KIDNAPPED

"careful! there is a snake hole". It was Halima that is talking to me, on our way to hostel.

My heart skipped for a moment and then i grab her. "oh my God". I said.

"Never mind, it will not come out. Let's go, she said.

We have a long walk, because the hostel is far from the classes.

"Are you hungry". Halima asked.

No, I am just missing my mom. I replied.

Halima was stunned for a moment but then shook her head.

"I know even your mother is missing you now, but this is the thing you will do for her to be proud of you. And you see alot of people are seeking for this previledge, but fail". She said. Then hold my hands and smile.

"You will adopt with it. it's time for lunch, lets hurry and go to the dinning hall". she said.

I spent that day with Halima, until the sun goes down. Where my mind goes back to home, and then i started crying. It was Halima and our house captain "Judith" that coddled me, until i fall asleep.

As soon as i fall asleep, there was a strong sound that almost makes my eardrum out. I woke up terrified. Then i began to hear noises from the other hostel. With all this chores many of the students did not wake up.

From the other side, I heard our house captain saying we are under attack by the group of insurgency. so, she wakes all junior students and sneak them through the fence. We began to walk, but i felt something touching my feet.

Looking down i screamed in horror as i found snake slingering around me. I quickly kick the snake and ran while screaming hard, suddenly I hit something hard and fell back. It was the time insurgence soldiers notice that some of the students are on the run.

They follow us and we were separated and began to run into the bush, but we realized that we are surrounded. As every corner we tried to take was blocked.

"We are trapped". Halima said.

Then we found a small cave that will not adjust us all, and hide there. But soon they will find us. Halima decided to distract they attentions, for us to escape.

She stand and started running to other direction. I tried to stoped her but it's too late.

"Someone is there!". I heard a man yell. Then they run after her.

We also started running to other direction. As we are running i could hear the voices saying; "She is the only one that is running, she deceive us".

We run as fast as we could, until I couldn't walk anymore.

"Are you alright". One of my colleagues asked me.

I just nodded, but the truth was my legs were hurting me so much because of a long run. And i didn't eat much, since it's my first day at school and i am still missing my parents.

"We have to continue". The other girls said. "They have cars and bicycles, they can easily come after us".

I can't remember how long we have been running or walking but my legs was hurting so much, my throat was so dry and my head begin to spin. But we continue in spite of all that. If we wanted to live and see our parents again. we have to keep going.

Now we are far from them. So, we started to walk. As we are walking my legs gave in and everything went to black.

I wake up from someone splashing water on my face. When i open my eyes i saw some girls that are my colleagues from school, standing beside me. Many of them are young from they looks. They are all crying.

It was already morning. And we were surrounded by rocks, and there was a small river in the middle of them. It's not far away from us.

Let's continue walking. I said standing up abruptly, but i lose my balance.

The girl from my back grab me, and said. "I don't think you can walk. Your legs is swollen".

I can w..... i shrieked in pain. The other girls help and put me on her back. And we continue walking.

Without our knowledge we where already surrounded by the insurgency's. We try to find a way out but there are everywhere. We shout and screamed to our lung, but there was no one to help us.

We where loaded into a vehicle, and for those that can walk follow us and walk for a several miles. Until other trucks come and take them away.

We had a ride of atleast 100 miles, then we stop at a place like a small village with different tent of atleast 60. They split us, sending some girls to other camps near the boarder.

Back at the front gate of our school, many parents gathered and mourn about the incident that happens last night.

Among the parents there was my father, who was crying. Thinking what will happen to me? and the rest of the girls.

The whole country was in shocked, and many schools where close especially boarding schools.

Some small number of girls that manage to escape, meet with they parents. Hugging them in a teary eyes and praying that we will escape too.

Following the incident the president of our country gathered a reinforcement troops and some vigilant group to search for us.

They spent whole day searching for us, but all in vain.

My mother, upon hearing what happening at our school, was collapse and rush to the hospital. Then later dead for from heart attack.

My father was shocked with the death of mother and the incident that happens to me. He cries many times, but it could not help. So, he calm himself and pray. Hoping that one day we will meet again.

Many of the parents dead that day, and the people of the country accused the government for it neglecting the security issues of the nation.
