Arnold held his sword tightly and stood in a defensive position.
"Tch!" he clicked his tongue and thought, 'And I thought coming here at night was a nice plan.'
"He really came," one of the soldiers uttered.
'So they had already expected that I might come, huh?'
"But he is just a small kid," another soldier remarked.
"I know, right?" He snorted. "I don't know why Boris was so afraid of him."
"Be careful, and don't underestimate the enemy just because he is a kid," the leader of the team asserted.
The knight Boris— who betrayed the king and took over the throne a month ago, wanted to get rid of the prince— Arnold. He had made various search parties for all the towns of the kingdom to find Arnold.
He had also made sure to keep the palace's defense perfect for defending himself from any upcoming attacks.
The soldiers who refused to obey him were killed, and those who betrayed the king were also killed.
