As soon as Lucas arrived, the first thing that came into his mind was to check Pearl's condition. As Pearl was the one who cared for him the most when he was in a coma, he thought that it would be natural for him to check if she was doing well. Therefore, he went to her room and knocked on it.

On the other side of the door, Pearl was just comfortably walking to open the sliding door, but then, she paused as she felt a familiar presence behind it. She stiffened, then slowly opened it as if she was expecting someone standing behind the door.

"Lucas..." Pearl said, ignoring all the formalities, then hugging him immediately.

Clouded by her emotions, she had already forgotten about the customs she was following when in front of a senior expert. She hadn't had time to think about it. As for her, she already missed Lucas to the point that she would even risk dying if he got offended by it.
