(Alexander’s POV)
I stood at her bedroom doorway, leaning against the doorpost, watching as she slept. Her dark hair was splayed out on the pillow and contrasted against the pure white. She mumbled something in her sleep and turned so that her face was facing the window. Her arm hung over the edge and part of her foot stuck out from the blanket. I wanted to get a closer look so I moved closer but I stopped abruptly when she rubbed her hand over her eyes and sat up.
“What are you doing here?” she asked, her voice husky and raspy.
“Well last night I learned that there isn’t a lot that I know about you, so I figured that today we could take the opportunity to get to know each other.”
Reagan frowned and rubbed her nose, “As fun as that sounds,” she said, a hint of sarcasm in her voice, “I’ve got class today so I can’t as you say, hang out with you today.”
“Ah yes, well no need to worry about attending class today, I have already taken care of that little matter.”
