Getting Chased Out

"These are all your trash. Take your things and scram!"

Following a rude voice, a few books flew out from the gate of the famous Dunbar Residence, almost hitting the girl standing outside.

"Damn it!"

Lydia cursed in her heart, squatted down, picked up the books, and prepared to leave.

The babysitter stood at the entrance with her nostrils up, looking at the girl who had forcefully swallowed her anger. She walked forward with a fierce gaze and gave her a searing stare.

"How dare you look at me like that? I'll kill you, you little b*tch!"

Lydia curled up on the ground and did not move. She clenched her fists, and her face filled with hatred.

She would definitely take revenge for today!

She would make the people who bullied her here suffer ten thousand times more than she did.

While she was picking up the books, Edna, the second daughter of the Dunbar Family, came down from upstairs yawning. She was wearing a sexy nightgown. "Oh! So eager to feel the vast world outside in the morning. But now that you have graduated, it's time for you to work on your own." With that, she smiled in a sarcastic manner. "Oh, I forgot. If your family had the spirit to work hard, you wouldn't be a parasite living here."

A beautiful and wealthy woman walked over from the kitchen holding the breakfast that she had just prepared. She didn't treat Lydia well as well, laughing mockingly, "These are all garbage books, yet you treat them like treasure. As expected, people who can't put on a show have nothing good in them."

"That's right!" The babysitter said and wanted to step on her again.

Lydia could not bear it any longer. She raised her leg steadily and kicked the nanny's calf with the tip of her foot. The nanny immediately withdrew her foot from the pain and hugged her calf as she cried out.

Lydia ignored her and quietly put away the books.

She did not have anything in her possession in this house. She only had some books left from when she was a student, which she had brought with her when she first arrived at the Dunbar Residence. Later, when she started attending university, she stopped staying here, so these books had been idle for many years.

Now that she had graduated from university, she was independent. Naturally, she wanted to leave this place which was filled with rot and malice.

Today, she had originally planned to come to collect her books. However, she did not expect the people to be as arrogant as before.

Edna saw that the babysitter was in pain and could not help but fly into a rage. "Lydia, are you crazy? Did you forget that I can let have you locked in the police station for a few days? Have you forgotten that our city's public security chief is my uncle?"

The lady next to her put down her breakfast and scolded, "Lydia, how dare you hit me? Have you forgotten how your aunt has taught you in the past? In such a wealthy family, there are rules to be followed!"

When Lydia heard the word "aunt," her hand paused.

Heh, aunt.

After lying to herself for so long, she was finally starting to believe it. She had long forgotten that Lydia was also her biological daughter.

When her father left, Lydia was only five years old. This woman, who claimed to love her father like her life, gave up looking for him quickly.

She then packed up her luggage and very quickly remarried the second son of the Dunbar Family. Within two years, she had given birth to a daughter and a son consecutively, consolidating her position in the Dunbar Family. Lydia was mercilessly abandoned by her.

If her grandmother had not brought her back to the countryside and raised her personally by planting vegetables, she might have starved to death.

Four years ago, her grandmother was seriously ill and could no longer support her tertiary education. In desperation, her grandmother brought her to the Dunbar Family and asked this so-called biological mother to take care of her.

At that time, when she learned that she was going to be reunited with her mother and that her mother had accepted her, she was very happy. However, she did not expect her mother to forbid her from calling her "mum", instead only allowing her to call her "aunt". Her mum had also claimed that she was a poor relative from the countryside, who had no choice but to seek refuge with them.

For the past four years, this biological mother had never looked at her with a hint of warmth in her eyes.

The babysitter rubbed her legs and shouted, "Madam Julie, I think you have already done your best for her. You have to teach her a lesson now that she is so arrogant, she will definitely suffer when she goes out into society in the future."

The lady, whose name was Julie Cleese then said, "Lydia, apologize to Aunt Jude."

Lydia packed up her things and looked around coldly. Then, she bowed to Julie. "Aunt, I've already transferred the university fees back to you. From now on, I have nothing to do with you."

In the past few years, she had been working hard to save money so that one day, she could finally part ways with the Dunbar Family.

She did not owe the Dunbar Family a single cent. On the contrary, the Dunbar Family had brought her countless humiliations over the years.

Sooner or later, she would humiliate them in the same way!
