"Sou…"
I heard a worried voice call me out. I turned to the voice.
"Ah, Aunt Celina… I am sorry for the trouble I caused."
"No… umm, are you okay?"
Her voice was tender and gently like she was talking to her own kid.
"Yes… I think."
In truth, I was not okay at all. My heart was in flames and my thoughts were not in their right place at the moment. With each step, I felt my heart grow heavier and my mind lacking vividness.
I was thinking about killing someone I cared for.
"... Please don't let today's event get to you."
"Yes, I will keep that in mind."
Though I was not sure if I would be able to, I didn't voice those words. It would only account for increasing my troubles.
"... then I will take my leave."
"Yes…"
It was a short exchange of words, but still, I felt bitter as I lied through my teeth.
I walked off, my head hanging downwards.
"Sou."
