"Hey guys, my name is Blue Ivan, a 22 years old rookie actor and this is my audition for The book of myths and I hope you all enjoy watching this little piece."
Blue looked at Carl and the man nodded at him to begin, the boy sighed and got into the emotional piece that he had practiced.
"I don't know why you did this, all I did was love and cherish you, but you played with my heart,"
Blue paused, his eyes blurry with tears making them twinkle.
"Was it fun? Did it pump your ego? Are you satisfied?.. You are selfish Derek, so selfish…" he sobbed.
"And, it will kill you one day. You need to tear people's hearts apart, hurt their feelings… I hope one day you find that someone for you, but I can't play this game any longer. I can't be the one for you and I deserve better than you." Blue said, with conviction as tears fell down his cheeks.
Carl and Miranda gawked at the younger man after his performance, and he looked awkwardly at them.
"Uh… the camera is still rolling." he pointed out, Carl and Miranda broke out of their daze and Carl cut the video that was still rolling.
"So, how did I do?" Blue asked, curiously. Carl cleared his throat and held back his tears, if he was to speak, tears would immediately rush out.
Miranda walked up to the younger man and placed her hands on his shoulders.
"A star is born." Blue blushed, darkly, and he had no idea how to reply to the lady. He had never been given that type of compliment and it felt so heavy, and he didn't know what to do.
"Shit, come here baby bean."
Carl burst into tears and dived the younger man, Miranda had quick reflexes and so, she got out of the way, swiftly and the boys went tumbling down the floor.
"You're special Blue, you invoke all the right emotions that usually take actors years to get, and gosh, your facial expression… I honestly thought that someone broke your heart. Dare I say, It even looked more real than reality itself."
"Thank you, Carl but can you get off? You're squashing me." Blue huffed out, a bit breathless.
"Oops! Sorry, little bean."
Carl got up and helped Blue off the floor, Miranda shook her head.
Typical Carl, always an airhead…
"Let me go edit your videos, while you can stay and answer some of your comments on social media."
As soon as Blue opened his account, there were lots of notifications, and he had to switch off the notification. After Juno posted his photo, and he opened his official account, he had over fifteen thousand followers in the first few days.
He had been posting pictures of his daily life, when he was in the gym, jogging, playing the piano under Miranda's guidance, and other kinds of stuff.
Day by day, people fell in love with him and followed. He just had to be himself on social media.
Carl left to the computer room to edit the video and Blue settled down and replied to some of his comments.
CuteyPink@ Blue official: hey Blue, I love your style and your natural cuteness. I'll always be your fan and support you.
Blue smiled and sent a message, thanking her for her support and that was pretty much what he did for most of the comments, and the hate comments, he responded respectfully.
I TEARDOWNCELEBS@ Blue official: You're a ripoff and you just fake this whole cute bullshit, dumb twink.
Blue official @ I TEARDOWNCELEBS: please, we only bring positivity in here, and am sorry that you aren't satisfied with me. P. S, I am satisfied with myself and I hope you have a nice day.
There were many other hate comments, some saying that he was trying to look like a particular musician or that he was faking his personality and that was all part of his ploy for popularity.
Most of these netizens should be aware that because everyone is doing a trend or wearing the same style of clothes, it doesn't mean that they are trying to copy someone else, it's a trend and everyone will get in on it.
Some so many people looked like, and they can't do anything about it, but Blue knew there were always going to be haters.
If you focused so much on the bad comments, you can't live your life the way you please.
***********
Drake watched as the younger man tossed and turned in bed. He memorized his body, from head to toe. Those luscious pink lips, the way his lashes fluttered, and his petite frame.
He was like a fairy and if Drake hadn't scented his blood for any type of magic, he would have taken him for the fairy species.
The boy was familiar and at the same time, he wasn't and Drake would have remembered ever meeting someone like Blue if he indeed, had met the boy before.
So, why was his soul so familiar?
Drake was about to get up from the boy's bed, but Blue in an unconscious state pulled him down to him and teased him with a soft kiss.
His lips brushed softly, like the delicate touch of a butterfly and before he could take control of their kiss, the boy fell back on the bed and a whisper left his lips.
"Plouton…"
Drake backed away from the bed, his eyes wide with horror. Who was this boy and what was his connection to him?
"Wakey wakey, sleeping beauty. Rise and shine."
Blue yawned and stretched out, and he wished he could stuff Carl in his pocket or something. He was always smiling every morning and working him.
"I hate you, Carl." Blue groaned, Carl chuckled.
"You wish, you did…"
"Hmm… I hate that you know me so well."
They both laughed.
"Get up, you big oaf… I have something to show."
Blue climbed out of bed, and he allowed Carl to drag him to his room.
Carl's room was something out of a fashion show and it was so catchy and pretty, and he had lots of designer bags and shoes.
"Why did you drag me in here this morning?" Blue asked, amused.
Carl got his laptop from his table and sat down on his bed, with it on his lap. Blue smiled and sat down beside him.
He watched as Carl clicked into the audition site for The book of myths and the list of names and roles was already out.
Blue's eyes widened, and he scanned it from the last name to see where his name was at and to his biggest surprise it was right under the main lead, and he was the second male lead to act as 'Paris' a fox god.
"Look here, that's your name baby bean. This is what I am talking about." Carl said, happily. He looked at the younger and he was numb.
"Blue, are you okay? Too many emotions?"
Blue nodded and bit his lips to hold from crying. Carl chuckled and embraced the boy.
"It's okay, Blue. You can cry and let it out, you've done well." the boy burst into tears and was sobbing his eyes out.
This seemed so good to be true, and he was so happy that he had no words to express himself. It was finally happening, after years of acting in theaters and roadside shows, he is finally realizing his dream.
This is the happiest day of his life and He owed it to Drake. He wished he could see him now to hug him and thank him.
"Yay, our baby bean is acting in his first movie." Carl cheered, happily making Blue laugh. He was so grateful to have such an amazing person like Carl with him.
You know those times, during the heat of the moment when you just think of a particular person but in reality, you don't want to see them… that was the case here.
"Cheer up, little Kitty. Aren't you happy to see me?" Drake teased, smirking.
Blue had freshened up after Carl showed him the results, and he came out to eat at the dining table but instead, he saw Drake in his element, drinking coffee and reading a newspaper. He was gobsmacked and had no ways to say until Drake spoke earlier.
"Uh. Am just shocked to see you that's all, you know…" he gave a fake laugh and sat down in one of the chairs in the dining room and Diego served breakfast.
"Thank you, Diego," he said, politely.
"You're welcome, Mr. Ivan."
Diego headed back to his kitchen.
