Jupiter chuckled. "It looked so funny, the sight of you chasing after the human and the puppy eyes."
Drake rolled his eyes at him. Leave it to Jupiter to always chase after his entertainment. Sometimes, he doubted if this man was the real Jupiter, King of the Roman gods.
Romans gods and the goddesses had a problem with gossiping, they formed groups to gossip about the supernatural world.
"It's none of your business. So, why did you come to see me?"
"I think we should talk about this in a private place," Jupiter said, his tone becoming serious all of a sudden. Drake looked at him pointedly, he nodded, letting out a sigh.
"Blue isn't this store so cute?" Carl gushed over a small boutique, that was built with bricks and concretes. Almost everything here was built that way.
"Hmm… it's lovely." Blue replied. Carl was practically bouncing off the ground, and if not for the presence of Blue, he would have run into every boutique he saw.
The duo had just gone outside to get snacks because they were feeling a bit hungry after the flight.
Blue had been thinking of Drake and what he was up to right now as they headed back to their hotel.
Drake had been the only thing occupying his head, rent-free…
He wondered what Drake thought of him. Was he the only one feeling this way? Was Drake not interested in him? Lots of thoughts ran through his head.
Carl was far ahead and gushing at everything he saw. Blue was about to run after the man, but his wrist was grabbed, and he turned to look at the culprit. It was a young girl about ten, with pure white, wavy hair.
"Don't entangle yourself with him, you will be in a lot of pain and if you decide to stay with his Hades, you will die, stay away from Hades."
"Ohh… little girl, let go of my hand. Where are your parents?" he tried to remove his hand from her grip, but she was too strong and his eyes widened.
How could a child have that much strength? He wondered.
"Stay away from Hades or you'll walk down the same path a thousand years ago. Hades isn't good for you, Blue, and he will end up damning you to a lifetime of pain and sadness."
Blue's eyes widened in shock, how did she…
"Hey Blue, come on. we have to go." Carl yelled at him, he turned around to see Carl smiling at him and the moment, he turned back to face the child, she wasn't there.
It seemed like she had disappeared into thin air as if she wasn't even there in the face place.
Blue knew she was real and the bruise around his wrist was proof enough.
Blue had been thinking a lot about the little girl he had met on the streets. How did she know his name? And she was ranting about someone named Hades... and he wondered why the name was so familiar?
He just couldn't pinpoint exactly how he knew the name, so he decided to go search it up on the internet, and he immediately had his answers.
Hades is the Greek king of the underworld and the god of death. He was also known as the god of wealth and called Pluto.
He was a popular Greek mythology god who was birthed by Rhea and Cronus. His father swallowed his children out of jealousy and Blue kind of felt bad for the man and his siblings.
Blue knew now that the girl was just talking about this myth and maybe, she was practicing her school lines and wanted it to sound very convincing, and she might have just coincidentally, said his name.
Blue was used to describe a feeling, she might have used the word to describe an emotion, and she might be talking about emotions or something.
He forgot about the matter and two days passed in Rome and Blue had explored and went on tour to see all the famous sights in Rome.
The scheduled day for the movie shoot finally came and after working out in the hotel gym and having a light breakfast, Blue and Carl freshened up and left for the movie set.
The movie shoot was scheduled to be at six, and he had the first scenes with Abel.
Blue was a bit nervous, but he had faith in himself. There was no difference between acting in Theater, not roadshows, and he could still nail it.
He had memorized his lines and had gone through them with Carl throughout the night. Carl asked him to take a nap in the car ride because it might take a while before they got there but Blue wasn't feeling sleepy and so, he brought out his phone and logged into his social media handle.
He decided to go live and talk to his fans and update them on everything.
Humans always thought they knew what is best, everything they do was for the benefit of all, and they were always at the peak of discovering some bullshit discovery which always led to disaster.
The more they discovered, the more they wreak havoc on the earth and now, they had managed to release 'Behemoth' from hell to walk among them. The end time was nearer than they thought or liked to believe and all these incidents weren't a coincidence, Damon's having access to the human realm and portals in every part of the underworld.
Satan's chains were being loosened by one and as soon as they were all broken, he would wreak chaos on the world and the humans' end would come.
Drake didn't understand what type of service the humans thought they were doing, by releasing Satan's demon.
They were giving him more work and it greatly irritated him, because he is the king of the underworld, he was the only person that could drag behemoth back to the underworld.
"Where is the seal?" Drake asked coldly, pointing a gun at the woman's head. She was a nun and all around, lying lifeless on the ground where the bodies of her cult members.
Her eyes widened in fear, and she shook like a leaf.
"Tell me lady, where is the seal, and who is it?" he cocked the pistol and pointed at her forehead.
A seal was like a portal and it was a gate that connected the human world and supernatural realms and if the seal remained alive, the demon would remain in the human world.
"Sh. She's at St James church, her name is Lilith Gustavo, please don't…"
Drake shot her head, and she fell back on the ground, dead.
If he let her live, she would do something like this again and, next time, they might aim for a higher demon. Anyone who would let such monsters into the world was no different from a monster.
"Welcome Everyone to the movie shoot of The book of myths and I hope we can all work hard during this period and also have a great time working together." Everyone on set applauded the movie director's speech.
"Okay guys, let's get ready and get this show on the road."
Everyone cheered, and they all went their separate ways to go and get ready.
Blue was going to his trailer with Carl and Abel came up to him and stopped him.
"Hi, Blue. Are you ready to shoot?" he asked, smiling. Blue grinned and nodded.
"Yes, senior. I'll do my best."
Abel chuckled and patted the boy's head. Carl was irritated by the A-list actor and felt he was a bit fishy.
"Okay then, I'll leave you to go prepare now. Good luck."
"You also, senior," Blue replied, politely. Abel nodded and walked towards his trailer.
"Wow… senior Abel is so nice." Blue gushed, Carl rolled his eyes at the naive child.
"Don't be fooled by his act, come on, let's go."
Blue was a bit confused, but he didn't protest and followed Carl to their trailer.
"Thank you, everyone. You have all worked hard." the director said, smiling. The staff, actors, and actresses applauded and cheered.
It was six o clock, and they had come to the end of the shoot for the day.
"You did well, Blue. Keep up the good work." the director praised, Blue blushed and nodded.
He had given his all during his scenes and was thinking like his character, who is a fox. It had been so funny when he was learning the characteristics of a fox, trying to imitate the behavior of a fox back at the mansion.
Miranda and Diego laughed at his antics, making him feel embarrassed but now it finally paid, and he had gotten a hang of his character's personality.
"Okay guys, hurry up out here, am tired of seeing your faces." the director playfully said, everyone laughed, and we're finally going to pack up to leave the set.
Blue and Carl had planned to go check out restaurants in Vatican City and he was excited about it.
Carl's phone rang, and he excused himself and went to answer the call, elsewhere.
Blue was left by the van, and he was watching prank videos and laughing, so he didn't notice when Abel came up to him.
"What are you watching?" the voice surprised Blue, and he looked up from his phone to see Abel smiling at him.
"Senior Abel... " he stuttered, cutely. Abel chuckled and patted his head. Blue had noticed he was fond of doing that.
"What are you doing here? Where's your manager?"
"Carl went to answer a phone call, he'll be back soon."
Abel nodded, in understanding.
"Why are you here, senior?" Blue asked, curiously.
"I just wanted to invite you for drinks this evening, What do you say?"
