Wasted

"Did I miss something?"Bohai asked as he looked at her with a curious expression, also turning back to steal a glance at Mu Shen.

Xiulin gave him a wide grin which dazed him as she dragged him away from the scene as Mu Shen glanced at her back with complicated feelings.

"Linlin, I'm so sorry I didn't notice that bastard, or I would have hit him myself. But you were still awesome!"Shen Lihua muttered as she swaggered here and there as she took each step while moving to the car. While Yan Xing broke into a giggle fit looked at her. And the other two also didn't look any different than wasted.

Xiulin couldn't help but sigh, looking at these kids. As she facepalmed herself, helping them all into the car to send them back to their places.

She looked at Bohai who looked much better than them as he positioned Shen Lihua's face, which kept hitting the window because she dozed off.He looked really helpless as he tried to help her while Xiulin laughed looking at his dilemma.

She takes back what she said no that guy wasn't any better after all of them slowly left. He dozed off slowly, keeping his head on her shoulder. She looked helpless as she looked at him. Personally, she wasn't a fan of kinship since she didn't have anyone to do with it, to be honest. But she kind of likes it now. She now had more than one person to call her own.

But this fears her more than anything else. She can't live here. She doesn't belong here, unlike the real Xiulin. She looked at the Mansion as she entered, reminding her of the 6 months she has spent here. And the person in her arms who made her feel a sense of belonging in a foreign country and a foreign body.

She suddenly felt the weight on her shoulder lift only to see Zixuan slowly taking away his brother leading them to his room.

"Did you have fun?" he asked, trying to initiate a conversation.

Xiulin smiled and nodded as she thought of the possibility of meeting her brother much sooner.

Zixuan smiled as he looked at her being so happy, but if he only knew what she was thinking he wouldn't be smiling.

He patted her shoulder and went back to his room while Xiulin also smiled and rushed back to her room. She slowly took a long shower and came out to touch her phone to the time. Only for it to blink at that moment.

"WE NEED TO TALK," it said and she was pretty sure who this person was. So she texted him the address of a cafe nearby and time 3 pm as she has to have lunch with the family tomorrow as they were leaving for a month.

She didn't check if he saw the message or not as she switched it off to get some sleep and to pack her luggage first thing in the morning.

Xiulin slowly woke up as the sun crept inside the room. She groaned and extended her hand to the table for the phone to check the time which was 9 am. She slowly got up and yawned as she slowly walked to her washroom to brush her teeth and do her daily needs. Then she came and packed everything and headed downstairs.

"Baby, are you having a hangover?"Yang Shi asked as she looked at her girl who slowly dragged herself to the dining table in difficulty.

"No Mama. I'm fine, but I won't say the same for him," she said as she looked at Bohai who looked like he would roll down the stairs anytime now.

Seeing that guy was about to fall, she went inside to the kitchen to ask Madam Cui to make a rice porridge as soon as possible.

Bohai slowly walked to the table to sit beside only to see the seat be taken away from his brother who pulled away from the chair right before he kept his ass down.

Bohai whined and pouted as he went to take the other seat while Xiulin stifled her laughter looking at him.

"All packed?" he asked with a small smile that widened a little when she nodded. And then he turned his face to his brother who was wanted to try to be invisible and lessen his presence as much as possible.

And he already knew the answer.

He went back to his breakfast while both ate the porridge to make their appetite a little better.

Xiulin then got up and went to the study on the 2nd floor to see what grandpa Jun was up to. She didn't know when she got close to all these people, but she felt comfortable with them. And now that she was kinda sure that she was meeting her brother she wasn't sure if she was gonna come back. It didn't feel ideal for her.

The more she has connected to them the more dangerous for them. She sighed and smiled wide as she knocked on the door twice. Which became the secret for him and her to say that she has come to spend time with him.
