Chapter Two

"You know what I like about your mom? It is her great use of vocabulary and the way she drawls her words, it's superb," Jade said as they walk into the gym.

"Only you would call her English superb when you can't even stand each other."

"You know, you're lucky you have both a dad and a mom, not all of us are that lucky." Jade said and Zara scoffs.

"There's nothing great about that especially when your mom don't care and only thinks about the next colour of nail polish she wants to try on." Zara replied.

"Weird as it sounds, I love her style and moreover I think she loves you a lot, in her own way and I think it's worrisome that you don't feel it."

My mum loves nothing other than traveling and shopping. Zara thought. "Well, we are here for some exercise, we should drop this topic and do what we came here for." Zara said as they walked into the gym.

Walking into the gym, Jade quickly went to the treadmill and powered it on and started walking on it while Zara picked the dumbbell.

After a few hours if exercising, Jade suddenly stopped the treadmill and went for her face towel, Zara too stop what she was doing.

"You know what? I think I'm hungry that I'll eat a whale right now, let's go and freshen up, I need food." Zara instantly said as pick up her water bottle. Jade smirked, she knows Zara well and the topic of being hungry is a ploy to avoid more talks about she and her mother's issues since she knew Jade might not have dropped the topic yet.

"Me too, I'm also furbished." replied Jade.

Being a VIP and props that comes with it, they both have their own private bathrooms. They both walk to the bathroom and got a quick bath and they both changed into a denim trouser and tops. The only difference was the colours of the tops. Zara wore a lemon green top while Jade wore a yellow top. They walk out the bathroom laughing at their own jokes. Zara wears her baseball cap and hung her rack sack on her back. With no make-up, they both look flawless and naturally beautiful.

At the cafeteria, they both went to the counter and ordered for two beef burger, a strawberry juice for Zara and a soda for Jade. Zara paid and they both took their trays to table and quietly sat down to eat. They eat slowly and quietly. After eating, they both left the tray there and walked out.

Jade takes the wheel again but this time she rides faster and Zara loved it as her body receives a huge mass of air. Jade slows when she felt her phone was ringing but after confirming it, she did not stop to pick it up but kept on riding.

"Won't you pick your call?" Zara asked.

"I will when I get to your house." Jade said and Zara wonder if the caller is not important. She knows Jade a lot but they were so different were Jade is active and talks a lot, Zara is quieter and analytical. Zara would have stop to pick the call if it was her but Jade always says, "Get to your destination first before you meet stumbling brick on the way."

Jade always smiles at that and shakes her head.
