CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO ~Chanel

"Shall we go shopping for the film festival?" Shiv asks me.

I sigh, exhaustedly. "I don't know, Shiv. I'm the least bit excited for this year's festival and I do not know why."

"That is mainly because of your beef with the girls, don't you think? Once we go shopping, you'd see how good you'll feel. Shopping is, Afterall, your favorite sport."

Okay, she's bought me on it. Shopping might be the solution to my bad mood. I have been avoiding Tristan since I told him about Derek, and I don't know why I have been doing that. It makes me sad we haven't spoken for days, especially since it is my fault. I miss him…

"Fine. You can drop the message on the group chat for us to meet at our boutique in the French quarters. But if no one comes, you do not get to blame me because I have tried my best."

She laughs at me. "Sure thing, miss Chanel."
