Chapter 42: Goodbye

(Victoria’s POV)

“If you truly love Alexander you’ll let him go,” I told her.

Reagan lifted the cup to her lips, before setting it down gently on the table, “And you love Alexander too don’t you.”

Now it was my turn to be the one with nothing to say, Reagan seemed to catch up on that because she smirked, “It’s been obvious since the first time we met, especially after that little threatening speech you gave me that one time and when I caught you kissing him.”

“Then you must be aware of our past. It must be hard, to be here in the same place as me, sitting across from me.”

Reagan nodded, “It is hard, I’m going crazy because I have to be in the same place as you and sit across from you. I’m angry and jealous that you of all people have been with Alexander. But at the same time, I know that Alexander will never be shaken by the likes of you.”

“What?! How dare you say something like that to me?!”
