air Force One again." I kissed her forehead and carrased her hair. She saw the catalog and wondered what I was buying. When she saw them she said we could go to a jewelry store to get something better. I told her that these are timeless pieces that are originals. GG loves to have these in her collection.

GG arrived at that moment and she gave me a hug. Diana latched on to her and she let her go when she got a call from one her friends. GG saw the catalog and skimmed through the ones I had picked. She applauded my choice and asked me which one I wanted the most. I said that I like the sapphire ring. GG admired it as Jasmine walked. She was told by a stern faced GG to get the items on the list but especially the sapphire ring. Jasmine saluted her before she walked out.

I showed her my long lost brother and I was told to go outside. I went to my office and worked on figuring out how to fix the Sembi's bike. Sasha made it clear that she wants a bike too. I was thinking an Indian but she is more interested in the Hayabusa. GG reminded me that it was time for dinner. Xander was surprised that his room has been repurposed. He said that a lot had changed since he left. GG made him promise that he will check up on the family.

Bad timing came after dinner MIA called us to threaten us. While she and I talked GG briefed Xander that this was a person who was a direct threat to the family. Xander plucked the phone and spoke to her. After some time he hung up. gG finally told him who it was. His face fell. This was someone he had a love and respect for. So he rolled up his sleeve and made a few calls.
