Emperor Gaozong, a handsome man who was fairly tall with a good body build had a pair of fairly large and bright lively eyes, his face was round that it ended in a double chin which was clean shaven and he looked calm and yet his aura demanded respect
He settled on the dragon throne and there underneath his foot there was a beautiful golden footstool at which he laid his feet to rest while facing his Courtiers in the Taiji Palace.
As he crouched with his right hand firm on his right knee the twelve beaded crown adorned his head as well with the golden designs of a dragon and s silver pin that was supporting it through his hair.
Kim Chunchu dressed in his very best robes walked through the doors of Taiji Palace and there he halted right in the middle in front of the young and charmingly handsome Emperor.
"Your Majesty." He said fluently in Chinese as he bowed his head with Geumyang who was possessing the golden scroll that Queen Jindeok had handed over to Kim Chunchu.
"At ease." Emperor Gaozong said and Chunchu holding up his clothes he stood up and bowed his head gently.
"Thank you so much Your Majesty." he Said calmly.
"Tell me, what is it that brings you to this our country?" Emperor Gaozong asked.
"May His Majesty live forever, I carry with myself the greetings from Her Majesty our Female King of Shilla who wants to congratulate Your Majesty upon his ascension to the throne and she shows her utmost sincerity and genuine allegiance to Tang through us." Kim Chunchu replied as he bowed his head.
"Other nations seem most reluctant to send envoys and emissaries along with diplomats yet Shilla is the first, dwelling not so far from here at the beautiful Eastern peninsula to send her humble greetings." Emperor Gaozong said.
"Her Majesty our Female King is indebted to the support that your father the Late Emperor gave Shilla and calmed down her most pressing enemies, to continue in a mould and honour of respect to his will through which Your Majesty by the Mandate of Heaven has been born she wishes to advocate for very strong ties between Tang and Shilla as it was before." Kim Chunchu replied.
"Her sincerity moves me." Emperor Gaozong remarked.
"She's honoured to present to you a masterpiece of her own which she thinks to be ideal to Your liking hoping to please you." Kim Chunchu said as he turned to Geumyang and taking the scroll from his hands he went down onto his knees and then he offered it to The Emperor.
The Emperor's Eunuch descended the stairs of the dragon throne and taking the scroll into his hands he moved it right to where the Emperor Gaozong himself was seated.
He unfolded it and as he looked through it he smiled.
"When other nations present themselves with gifts and minerals of gold and silver, ornaments for all the ladies of Tang within the Imperial harem Your Majesty most sincerely presents me with an art that is far more enduring than any of these treasures can last." Emperor Gaozong remarked.
"From Her Majesty to you Great Emperor, before I left I was told to pass on the message that what is more enduring than these treasures is the art of sharing knowledge, passing it on and keeping it for the future Generations to come." Kim Chunchu said.
"Let this art of mine be shared with my Courtiers today and let it be something for the scholars of the Great Tang coming from all corners to learn." Emperor Gaozong said as he handed over the scroll to his Eunuch who taking it into his possesion he stood in front of everyone and he started to read out loud it's contents.
'HOW HIGH THE SUN RISES, HOW BRIGHT THE MOON ENLIGHTENS THE NIGHT,
HOW HONOURABLE, HOW LOVELY THE FIELDS ATE AS THEIR FLOWERS BLOSSOM WITH ELEGANCE,
LIFE RENEWED, REVERS FLOWING WITH LIFE GIVING WATER
AT THE FINEST OF THE MORNING HORIZON, THE BAY TO THE SOUTHWEST I BEHOLD THE EASTERN PEACE.
HOW REMARKABLE, INCOMPARABLE IS THE LAND WHOSE CITY IS MADE OF GOLD,
THE SPRING OF DIAMONDS AND THE ROADS OF LINEN, SILK AND OF PURE SATIN,
ALAS THE SHIELD THAT STANDS STRONG A REFUGE TO THE DESTITUTE SO MANY,
THERE LIES CHÁNG'AN THE HUMBLE ABODE OF THE EASTERN SEA WIND.
FATHER OF GREATNESS KING OF KINGS,
PEACE HAS GUARDED THY KINGDOM, THY BENEVOLENCE GIVEN TO HIS BROTHERS HOPE,
MERCIES SO ETERNAL, PASSION UNDENIED AND GRACE SO MAGNIFICENT,
THE STANDARD OF THE DRAGON CROWN MAINTAINED IS BORN OF NO SINNER BUT THE GREATEST SAGE.
THEREIN LIES THE CITY SO PEACEFUL AND THE NATION SO STRONG,
WHOSE MIGHT IS LIKE THE SOUND OF THUNDER AND WHOSE ROAR IS LIKE THAT OF THE STORM,
HEAVEN'S MOST HUMBLE BIDDING AND THE SON OF ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS,
THERE UPON THE THRONE SEATED IS THE BEJEWELLED HEAVENLY CHILD.'
The Courtiers themselves awed the Great Emperor Gaozong where he was seated he smiled.
"I can tell that your Majesty is in deed fluent in her language and I can perhaps even firmly commend her for having done a very distinguished job than most of our scholars here ever have." He said.
"Thank you Your Majesty." Kim Chunchu said.
"I understand now what a wonderful art it is that she possesses as I have heard that Her Majesty there dwells in a very peaceful kingdom." Emperor Gaozong Said.
"All thanks to the efforts of His Late Majesty the Great Emperor of Tang, had it not been for his great kindness, Shilla would have faced extinction at the hands of her enemies." Kim Chunchu Said.
"I am most pleased with Her Majesty and she has made the best effort that has uplifted my mood for the day." Emperor Gaozong said.
"We are most welcome on her behalf Your Majesty." Kim Chunchu said.
"Send good word to Her Majesty and tell her that we as the Great Tang recognize her unwavering loyalty we'll most certainly lend a hand when she needs it and we'll be there to answer when she calls for it." Emperor Gaozong said.
"Thank you Your Majesty." Kim Chunchu and Geumyang said with a smile on their faces as they bowed their heads while they slowly withdrew from Taiji Palace until they had stepped outside.
Queen Jindeok was seated in her Chambers when Sangdaedeung Alcheon walked in.
"Your Majesty." He said as he bowed his head.
"What is it?" Queen Jindeok asked.
"Kim Chunchu has returned." Sangdaedeung Alcheon replied.
"Please bring him to me." Queen Jindeok said to Gopheung Rang who was standing nearby.
"Yes Your Majesty." Gopheung replied as he walked out of the room and he returned later with Chunchu and Geumyang.
"Your Majesty." They both said as they bowed their heads to her.
"Rise up." Queen Jindeok said.
"Thank you." They replied in unison.
"How was the mission that we sent you for?" Queen Jindeok asked.
"It was successful Your Majesty." Kim Chunchu replied.
The Queen smiled.
"Tell me how pleased was the Emperor?" Queen Jindeok asked.
"His Majesty was most pleased on that day Your Majesty, the content and the very words that made up the poem so fluently written in their own language left him and the Courtiers awed and they gave you so much praise." Kim Chunchu replied.
"As I had expected, the New Tang Emperor has a very soft spot in his heart." Queen Jindeok remarked.
"In violation I don't expect Paekche and Gorguryeo to be in the position of paying any tribute at the time." Sangdaedeung Alcheon said.
"Does the Great Tang have our backs?" Queen Jindeok asked.
"His Majesty has vowed to me and he has said that the Great Tang recognizes Your Majesty's unwavering loyalty she'll most certainly lend a hand when Shilla needs it and she'll be there to answer when we calls for it." Kim Chunchu replied.
We can count ourselves successful for having initiated a friendly relationship with the Tang Emperor." Queen Jindeok said.
"Your Majesty, that having succeeded what are we going to do next?" Sangdaedeung Alcheon asked.
"Don't worry that much about it, just tell me whether Mitasa Temple has been completed." Queen Jindeok replied.
"Your Majesty, it is all ready." Sangdaedeung Alcheon replied.
"How long has it been?" Queen Jindeok asked.
"A very long while Your Majesty." Sangdaedeung Alcheon replied.
"We are going to bring down heaven to Shilla." Queen Jindeok replied.
"Your Majesty, what have you in mind?" Kim Chunchu Asked.
"I want all Courtiers to gather with me at Mountain Gaseopsan." Queen Jindeok replied.
"Right away Your Majesty." They all said in unison as they bowed their heads and they walked out of her Chambers leaving her standing there alone while she smiled at herself.
"Shilla." The Queen said to herself, "Here is your beginning." She added so firmly.
Very many of the Courtiers had gathered along with the people from nearly every corner of the kingdom.
The Buddhist Priests and monks had made a pilgrimage and at last they stood on the sacred grounds of Mt. Gaseopsan as they waited at the entrance of the newly constructed Mitasa Temple.
Waiting a short while as the noon hour approached, the Queen's Palanquin was spotted in a Procession that ascended the slopes being led by another sect of Buddhist monks that were dressed in saffron robes.
The procession halted while the Queen's Golden Palanquin was opened.
Along with Damhyeong who was stationed by her right side to guard her and Gopheung Rang, the Queen emerged from the Palanquin's shelter into the site of the people.
She was dressed in a very fine golden dress that was decorated with beautiful floral designs and was sewn together with some satin attached to it.
The Queen walked up to the place where a Buddhist Monks stood with a small Jade tablet that was placed on a golden tray.
She picked it up as she smiled gently while she looked at the entrance that was adorned with very many beautiful flowers.
As she went further and further ahead the monks led the way into the Courtyard and there as she stood in front of the magnificent talk building, she stared at it with so much marvel.
"At last, the eyes of heaven are on me." Queen Jindeok said, "My name has sunk deeper into this soil it shall never suffice out of it.
On this very place I rest the foundation, my foundation of Uniting all the three Kingdoms of the Samhan." She added as she bowed her head at the golden Buddha inside that could be seen all the way from the compound.
She closed her eyes in prayer along with everyone else behind her who were burning incense sticks and there she recalled the words that Queen Seondeok had told her on her death bed.
"Your Majesty, I'm not as generous and I'm not as benevolent as you are, and neither am I as graceful, I also aren't as smart." She'd said.
"With me Shilla had a smart Female King." Queen Seondeok had replied, "But staring at you right now I am more than certain that it isn't a very smart female King that she needs anymore." the Queen had added
"Which type of King does Shilla need?" She'd asked.
"Shilla needs a warrior one." Queen Seondeok had replied to her before she'd breathed her last and her hand had dropped dead in front of her eyes.
The memory itself was still fresh in her eyes when she recalled the last words that Bidam had told her.
"IN ITS TWENTIETH GENERATION A UNIFIED SHILLA SHALL FALL AT THE HANDS OF A FEMALE RULER JIN." Bidam had cursed while she recalled at the same time another group of words.
"The Female Ruler Jin is nonsense and I declare that from this day onwards once the rebels have been defeated my coronation shall be held but I won't have to wait until then as I have succeeded Her Majesty in front of Her coffin I shall be known in the hearts of people and in the pages of history as QUEEN JINDEOK." She'd said with her own lips.
"You are brave and you are strong, you are unlike any other woman that I have ever seen Seungman.
It is yourself that is most compassionate to the people and at the same time you are very shrewd which is what it takes Sometimes to be a ruler." Queen Seondeok had praised her.
"What would be of Shilla Your Majesty without you?" She'd asked.
"So much more, Seungman, all that we ever tried to do in our lives was to prove to the world that we too could be as capable as all the other men in it." Queen Seondeok had replied that she opened her eyes at last contented while she looked at the heavens.
The chanting had ended.
"Shilla has been consecrated, Shilla has been cleansed, at last the will of heaven is with us." She added as she turned around and placing the Jade tablet on the golden tray she looked at everyone else who bowed down their heads to her.
"From this point onwards there is no enemy that is going to come closer to our land, heaven itself has revealed to me that on this very day our enemies stand no chance against us.
I have been born of it and I am going to bring this our Heavenly Kingdom the glory that our ancestors had so deeply dreamt of, I shall bring you all the wealth that our children in time to come shall share.
Here on this sacred mountain of Gaseopsan heaven has given us the assurance of it's good grace and benevolence, here before you I have opened a brand new Shilla that shall forever remain unchallenged for ages and Generations to come." Queen Jindeok said.
"Long Live Your Majesty." Everyone said as they went down onto their knees and they bowed their heads to her.
Queen Jindeok and the rest of the Courtiers gathered in the throne room while Sangdaedeung Alcheon walked up to her and he bowed his head.
"Your Majesty." He said as he bowed his head.
"At ease." Queen Jindeok said and Sangdaedeung Alcheon complied.
"Where is Yushin Rang?" She asked.
The doors of the throne room were flung open and at once Yushin Rang walked in and stopped right in front of the Queen.
"Your Majesty." He said while bowing his head.
"What took you so long?" Queen Jindeok asked.
"I was still looking at some of the weapons that wrte being manufactured and the final batch of them was delayed." Yushin Rang replied
"Take with yourself a group of twenty five thousand soldiers and station yourselves along the border at Sangju." Queen Jindeok replied.
"Yes Your Majesty." Yushin Rang replied as he bowed his head.
"What's the meaning of this Your Majesty?" Kim Chunchu asked.
"As it is that Paekche is weak at the moment I have received word from our spies that their military is not as strong as it used to be.
Following the campaign to capture our Western Fortresses and those of Sokham twelve years ago they haven't recovered from this crisis and the nation is in so much political turmoil inwardly as there is great division between the aristocratic families." Queen Jindeok replied, "My intention is to take back the lands that we had lost." Queen Jindeok replied.
"Your Majesty, what about the military provisions?" Kim Seohyeon asked.
"During the reign of Queen Seondeok when agriculture fluorished I was able to expand the food reserves over these past years, expanding the pumju tax collection system has enabled this government of ours to curb the problems of corruption and we have accumulated wealth.
Our Foreign policy which I have initiated has fluorished and I have already prepared the Royal Treasury and everything in advance while fortifying our castles and palaces along with the Fortresses on the Western boarder." Queen Jindeok replied.
"If there is anything of concern the military has been prepared the support of Tang consolidated and with calamity reigning over the realm of Paekche we can fight a war for fifty years we have to weaken her before she becomes strong enough." Queen Jindeok added.
"I agree with Your Majesty, if there is a time that we should attack then the best moment is now while Gorguryeo itself is still recovering from the damages that were brought about by Tang during the reign of Emperor Taizong she can't possibly lend Paekche a hand so in the end Paekche is in a one man war." Sangdaedeung Alcheon remarked.
"Everything has been prepared and the Hwarang themselves are very ready to keep fighting if they have to until the last of their final breaths." Yushin's Rang said.
"I believe that now would be a very strong time to show our prowess to Tang which would further encourage a future alliance against the other two Kingdoms as Tang can not support us with troops when we might need them unless we show that we too are capable and worthy of their support." Queen Jindeok said.
"Your Majesty has said that everything is ready then I too believe that now is the very best time to launch our campaign as well to take back the lands and the castles that King Uija has robbed of us." Kim Yongsu said.
"I believe that we have come to a very good understanding but there is something that is going to be much more important this time around." Queen Jindeok said.
"What is it Your Majesty?" Kim Yongchun asked.
"This time around as the female King of Shilla, I shall engage myself in this war and lead in commanding it." Queen Jindeok said.
"Your Majesty, your safety is key, you must first consider the welfare of the state." Sangdaedeung Alcheon remarked.
"You are all well aware of my military prowess, I believe that you would do well to know my capabilities when it comes to combat." Queen Jindeok said.
"But Your Majesty hasn't been to war in a long time." Kim Yushin said.
"Regardless of the situation, whether I should die in the war I shall have played my part in the Unification of the three Kingdoms." Queen Jindeok said.
"Please reconsider Your Majesty." The Courtiers said as they pleaded with her while bowing their heads.
"Only with their King can the people feel more empowered to fight the war as it was with King Uija of Paekche twelve years ago.
I too can not neglect that action and this time around I shall have motivated all those men and children to fight so hard and devote their all for this country.
I do not wish history to just look at me and think of me to have been a wise woman alone, Shilla has had a wise Female King and this time I am determined to give it a warrior one hence....." Queen Jindeok said. "Regardless of what you tell me I won't change my mind." She added as she stood up from where she was seated on the throne and she walked down the aisle leaving the Courtiers a little bit surprised by her reaction.
"Your Majesty." Alcheon Rang said as he looked at Queen Jindeok who was seated in her Chambers.
"Whatever you do Alcheon, I have already made up my mind." Queen Jindeok replied.
"What Your Majesty is doing is right but you must consider your welfare first before the welfare of others." Haesul Rang remarked.
"I have put all that into consideration but above all things it is the blood of the great King Jinheung that flows through my veins and also the blood of my father that can not suppress the warrior that is within me." Queen Jindeok replied.
"Your Majesty, I gave Her Late Majesty my word and my promise that I would protect you." Yushin Rang said.
"You also gave her late Majesty your word that you would never turn your back onto her dream and that you would help her achieve it." Queen Jindeok replied.
Yushin Rang seemed to recall his promise immediately while Queen Jindeok looked at all of them.
"In helping me you are helping all those that preceded me and in so doing you are also helping the forefathers that had that great dream for this our Country." Queen Jindeok said.
"I am no different from any one of them and I shall continue in their very mould without holding myself back even a little besides I want it to be clear to the eyes of King Uija of Paekche that because I am a woman I am not the calamity of Shilla but instead the calamity of Paekche." Queen Jindeok added.
"Your Majesty." Damhyeong said.
"I am not asking you to stand with me, rather, I am asking you to stand with my forefathers and all those men that have up everything that they had to see to the fulfilment of this most ordurous cause." Queen Jindeok said.
The others seemed to be understanding her.
"Your Majesty, if this really is your calling then you can count me in to fight by your side." Haesul Rang said.
"We have come so far Your Majesty and we have grown up together so how would I face Uncle Moo Mak on the other side when I had promised not only yourself and him but also me that I would protect you wherever you'd be and I'd follow wherever you'd go?" Damhyeong asked.
"You are the King of this country and I promised myself to be your refuge and to also help you govern to render the weight of the Crown on your head bearable I am also coming." Alcheon Rang said.
"All in all it is a cause that we share Your Majesty and just as you are most loyal so am I." Yushin Rang said.
"Thank you." Queen Jindeok said.
"But Your Majesty, do you intend on declaring war on Paekche?" Sangdaedeung Alcheon asked, "Because they could use it as an excuse to threaten our alliance with the Great Tang." He added.
"I intend to declare war on Paekche but diplomatically as a means of Shilla's retaliation." Queen Jindeok asked.
"Your Majesty, perhaps is it Your intention to provoke Paekche?" Yushin Rang asked.
"What do you think the twenty five thousand troops that are stationed at Sangju are for?" Queen Jindeok asked.
There's ten thousand in Jeongcheon County and another five thousand that are loitering along the border and I am certain that that being the case when the Paekcheans hear about it they won't just sit down idly but they themselves shall also engage immediately to surprise our forces in an attack.
"How sure can you be Your Majesty?" Haesul Rang asked.
"I already have a spy that is doing his job just right." Queen Jindeok replied as he smiled ghastly.
King Uija was seated in his Courtroom and all the Courtiers looked up at him.
Suddenly, the doors of the throne room were opened and a soldier walked in.
"Your Majesty." He said as he went down onto his knees that everyone who was inside turned around and looked at him.
"How dare you enter in here uninvited?" General Pocheon asked.
"Pardon me Your Majesty but I carry with myself very important news." The man replied.
The Royal guards walked in and they held him up as they were preparing to drag him out.
"Please hear me out Your Majesty." The man cried as he was lifted off his knees and was being dragged away.
"Halt." King Uija said and the Royal guards complied while the soldier walked up in front of the King and he went down onto his knees immediately.
"Your Majesty." He said as he bowed his head.
"You look so desperate so there must be something wrong." King Uija said.
"Your Majesty, it is war." The man replied.
"What is war?" King Uija asked.
"Shilla." The man replied and at once the King stood up from. where he was seated.
"What do you mean Shilla?" King Uija asked.
The man caught into his clothes and out of them he pulled out a cream piece of paper which he presented to the King.
The King's Eunuch descended towards the soldier and taking the piece of paper he handed it over to the King who opened it.
"What is this?" King Uija asked.
"Your Majesty, I am a scout and there's tens of thousands of Shilla soldiers that are positioning themselves at the border of Shilla facing us." The soldier replied.
King Uija looked at the paper which was a rough sketch map.
"According to the numbers here you are estimating how many?" King Uija asked.
"About fifty thousand soldiers Your Majesty." The man replied.
The Courtiers were so shocked that they shrieked.
"This has to be something very big Your Majesty." General Gyebaek said.
"Hardly had he spoken when another low ranking minister walked into the facility.
"Your Majesty he said as he went onto his knees while the soldier who was already inside looked to the side which all the other Courtiers barely noticed.
"What is it?" King Uija asked.
"Your Majesty, I have received word from the spies in Seoraebeol." the minister replied.
"What is it?" King Uija asked.
"Your Majesty, a declaration was passed in Seoraebeol yesterday by Her Majesty their Queen and in it they are preparing and an army of twenty thousand shall be departing from Seoraebeol today at noon and headed towards Sangju led by the Queen herself." The minister replied as he bowed his head.
"This is a declaration of war." General Gyebaek said.
"Should I fear a woman?" King Uija asked.
"Your Majesty, if I am not mistaken then I must be well acquainted with that woman." General Gyebaek said, "it's been a while since we fought but I remember that her skill was brilliant so if I am not mistaken then it must be the one that they call the white warrior." He added.
"There really is such a warrior woman in Shilla?" King Uija asked.
"It seems so Your Majesty." General Pocheon Said.
"What more did those spies say?" King Uija asked.
"About a week before Her Majesty their Queen inaugurated a temple whose construction had been completed and while she spoke to the people she promised them that they were going to acquire the lands that were lost to you twelve years ago." The minister replied.
"So this is a very clear declaration of war." King Uija said
"We mustn't be hasty Your Majesty." Honourable Songchung finally spoke up.
"Then are you suggesting that we just sit by and watch while they prepare their own invasion on our lands?" General Pocheon asked.
"If we lose the Western territory that we Conquered to Shilla then they shall be empowered to march down to Sabi and take ths Capital." King Uija said.
"The loss of Sokham Your Majesty had a toll on is while we on the other hand exhausted so much wealth and food going for that campaign at the time.
We are weak economically that had we chosen to launch a scorched Earth policy then we would be cutting off our own arms and legs and Shilla will still gain one way or another at the expense of us weakening." Honourable Songchung replied.
"I am a warrior, I have the blood of King Songmyong, how can I forget my forefather that was slain by King Jinheung of Shilla, no, the feud between us that has been sworn is smeared with blood." King Uija said.
"Your Majesty, Shilla at the moment has the support of Tang, on top of that when I think about our current status my heart bleeds heavily because it is our grandsons and granddaughters that ate going to pay for the price." Honourable Songchung replied.
"So what do you propose, that we surrender our territory which I devoted my everything for?" King Uija asked.
"Your Majesty, war is not a solution at the moment we should rather consider diplomacy and coming into an agreement with Shilla.
If we could sit at a round table and negotiate we can settle issues under the policy of give and take." Honourable Songchung said.
The King pointed at him.
"What happened to Uija the Great warlord of Paekche, what happened to the King who Conquered the lands of the West and reduced Shilla an effort that the three Kings who preceded me failed?" King Uija asked. "You are asking me to surrender to the demands of a woman and turn this our very great country into a laughing stock?" He added.
"Your Majesty, we must first survive now before we can fight later." Honourable Songchung said.
"Regardless of the situation I don't wish to be the Great Warlord who faced everything else and then feared a woman, if I defeated Shilla before under the reign of Deokman then I shall defeat it once again under the reign of this second female King." King Uija replied.
"Please Your Majesty, defend the Nation." A few other Courtiers said as they bowed their heads to the King.
"If the Queen of Shilla thinks that she can advance to our lands and take them then she is mistaken because as I have taken it back before and consolidated it as my own then I won't give it up without a fight." King Uija said.
"Thank you so much Your Majesty." The Courtiers said while a few looking rather uncertain couldn't oppose they followed the faction that appeased the King.
"Prepare thirty thousand troops and with immediate effect, at noon we march to the Western Frontier." King Uija ordered as he stepped down from the throne and he walked out of the throne room while the Courtiers followed him a short while later.
The soldier who had been in the throne room walked out of the palace as he slowly approached a nearby alley that was stationed right nearby.
There in a cage there was a small white carrier pigeon which he pulled out and then he tied a small piece of paper to it's leg.
He released it and the pigeon flew all the way across the country.
Queen Jindeok and her party stood at the balcony of her Chambers while she looked at the clear blue skies.
"Your Majesty, we've been waiting here for an hour already, what is it that you want from here?" Damhyeong asked.
At that moment the Queen saw a white pigeon which descended right where she was standing that she caught it and she pulled a small piece of paper from the right leg.
She unfolded it and as her eyes perused through the contents, she smiled as she folded it.
"What is it Your Majesty?" Yushin Rang asked.
"We can now move." Queen Jindeok said.
"Alright Your Majesty." Sangdaedeung Alcheon said, "After all as I had expected the King of Paekche is coming with an army of thirty thousand soldiers to us." Queen Jindeok added as she smiled at herself ghastly.
