"Fine! But make sure to keep your promise!" The two girls released the woman and cashier as Mara faced the two girls and smiled. "Of course, I promise. Cashier, gave those chips bags to the girls. I will pay for them" the cashier nodded in fear.

The two girls lowered their heads in embarrassment. They did not want to do that though. They knew that it was wrong ofc, however that was the only choice they could choose. But this young woman in sky blue sweater suddenly offered a job to them.

"Let's go girls!" Mara spoke as the two girls followed her without uttering any words. "Here, hold these for me" Mara handed the two bags to the girl as they three stepped out of the convenience store. "*Woof!*" As the Husky saw the two girls, he barked loudly.

He thought they two were giving his owner troubles. Mara ruffled his soft fur, calming him down. "No! They are going to live with us! Don't treat them like that, baby" Mara smiled at the dog and grabbed the leash. They four walked towards the young woman's house.

"What are your names?"

When they arrived to the house, Mara sat down on the lounge and asked. The two girls stood on front of the young woman with lowered heads. "I am Lily. And she is Lila. We are twin sisters" the girl spoke as they two took off the masks and caps.

Mara raised her eyebrows at the sight of the twins sisters faces. Their black hair and caramel brown colored eyes were the exactly same. They two really said copy and paste. The young woman narrowed her eyes and started searching for the difference between the twins sisters.

"I see. So basically, I am Mara Athena. The CEO of 'Reece' company. Since I am very busy, I cannot take care of my Husky. You two will be working as my assistants and maids of my house. This is my dog, don't scare him or else you will be the one who got scared instead.

As for the salary, like I said 5000 dollars for a month. You will get a room to live and three meals a day. But make sure to do your jobs well, just because you get enough salary and a room to live does not mean you don't have to work hard.

If you disappoint me, I won't hesitate to throw you away. Understand?" Mara's sharp words made the girls gulped. The young woman was giving the two girls chills down to their spines. "I understand, Miss Mara" Lily suddenly spoke. "I understand, Miss Mara"

Lila said with a smile. "I have a question, can you two fight?" The young woman's question confused the two girls. "Umm yes. But just for defense so not too much" Lily answered. It looked like Lily was little older than Lila. Maybe five seconds.

"Great, since you two are going to be my assistants, I will train you two to how to fight" The two girls nodded in understatement. "Oh by the way, you two can cook right?" Mara asked with furrowed eyebrows. What if the two girls could not cook?

"I know how to cook, Miss! Lily knows how to clean the house and she is more better than me when it comes to fighting!" Lila spoke with a wide grin. She gave vibes of energetic female lead's friend. "Well, that's great. If you have questions, just ask"

The young woman crossed her arms.

"Why did you offer a job to us? What if we were real thieves who stole everything? What if we tried to kill you?" Lily asked with a stone face. That was the question which she had been wanting to ask. A deep chuckle escaped Mara's lips.

"That's impossible. No one can kill me. And I know that you two are innocent girls who are trying to fill your stomachs" the young woman's answer made Lila grinned. "How did you know it, Miss?" She asked in disbelief. "I am a genius so ofc I can see through you two"

Mara chuckled. "So where are your parents and where do you live?" The young woman asked. "We are orphans who live under the bridge by being beggars. However, people became heartless and just walked past us. That's why we decided to steal some food"

Lily answered honestly. She was saying the truth, not even a lie could be found in her words. Mara raised her eyebrow, trying to see if there was a lie or not. But it seemed like the girl was stating the truth only. "Well, then I will show you the room to live"

Mara stood up from the lounge as the two girls followed her. They three arrived to the room which was near the kitchen. "This is where you will be living from now on. Just a reminder that I won't hesitate to kill you two if you try to betray me"

There was a smile on the young woman's face. It was as if she was talking sweet words. Lila quivered in fear at the sight of the young woman smiling at them. "We won't betray you, Miss. I promise. Thank you for helping us" Lily spoke and knelt down. Lila quickly knelt down too.

They two bowed down.

They thanked the young woman for filling the blanks in their lives. Mara only smiled. "Well well, good night Lily and Lila. See you in the morning" she said with her usual smile as the two girls nodded with smiles on their faces. They three went to their own rooms.

Mara threw herself on the bed as the loud sigh escaped her lips. She was sure that the two girls were loyal. Maybe she did the best choice. Since she was needing maids to take care fo her house and dog, she chose the two girls who were suitable.

"I hope I did the best choice" the young woman murmured and sat up on the bed to treat her wounds. She pressed the ice pack on the ankle and did her night routine quietly. After some minutes, she finished her night routine quickly and decided to sleep.

The night passed like that. The sky started to grow brighter as the sun started rising from the east side. The birds chirping sounds were heard from the outside of the young woman's room in the early morning. "Who the fuck let them make such noises?!"

Mara furiously spoke as covered her face with the blanket, wanting to kill the birds which were waking her up from beautiful dreams. However, her stomach growled loudly, making the young woman bit her lower lip in frustration. "I swear! I will fill this fucking stomach till it explode"

The young woman shouted.

She took a deep breath to calm herself down from burning down the whole world. Her eyes were still closed, not being able to decide what to do. She was struggling on choosing if she should get up or sleep again. "Ugh! How the fuck am I supposed to sleep again?!"

Mara spoke furiously and stood up from the bed. She could not sleep again since the surrounding was loud with chatting and barks. She frowned tightly in frustration, hoping for people to shut up for two years so she could sleep peacefully for once.

Her steps were directing to the bathroom. Mara did her morning routine in anger. Her injured ankle disappointed her more because it was making her unable to walk straightly. "Do you want to be cut with hand saw, little bitch?!" She glared at her ankle.

Mara was blaming her anger on her injured ankle, looking like a fool in others eyes. She walked out of her room and went down to the dining room with a tightened frown. "Good morning, Miss" Lila greeted energetically. Her grin could brighten the whole world.

It almost made the young woman blind. "Good morning" Mara replied with a small smile. "Please let me help you, Miss" Lila stepped forward and held the young woman's arm. She noticed that the young woman was having trouble with the ankle.

Seemed like the young woman injured her ankle. But Lila did not help the young woman because she was scared of her last night. But after listening to the young woman's words and seeing her smile, Lila became to understand the young woman's personality.

Mara Athena was not that scary though. She was scary, Lila admitted that but not too much. The young woman was fun to be around honestly. "Thanks" Mara thanked the girl and sat down at the host seat. "Where is my Husky?" The young woman asked with wrinkled eyebrows.

"He just went out, Miss"

Mara nodded in understatement. "Let him go because not even I can stop him from going outside in early morning everyday" Mara spoke as Lila noted in her head. "I understand, Miss" "How about Lily? Where is she?" "She is preparing smoothie for you, Miss"

Lila answered with a grin as Mara nodded in understatement. Her eyes were focused on the dishes on the table. "Did you cook all of these?" She asked in disbelief. Lila nodded. "Yes, Miss. We cooked all of these just for you" the girl replied with a big smile.

"This is impressive" Mara admitted the truth. It looked like the girls woke up in the early morning since the time was already 9 in the morning. It must took two hours at least just to cook these many dishes. Lila smiled at the compliment.

"Good morning, Miss" Lily's voice was heard from the back, she walked out of the kitchen with a glass in her hand. "Hello" Mara greeted back with a usual smile. "I made avocado smoothie for you, Miss" Lily spoke and placed the glass in front of the young woman.

"Thanks, Lily" Mara smiled at the sight of the glass of avocado smoothie. It looked tasty and healthy. She took a sip without hesitating. Her eyes sparkled in disbelief. "Wait, this tastes really good" the young woman smiled in satisfaction as Lily blushed at the compliment.

"I appreciate your compliment, Miss" Lily replied with a smile. "Have you eaten?" The young woman asked with furrowed eyebrows as she put down the glass on the table. The two girls shook their heads innocently. They woke up early just to cook these dishes for their Miss.

They did not even eat breakfast. Because they were afraid that the young woman might wake up early and had to wait for breakfast. "What the heck, you two have to fill your stomachs first before cooking for me! Come! Eat with me!"

Mara pointed at the two seats, signaling the girls to eat breakfast with her. "It is ok, Miss. We just wanted to thank you by showing how much we appreciate your help" Lily said with a small smile as Lila nodded in agreement. "You fools, come eat with me quickly!"

The young woman frowned.

"But-" "I said come eat with me. Don't make me repeat" Mara stared into the two girls eyes deeply, giving chills down to their spines. "I understand, Miss. Let's eat, Lily" Lila dragged her sister to eat the breakfast with their Miss. They did not dare to refuse.

Mara smiled in satisfaction at the sight of the two girls eating quietly. "The lessons to become more stronger and smarter will start after eating breakfast. So fill your stomachs as much as possible because I won't give any breaks since time is precious for me"

The young woman's words made Lila gulped in anxiety and fear. Lily nodded in understatement. "We understand, Miss" she answered with a cold face as Lila smiled awkwardly at the young woman, avoiding the eye contact with her Miss.
