Lucas had seen Brian being silent. As he announced that Beatrix and Glassera would join them on their journey to the Wu Region, Brian had been silent all day. Furthermore, Lucas had realized that Brian knew that the two women had the idea of joining White Lead.

Curious, Lucas didn't pry more into Brian's thoughts, even how much he was thinking. It was already too much for him.

"We are near." The coachman announced.

Lucas's eyes instinctively moved to Brian. Following that, he noticed how Brian became tense and also stiff. He then further couldn't handle the curiosity he had.

"Brian, why do you look nervous? Is there something wrong?"

Brian flinched in his position and looked blankly at Lucas. It seemed that his thoughts were flying without destination. And as Lucas realized that, he let out a sigh and just ignored it.

"Never mind. Just continue resting. We are near."

"I understand, Senior Brother Lucas. Sorry for bothering you."
