69. He could relate

The weekend came by in a jiffy. Li Zhilan had taken extra care to buy all the food they would like and arranged a small party for themselves at the place she was staying in.

She had even gone to the airport 30 minutes earlier to show her sincerity because she knew that last times issue was not over yet.

The last time they border the plane to come had been the time when she was in a complete mess after loosing the locket. But it hadn't taken even half a day for it to be found and so by the time they landed, she had recovered quite a lot. It was then that she made a call to have their place return the moment they landed and it went accordingly. The plane didn't even stop before it flew back. This led to them feeling angry because she didn't even let them meet her before sending them back. And from that day onwards, they called every day at 5 p.m but didn't speak a word. They only called to check whether she was alright or not.

That was why she took special care about today and made plans way before so that nothing would go wrong. But the most important thing to do before she implemented her plans would be to pacify them.

After waiting for 30 minutes, the first plane landed. People flooded the gate within minutes and everyone was waiting for someone of their own, with or without boards with the person's name.

After waiting for quite sometime, finally Ashton's blonde hair peeped out among the crowd.

''Ash!'' Li Zhilan waved her hands up as high as she could while tiptoeing her foot to attain maximum height.

Seeing the smiling girl Ashton couldn't help but let out a happy smile before turning his facial expression back to that of an annoyed one but one couldn't miss the happy and helpless glint in his eyes. After engulfing eachother in a hug the two waited for the next flights.

The final flight was boarded by Austin and when he came out he saw that the other four were happily chatting and laughing with eachother. He had doubted it but when he thought about how determined those three sounded on the phone about ignoring Li Zhilan for as much as they could, he had thought that it would last atleast half a day. He was so worried that he would fail them and forgive Li Zhilan but the scenario was what he expected to see after half a day. What 'never forgive without a lesson'? What 'we would ignore her'?

They were already deep in her charms.

When the group of monkeys saw that the last person had arrived, the greeted eachother like always.

''Austin!'' The first one to call out was Li Zhilan, just like she did with Ashton, just like she does everytime.

''Missed me?'' And finally Austin knew how she made it. The way she smiled and spoke made him want to hug her immensely. He had missed her. They had never been apart for so long ever. This was the first time and the nostalgia made him want to hug her to his hearts content.

How could he be mad at such a person who would smile so brightly without any contaminations. How could he bear to let that smile leave her? She was the dearest to him, his sweet sweet Zhizhi.

He clearly understood that the others were also melted by that smile. Those bright eyes. That carefree demeanor. He could clearly understand because he could relate.
