Chapter 13

I was wrong.

I was so very wrong.

Vivian brought in a couple of boxes at first, and then a couple of servants entered with more. Then even more of them entered in groups. Each one had a mountain of boxes.

I watch with wide incredulous eyes as they continue to march in with more and more boxes, each one just as extravagantly wrapped as those before.

"Milady we have brought them as you've requested."

Soon there was a whole *mountain* of boxes in front of me.

I'm glad I've grabbed a fan to hide my gaping mouth behind, I'm sure my wide-open eyes are enough to express my shaken state.

The amount of gifts she receives from her father alone is practically half the size of how much I receive on my birthday! And this is from just two months.

What's more, some of these are even unopened.

"… This is in two months?"

"Shall we bring more?" A nervous servant asks.

"N-no! This is plenty!" I insist.

Really.

It's *Really* Plenty.
