Chapter 9

The next morning Charm woke up Shivering on her bed. The rain and wind had given her a cold. She could not really recall much from last night. She couldn't remember how she was able to get back home , Or who put her in bed. She had a little headache, so she just lay still on the bed and shut her eyes. it took awhile before she could remmember that she was the only person At home, her mum and Dad went for a weekend Trip. She pushed down her blankets, slipped into her slippers and got out of Bed. When she brushed her teeth in the bathroom,She felt her neck. There were red marks in her hands and neck. She recalled Stan's lips, his words and his touch. "Get a grip Charm....get a grip" washing her face she stared at the mirror. Suddenly she could perceive some Cooking in the kitchen. "Was Mum back?" She asked her self.

Walking down the stairs she heard voices. Alittle confused she rushed to the kitchen only to see Scott and Trisha experimenting in the kitchen. She gasped, "what the..."

"Baby girl..." Trish Screamed happily on seeing her. "You are awake"

Charm stared at Scott, who seemed to be in her Father's Apron, Smiling cutely at her. She was a bit surprised"Scott...what.."

"Scrambled eggs for breakfast...get ready.."Scott said immediately staring at Charm's Nightwear.

She suddenly realized that she was still looking Morning like, getting embarrassed she rushed to take her bath.

Five minutes later she met Trisha and Scott at the table. "You guys... shouldn't have done this" Charm said still feeling embarrassed.

"Last night must have been mind draining for you... C'mon bestie..this is the least I could do for you" Charm's eyes were on Scott the whole time. He didn't look at her, he just shared the food. "Thanks Scott...."

He smiled "I just want you to be happy"

Trisha made her awkward noises "awwwwwwnnnn you two are Soo cute"

Charm Laughed pinching Trisha's thigh. "I guess you had alot to drink Trish"

"We gotta report Stan...." Trish said angrily as They got under the Drizzle and watering earth, That Morning straight into Scott's Car.

Charm thought for awhile, Remembering Stan's words.".... isn't that why you approached me?...you liked me didn't you..."

"No..."Charm said. "He was drunk...He didn't try to Take advantage of me on purpose"

Scott stared at her In amazement "You are just gonna let it slide...?"

I Smiled, "Yes... and If you two really care about me...you would let me handle Stan"

She Looked on and smiled. "Let's go watch a Movie.."

Monday Came Fast enough, it still Looked as gloomy as ever. The rain made Charm feel weak, She hadn't Spoken to Rache and she kept wondering why Rache hadn't Shown up in awhile. Was she mad at me..she muttered. She brushed the idea of summoning her. "I will do that when am back from school" She Smiled.

"Are you okay?" Scott asked while Charm Opened her locker.

"Ofcourse...Why won't I Be..." Charm Locked the locker and held his hand "Thank you...For Everything"

He Smiled at her, his eyes brightening up, to show that he was truly happy. "I should Thank you for Coming Into your life.." Charm Laughed slipping her hands into her black coat, trying to not feel awkward as possible.

After school, The school Volunteering team planned to go to the orphanage nearby to give the children some gifts. Scott walked alongside Charm, She felt herself warming towards him. Then Stan approached them.

"Charm?...Can I talk to you?"

He said almost in a whisper. Scott got pissed off pushing him by the chest. "You have got some nerve... Approaching her...Get out of ...."

Charm held his Hand."Scott...it's okay....He just wants to talk..." He looked at her for awhile and then at Stan, Whose eyes were lowered to the ground. Moving away in a Distance, Scott stayed beside David and Trish.

"How are you?..." Charm asked Coldly Knowing that he would be surprised at the question.

He shuttered alittle.."Am.. Guilty...."

She Stared at him With Concern as he continued."I didn't mean to disrespect you...am sorry, I don't really expect you to forgive me Charm...I just don't know why When I got so drunk, Michael dared me and all...they said I wasn't a man...I wanted to prove....am so sorry Charm...I really am"

Charm smirked Mockingly"I Don't have a problem with you though, I forgive you....But you shouldn't justify your Mistake by partly blaming others...it shows Cowardice"

He Stared at her, "But that's What I am Charm...am a good for nothing Coward...I Don't make anyone Happy.... So forgive me if my Attitude protrays one."

She touched his shoulder. "Why do you call yourself that?" He did look like a mess to charm she just hadn't seen it before, that Stan was pathetic. "I just wanted attention...when you approached me...I thought you liked me...Cause usually to people like me it's something that happens only once in awhile"

Charm Looked down"Am sorry..Stan"

"Don't apologize...I am weak hearted...am sorry for misunderstanding you"

She smiled Coyly, receiving her contagious smile he smiled back."are we good?"

She Nodded and gave him a slight hug.

"Mistakes...Can Give birth to more Mistakes"Rache said drinking the wine Charm Named Enchanter vin. "I just don't understand...Rache" Charm said feeling hurt. "Why weren't you there for me?...What if I was really taken advantage of"

Rache, handed her the cup of win, I knew you wouldn't be...I knew Scott was going to save you...I just knew"

Charm took a sip, then spoke "Soo that was all"

Rache Stood before her "Make Changes...But just know that the ones that have disadvantages, would surely affect you badly...

Look at your phone"

Charm picked up her phone which was in her bag. Putting it on she saw that Scott had sent her a Chat.

"Hi Charm...can I talk to you...I need someone to talk to".

Charm a bit Worried stared at Rache, who Nodded.....

She punched the words slowly, taking a deep breath just to make sure, her mind and heart stayed positive.

"Scott...what's wrong?"
