Chapter 23

Julis still can't believe how much Alex stats went up.

She was still in shock after he showed his stats, and they were already walking towards the Academy.

Her boyfriend already was approaching the limits of Level 1!

But, what truly mind boggled her was the fact that he reached the point where he created Electromancy skill on his own!

That just baffled her to no end, just how much his control increased with electricity?

After feeding him lots of proteins and Caffeine he was ready for the day, or she hopes that he is.

As they arrived at school gates they were greeted by the pair from Student Council, once again Sitri eyes bulged out after she looked at him.

Julis can understand that, after all, she saw the stat sheet and she felt his magic at home.

It was monstrous compared to the pink heads…

"Morning Shitori Kaichou…" Alex lazily greeted the Devil Heiress, Julis elbowed him to behave more appropriately, even if she doesn't care much about the Devil girl, she still cares about giving appropriate respect…

After all, the Sitri can easily make them stay behind after classes to do some menial labour...

"Morning… just how… how, you increased your presence this much!?" She asked while trying to keep her glasses on her nose.

All that from shock…

"Lots of training. As you can see I am still tired even after eight hours of sleep…" The teen said with an easy smile.

Sona didn't buy this time, not at all! The amount of power increase should not be theoretically possible in her eyes.

Unless someone just force-feed him that amount of power!

While his girlfriend just gave him another deadpan look.

The pinkhead is not done with him! Not at all, she will continue to nag him until he can moderate his training.

What's the point of all that training if he will end up half dead the next day?

Too tired even to fight!

" I see. We can talk about this after the classes are over. You will still come to the Student Council office, correct?" The Sitri Heiress asked hopefully.

"Yes, it will be no problem." Alex simply nodded at her question.

While Julis wanted to mention that even if they would not come, the Sitri would probably come to visit them anyway…

"Wonderful, then I will see you two later, the classes starting shortly, please proceed to your classroom." The Devil Heiress motioned to continue walking towards the building.

Alex lazily nodded, while Julis did it stiffly, she took her boyfriend's hand and pulled him towards the Academy.

"His power hand once again increased monstrously," Sona said with disbelieve visible on her face.

"If we are to compare his aura to our, it should be around mid-class to high-class devil." Her 'Queen' said from the side.

"Quite absurd wouldn't you say? He barely had any presence a few days ago." The Heiress said that while shaking her head.

"I am only saying what I am seeing Kaichou," Tsubaki said seriously.

"And I am not doubting your judgement, because I was thinking the same thing, I am just… baffled by his progress."

"So, am I."

Alex was feeling much better, the classes allowed him to rest physically.

While he was resting he checked the schedule and realised that tomorrow will have a PE class…

'This means I will need to focus on getting those common tickets for Scar-minator.'

'Well, I can always do the sign creating thing later…' He hummed to himself.

"You know, I already started to pick up on what your facial expression means," Julis said from his side.

"Oh really?" He turned towards her with a curious smile.

"I do…" She gave him an evil smile." The one you have right mean you are plotting in what to do in that crazy dungeon of yours." She said that while her eyes narrowed on him.

Alex was baffled after hearing that, when in world did she develop such a perception?

A smirk crept to her lips as she saw his expression after.

"So, I was right! You realise that you spend another year or more there! At least when you are here in the real world, you should focus on the present." The girl explained to him.

"I do! I was thinking about PE tomorrow," Alex explained himself to her.

"Oh, you were thinking about your scars…" Julis had an understanding look.

"Any idea what you going to do?" She asked with concern now, that scar will attract a lot of attention, positive and negative.

The teen just sighed and showed the new App on his phone.

"Scar-minator? What with this atrocious naming sense!" The pinhead said with disgust.

Alex deadpanned at her, then he decided to remind her of something.

"Burst to Bloom, Amaryllis? Does it ring any bells, darling?" He asked that with a teasing smile especially when he called her 'darling' it was an amusing reaction.

"W-What's wrong with the names of my Strega abilities!?" The girl said with cheeks with similar colour to her hair.

"Nothing. I am not going tell anyone that you had your chunni moments." Alex shook his head with amusement.

"It's not chunni! My attack are based on flowers! Get over it!" She huffed at him walking slightly faster than him, as they were going to Student Council Office.

"Well, I suppose I will end up back to my chunni days too, once when I hopefully will have a dragon speaking in my head." The teen softly said that to himself.

"Hmm? Did you said something Alex?" Julis asked him while stopping in front of him.

"Nope." He shuck his head in a negative response.

"Anyway, tell me about the new app." The pink head got over her embarrassment and finally asked about the new app.

Few minutes later both of them were in the Student Council room.

Just a few days back or in Alex case at least a year ago they were sitting in the same seats.

In front of them was the Devil Heiress. Sona was not quite ready for this meeting, she was still trying to understand how in world did Alex picked upon them back in that abandoned building!

She would prefer to know more about them! But, that was out of the window, Sitri needs to explain to them about the supernatural and at the same time to make sure that they don't develop some biased view on certain supernatural species.

"Well, we are here! What kind of devil-like offer you going to offer us?" Alex jokingly asked her.

Sona slightly fixed her glasses after hearing that, Julis just looked at him with a deadpan look.

Can't he be more serious? While the same time the girl relax somewhat, his joke helped to ease the tension in the air…

"First, I think I should explain the supernatural world to you two. Since you two know only basics, correct?" The Sitri Heiress asked the two.

Julis and Alex decided to lie on this one and both of them just slowly nodded at her.

"Well, then we shall start from that, my real name is Sona Sitri, and as I said before to Komnenos-san I am Heiress of Sitri Clan, which holds rank of Prince in the underworld." The girl started to explain, while the teen tried to look like he was listening with interest, as he already knows all this and read it multiple times before this whole mess happened to him.

While Julis was listening with interest, as she wanted to compare with the information she got from her boyfriend.

After introducing herself she then explained about the Great War and the Devil Civil War, followed by three factions and the current ceasefire…

"Okay...so, what does being in Japan has to do anything?" Alex asked after Sona finished explaining.

"Isn't Japan territory of Shinto Pantheon? Wouldn't it be better to have devil territory in lands which is closely associated with Christian Pantheon?" He then explained his t question further.

"...This was not up to me to decide Komnenos-san and the territory was rented to us by Shinto Pantheon."

Sona didn't wanted to mention that they were here because of Rias fascination with Japan…

What the Sitri Heiress didn't knew, is that both Julis and Alex already knew the reason.

The only reason the teen asked was to see how much she will withhold, either from embarrassment or other reasons.

"I see. Well, it was an interesting story." He said that with a shrug.

"Now, that I have explained about the supernatural, I would like to offer you two join my peerage." Sitri started to tell them their offer.

"Apart from receiving Devil magic, lifespan in thousand of year's, and many other benefits which comes from being in peerage of Prince rank devil clan."

Sona knows that many people accept that just because of the lifespan.

"You forgot to mention that once one becomes a devil he or she will be part of conflict with Angels and Fallen Angels," Julis said from her side.

"Yeah, Julis. And Sitri Kaichou how does other Pantheons view Devil kind?"

The Student Council President only sighed hearing that, her gut feeling was right about these two, they will be very difficult to persuade to join her.

She even thought about using her sister name in this, but that idea was quickly shot out of the window, the Heiress will lose respect that way.

"Not favourably I suppose, only Norse pantheon is neutral with us," Sona said that after few moments of silence.

"Not that we interact with each other a lot, many mythologies staying in their respectful areas among themselves."

That somewhat made Julis slightly relieved, pity that she has not realised that powerful humans will attract the attention anyway, no matter what.

As Sona was telling from her side of things, after all, no one messes with powerful devils as they usually have the backing of friends or allies and such.

While powerful humans mostly don't have any such thing, even if they do they mostly stay in their factions lands, not wander around into areas of other pantheons or factions.

Such ignorance could mean that they simply don't know which is another indicator that human doesn't have even more powerful backer from the supernatural world.

While Alex hummed in response he was expecting that answer from Sona, pity.

He wanted to learn more about other factions from her after he does not doubt that some sort of butterfly effect happened already.

Because of him, his girlfriend, and most of all because of the overwrite his world with DxD one.

"I see while your offer is not bad, it's not enough for me to accept it, the benefits are great but so are the negatives."

Sona sighed hearing that, she had the feeling that this would happen as well, she had far too little information, and was not able to find out what truly moved Alex.

"Since Alex says no and so will I," Julis said that without much thought.

Alex just looked at her for a second she gave him back a look.

He smiled in turn.

"Pity, but! I won't be surrendering that easily!" Sona decided that she can offer something else.

"Instead I will offer you two to join Student Council, this will help you two when both of you graduate, those extra points will help in the long run and it will be on your diploma."

Both Julis and Alex stiffed for a second, it seems they won't be left alone anyway.

"That's not all, you two could train with my peerage as well, and maybe you two will change your mind, eventually." Sona smiled at that idea, unlike Rias she does trains with her peerage quite often.

"Well, I suppose we can join Student Council." Alex sighed, and perfectly honest he wanted to experience a Japanese version of this.

As he was his class representative back in his old school unlike here, they don't have such governing body.

They only have meetings with student representatives, and if they want an event most if not all things have to go through adults which leaves a bare minimum for student to do.

Meaning that, Adults don't trust students at all back in his old school.
