"So courageous huh?"

The young woman's hand reached to the man's neck, causing the man to gasp in pain. There was no pity nor fear in Mara's eyes. Just coldness and boredom as if she did not care if the man died or not. Lila's eyes widened in disbelief at the sight.

The scene of the young woman choking the man heartlessly scared Lila. But not for Lily. Lily did not show any emotions. She just stared at the scene as if she was used to it. "Nod your head if you can hear me" The young woman released the grip from the man's neck.

Making the man coughed really hard. He bit the cloth around his mouth as his eyes filled with flames. The man looked up into the young woman's eyes fearlessly, not responding. "Nod your fucking head!" Mara raised her voice, losing her patience slowly and slowly.

Still the man remained silent. "Alright, I will forgive you for once since I don't have much time" The young woman spoke as Lila quickly placed the seat for the young woman to sit in front of the man. "Did Remy Horper send you to stalk me?"

Mara sat down at the seat and crossed her arms and legs. But there was no response from the man. Making the young woman gritted her teeth in annoyance. "Lily.." she tiredly called the girl. She just said the girl's name, she did not even need to tell what to do.

Lily stepped forward and looked down at the man who was refusing to respond. Her hand reached to his hair, pulling it really hard. "Nod your fucking head if it is true. Don't make me kill you" Lily coldly spoke. Lila pressed her lips tightly.

Her sister was really scary.

The man gulped, remaining silent. "You are wasting my precious time, you twerp" Mara said with a stone face, killing the man in her mind for fifty times. Lily pulled the man's hair, looking down at his face with a stone face.

Then she looked up at the young woman, asking for permission silently. Mara nodded in agreement as Lily's lips formed into a smile when the young woman nodded. She raised her fist into the air. She punched the man's nose.

The breaking sound of the man's nose made Lila gasped in disbelief and fear. She stared at her sister in surprise. When did her sister become so scary? Mara tilted her head. "Did that asshole send you to stalk me?" She repeated the question.

The man inhaled a sharp breath as the blood began to drip down from his broken nose. He did not want to answer the young woman. He bit his lower lip in frustration. He was just walking back and forth in front of the young woman's house.

He just wanted to see who lived together with her. Because Remy Horper wanted to know who was helping the young woman. However, someone suddenly hit his head with the bat and dragged him into the house. When he opened his eyes, he was in the storage room.

His whole body was tied at the chair. His eyes were covered with black cloth. He could not even speak. The man who was regretting his life decisions, slowly nodded while squeezing his eyes tightly. Making Mara smiled in satisfaction. "Good.."

She murmured.

The young woman looked at Lily who was still pulling the man's hair tightly. She was signaling the girl with her eyes. Lily nodded in understatement. Her right hand quickly reached to the cloth as her left hand never loosened the grip on the man's hair.

Then she untied the cloth which was wrapped around the man's mouth. "Tell me the reason why Remy Horper ordered you to do that" Mara raised her eyebrow and questioned. The man breathed heavily as he stared at the young woman with hatred and regret.

Should he yell and ask for help? Or should he answer the young woman? The man was thinking deeply. But the sight of the young woman staring at him and the tightened grip on his hair made him gulped. There was no choice. He had to answer.

He could die if he yelled. He could die in this girl's hands before people came to help him. "H-he wants to know who you are working together with" the man lowered his head and replied. Mara raised her eyebrow and furrowed her brows.

Remy Horper was suspecting her. He was believing that she was working with someone to do these shits. Seemed like he was trying so hard to know who was helping her. "I see.." the young woman murmured and stood up from the seat. She turned around.

Ready to leave the room. But her steps stopped. "Kill him and throw his body into the river. Don't let him escape or else I will kill you two. Make sure not to leave any evidence" Mara spoke without looking back, making Lila who was standing beside her quivered in fear.

"I understand!"

The twin sisters shouted as the man eyes widened. "Wait!! Don't kill me!! Help!! Someone help me please!!" The man yelled as Lily punched his right eye. "Shut up!" Lily shouted as she quickly wrapped the cloth around the man's mouth. Lila stepped forward to help.

Mara walked out of the room, her steps were directing to the outside of the house. She looked down at her phone to check the time and turned out it was nearly midnight. Mara sighed and walked out of the street, heading to the road where taxis were available.

The young woman quickly went into the taxi after telling where she wanted to go. She left the twin sisters with the man. Mara trusted her girls. They would never disappoint her. They would find a way to throw the body into the nearest river. "Damn.. I am exhausted"

Mara murmured. She leaned back on the headboard as a sigh escaped her lips. This night was going to be long. Suddenly an idea popped up in her head, making the young woman's lips curved up into a smirk. Mara dialed the number and called the man at midnight.

"What?" The man accepted her phone call in a second but his cold reply disappointed the young woman. "Say hello, Mister Oliver. It is rude to say 'what'" Mara spoke as Oliver rolled his eyes. "What do you want?" He questioned, causing the young woman to roll her eyes.

She was worrying over awaking the man with a phone call. But listening to his voice made her sighed in relief. He did not sound sleepy or something. Looked like he was still awake at this hour. "Do you want to join me?" Mara asked as Oliver raised his eyebrow.

"Join what?" He questioned with furrowed eyebrows. "I am on my way to make Juliet Horper cry. I wonder if you want to watch that moment or not" the young woman said and looked out of the car window. Oliver fell into silence, thinking on what to do.

"Send me the location"

The man's words made the young woman's lips formed into a satisfied smile. "Alright.. see you!!" she spoke and Oliver hung up the phone. Mara put the phone into her pocket of the blazer. The night was getting colder than usual.

She could not walk around with the revealing tight dress. So Mara decided to wear the blazer. "You have arrived, Miss" the taxi driver said as the young woman paid the cost. She went out of the car and waited for the taxi to disappear from her sight.

When the car finally left, the young woman looked around to make sure there was no one on the road. Her lips formed into a small smile. There was not even a shadow on the road, only cars passed. Since the time was midnight, people were nowhere to be found.

"Great..." Mara murmured as her eyes traveled to the jewelry shop which was in front of her. The shop was in silence, it was covered in dark. Looked like the shop had closed but it was just a cover. The real show was behind this jewelry shop, waiting for the young woman to join.

Mara looked around, waiting for the certain man to arrive. The engine sound of Ferrari made the young woman's eyes lit up. The car stopped in front of the young woman who was standing on the platform across the jewelry shop.

As the car door opened, the man in black pants and white shirt went out of the car. He was wearing the black blazer as the black tie was seen. His eyes fell onto the young woman in all black outfit. It was as if they two discussed about the outfit to match. "Long time no see"

Mara greeted with a small smile. "Yea" Oliver replied with a stone face, his dry response made the young woman roll her eyes in annoyance. "Where is she?" Oliver questioned and looked around. "Juliet Horper? She is in that jewelry shop, playing poker with her friends"

The young woman pointed at the shop as Oliver turned around to take a look. He furrowed his brows. The shop was covered in dark and silence. He looked at the young woman with wrinkled eyebrows. "Don't look at me like that. I am not kidding"

Mara shrugged.

"So she has been coming here on weekends?" Oliver raised his eyebrow. Juliet Horper always leave the house on weekends when the time was around midnight. As if she had some plans to enjoy. Turned out she was enjoying with a bunch of stupid women and men.

The young woman nodded. "Everything is illegal. This jewelry shop is unlicensed and just a cover for their crimes. They are playing poker while betting on jewelries. There is brothel also. Those rich women and men spend their money on pretty boys and girls"

Mara explained as Oliver's frown tightened. "Disgusting people.." he murmured furiously. "I know.. can you play poker by the way?" The young woman's question made the man raised his eyebrow in confusion. "Umm no.." he furrowed his brows.

"What a pity.." the young woman murmured as Oliver frowned. "I can play poker" he spoke with a stone face. Making Mara chuckled in amusement. "Can you play or not" she asked again. "I can" Oliver confirmed. "Well, that's good" "Why do you ask?"

Oliver furrowed his brows and questioned. "We are going to play poker with them. And take everything from them, especially from Juliet Horper. Basically making her lose all the money and jewelries" Mara smiled as Oliver raised his eyebrow.

"Will they let us in though?" He questioned. The young woman nodded. "Here" she put out the masquerade mask and handed it to the man, causing Oliver to furrow his brows in confusion. "What is this for?" He questioned with a frown, not taking the mask.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you that this is masquerade ball where rich men and women hide their faces to protect their identities" Mara spoke as Oliver furrowed his brows, not liking those people ideas. "Come on! I am wearing this masquerade mask too"

Mara spoke as Oliver sighed.

He grabbed the masquerade mask from the young woman and covered his face with it. His smoky grey eyes looked extremely handsome with the masquerade mask. Mara smiled in satisfaction. "Good boy.."

She murmured, making Oliver flushed. He had never got a compliment like 'good boy' from a woman except his mother. Mara Athena was the only woman who called him 'good boy'. Oliver blinked several times to brush away the flushed face.

The young woman also wore the masquerade mask, covering half of her face. Her honey brown fox eyes flickered under the moonlight as Oliver stared into it deeply. "Do I look beautiful?" She asked as the man looked away with a stone face.

Refusing to answer her question. Mara chuckled as she patted Oliver's shoulder in satisfaction. "You don't need to answer. I already know that I look beautiful" she spoke and locked her eyes with Oliver's smoky grey eyes. "Whatever, let's start the show"

Mara's lips formed into a devil smile.

The man nodded.
