Chapter 15- Not as Intended
*Before the battle*
Hero 1: Here's how we're going to do this. Using this new technology, we're gonna break open a hole into the volcano, and send a ball of explosive water mana to drench the inside, destroying the core and silencing the volcano for good. Any ideas?
Niima: Um, yeah. I told you the details about the dungeon already, they should have grown by now-
Hero 3: Look. We're professionals. Personally, I'm not gonna believe the word of a lady who literally got captured by a dungeon
Niima: BY A DUNGEON! DO YOU NOT-you know what? Go ahead, get yourselves killed, I want no part of this, it's obviously a death trap
Hero 4: COWARD
Hero 3: I can't blame her, we are trying to defy the gods themselves, and destroy a dungeon
Hero 1: Enough chatter, back to the plan...
*Back to the battle*
*They changed the nature of the spell, turning it into a freezing spell*
*Everyone is still fighting, but they all notice the massive amount of blue light launching itself across the battlefield like a second son*
*It lands on the core, and starts freezing it*
Core *outside voice*: Wow, you really did...exact your vengeance
*His speech gets slower and slower, as the volcano slowly is covered in a deep blue ice*
Core *outside voice*: You all...fought well...its too bad...I didn't get to fight too...
*The land itself starts breaking apart, and all the monsters start freezing over, turning into giant chunks of ice*
Core *outside voice*: I wish...we could've been...on the same side...at least then...we could've...conquered this planet...togetherrrr...
*It becomes exceedingly silent*
Mag: Did...we just win?
*Tsuyoi pokes the giant wasp sculpture, (it's Flamey's), that fell to the ground after crystallization*
Tsuyoi: I think...I think we did it! THE DUNGEON HAS BEEN DEFEATED!
*The roar of the remaining soldiers rings out from the masses, but is then cut short from a massive rumbling*
Mag: What the hell?!
Wizard 1: The dungeon's destabilizing! Everyone run!
*Sure enough, the dungeon's original ground layer has started to sink, like a massive pit*
*All the humans scramble, leaving everything behind, even the corpses of their fallen brethren, to the collapse of the dungeon, never to be seen again*
*Before the sinking*
Core: This...I never expected this...I'm sorry...my children...I have failed you

The crystal starts waking up, and starts having an odd sort of sensation spread throughout its orby body. The warmth it's always felt has disappeared, being replaced with a cool sensation.

You now have a new menu to view your elemental options

Elemental Options
Magma: Can mold land and inhabitants deal extra fire damage, can melt enemies at higher levels
Ice: Can freeze and slow down enemies, encasing them in ice at later levels
