One thing I learned about magic, as well as any other form of expressing power with energy or Aura, two things are very important.

The first is the image of what you would like to accomplish, the more detailed and precise it is, the better the result will be. Today I understand that this is a way of implementing the Will to follow predetermined instructions.

The second is a name, it cannot be just any name, it must be something that expresses the effect of what you want to accomplish, something that coincides with the image that has formed in your mind. This name will serve as a trigger for this image as well as a connection between the image and the energy being used.

Magic focuses on the form of the image.

The Spiritual Rune focuses on the meaning of the image in philosophical form.

Ki focuses on the depth of the image, the mental and emotional state represented.
