177. Invader in Mr Z's house

''I'm sorry Mr. Z. It's my fault. I shouldn't have randomly trusted someone just because she said so. I'm very sorry Mr. Z. I'll make sure to make it up to you when I return back to country M.'' Charles said in a respectful manner. He needed Mr Z's help in contacting Serenity because only that way could he convince her to help him in his next movie. The movie he had been saving for years. The movie, whose main female lead was written based on her, the racing Goddess. He wanted to get some pointers from her so as to improve the script he already thought was very good.

On top of that, he didn't really like Mr Z. Charles found him overbearing and scheming. He doesn't like the vibe he gets from Mr Z. But what could he do? Mr Z was the only person he could get into contact with after trying for months and that too, was accidental. Otherwise, he had no way to come into contact with someone else so he had to suck up to Mr Z. Therefore, when he had to apologize to Mr Z, he was so very pissed. He really shouldn't trust a person he just met. He learned his lesson. But in all these years, this is the first time he judged a person wrong. His very first misjudgement. So he didn't really blame Li Zhilan as much as someone else would if they were in his shoes.

''Forget it. I now don't think you were sincere when you requested to feature Serenity in your next project. I have to think it through again. Till then BANG BANG BANG BANG...'' A series of harsh knocking could be heard on the other end of the call startling everyone listening to the call conversation. Only Li Zhilan seemed unfrazed as a cunning smile settled on her face.

Mr. Z seemed angry hearing the loud banging on the door.

He left his phone on the table and went forward to open the door.

''What the heck? Who is it? Are you trying to knock the door down or what?'' Mr Z's voice could be heard as he stormed his way towards the door.

On the other end, everyone was glued to the screen trying to see through it what was happening. Charles even called someone to arleart the police about it so that Mr Z's safety could be ensured even if it's late.

They could hear some sounds of Mr Z struggling and shouting in fear. After about a minute or so, even the low sounds very gone. That moment of silence wasn't only at Mr Z's place. That silence had also enveloped the entire studio. Everyone seemed worried about the safety of Mr Z. Charles called his friend again and again to urge him to urge the police. It seemed as if everything was at a deadlock. They weren't there with Mr Z to help him but they were watching or more like listening to what was happening. At this moment, at the door of Mr Z's room that he was previously in on the call, a tall man arrived.
