Chapter 4

After finishing eating their grilled food, they continued to walk through the busy city square.

Once they left it they continued towards the shop district where anyone can buy from raw materials to proper weapons.

By this point, Xiao Tian Long didn't mentioned to Qin Xingxuan that they were still were holding hands.

His destination in this district was a shop which one can consider a general store for inscriptions.

Inscriptions are quite the art, one can substitute material for knowledge, meaning that one if doesn't understand a rune can substitute with a material that can similar effect to a rune.

That means that Xiao Tian Long can use simple material to create a masterpiece thanks to all the experiences he got from the magic cube.

And of course, the powers he got from the book of wishes…

After buying a bunch of Sky Silkworm silk, they left the store.

Where do you want to go next?" He asked the girl next to him.

"Somewhere where we can talk in peace?" She said after thinking for a while, somewhere where they will have to go through that busy square so that she would have a reason to hold his hand again… she didn't say this part out loud.

He nodded at her and started walking towards one of the districts dedicated to the food industry.

The cultivation world takes food quite seriously, at least until you are in realms below Xiantian, as from that realm and above ones doesn't need to eat.

So, when Xiao Tian Long brought Qin Xingxuan to the restaurant the girl wanted to show off her true identity so that they could eat here, but then she realised that she has not brought any of her money…

It was her invitation and even her idea, so she was embarrassed to the point that she wanted to kill herself.

Xiao Tian Long only smiled and pulled her to the room which he rented for this meal, he likes these fancy restaurants which give them so much privacy.

"Don't worry you can pay for next time." He said to her as he took his seat.

Her eyes instantly brightened and the embarrassment slowly disappeared from her face.

"Y-You think we can meet again?" She quickly walked over and took a seat opposite to him.

"Well, that's up to you, having the company of a beautiful girl is something I won't complain about." He said with a smile.

Qin Xingxuan blush returned immediately, she looked at the table instead of him, the girl is very weak against this kind of compliment, or at least when he is the one who is saying them.

"I-I don't mind meeting again sometime later." She said with a voice just above a whisper.

After finishing their meal Tian Long brought her back to zither department where her carriage was.

They exchanged the communication details, this reality has talismans which work similarly to phones, instead of numbers they use inscription symbols.

Now Qin Xingxuan can 'call' him, anytime she wants.

Still, her behaviour somewhat changed after the meal, she was deep in thought.

The girl realised that the whole day she used him, she was the only one who got something out of this, and it didn't sit well with her.

Not at all, it created a gnashing feeling in her stomach, she wants to make this right.

The girl continued to walk towards ger carriage where she saw that her bodyguards were running around like headless chickens…

"Move away girl we are looking for our young Miss!" One of the guards nearly bumped into her but Qin Xingxuan masterfully dodged him.

That moment she realised that she still has her disguise on.

She quickly took it off.

*Gasp*

"Young Miss! We have been looking everywhere for you! Did anything happened? Did someone kidnapped you!?" The guard's reaction made the rest of them gathered around her soon her maids appeared too…

The ravenhaired girl sighed slightly, here we go again…

"No, I am fine, bring me back home, I need to speak to grandfather." Qin Xingxuan ordered firmly, her bodyguards quickly got out of their panic and quickly nodded.

Soon enough she was on her way back to Marshal Quarters.

Once again she could see the city, only this time she saw the sheer difference as everyone knew her status, giving way for her carriage.

It was… boring, she remembered how it was much more exciting walking through the streets when no one knew who she was…

After experiencing that, she now finds this kind of travel boring…

A sigh escaped her lips, Qin Xingxuan decided to think about something else. So, she pulled out the piece of paper she had with Xiao Tian Long inscription on it.

It was beautiful, a master craftsmanship, her fingers brushed past it, that moment she send some of her soul force into it, and felt the incredibly complex inscription.

It was full of intricate symbols and lines which she can't make heads or tails what each of them do! She simply looked at it with amazement.

The more she realised the more she felt respect and awe towards Tian Long!

This piece of paper was invaluable in her eyes! Yet, she saw him giving them away for free!

That moment she started to think that if she is going to ask maybe he will teach her some?

But, the ravenhaired beauty instantly remembered that she already is in his debt for giving insight in cultivation! And she still owes him a dinner!

She felt quite ashamed, instead of thinking about his inscription she started to think about how she is going to pay it back to him.

He just inspected the inscription on the paper brought to him by his disciple.

"Yes, he gave it to Xingxuan as proof that his reason for visiting Zither Department was to research the Silkworms silk, apparently there are twenty different types of silk in Sky Fortune Kingdom alone." The ravenhaired girl said, remembering perfectly what Xiao Tian Long said to her about the silk types.

And now this boy around the same age as his disciple has created this!

"Xingxuan! Do you know if I can meet Xiao Tian Long in person?" The old man quickly asked her, realising that he might have a chance to learn from the source!

"Yes, Xingxuan can contact him directly." The ravenhaired girl slowly nodded at him.

"Wonderful! Can you set up a meeting with him?" Xingxuan's teacher asked excitedly.

"Yes, I have his inscription on my communication talisman."

Miyu nodded at her, this is wonderful! this means they can contact him directly!

While the girl in question could not continue to keep her face straight as a smile appeared on her face.

Now that her teacher is on board with this now she needs to tell this to her grandfather, this way she will have more leeway on leaving premises with her disguise…

Truly, this meeting with Tian Long has changed her to point that she wants to sneak out of her house? Maybe all that fame finally caught up with her…

All she wants is to train her martial arts with Tian Long…

Once again she blushed realising that she wants to train with him at his side, maybe he could teach her how he picked up sword intent?

The beauty quickly shook her head realising where this was going!

Qin Xingxuan didn't even realised that her master was looking at her with an amused expression.

As Xiao Tian Long was lazying around after a long day of researching, trying out the 'overbearing strike' after inscribing the rune on his sword and of course spending time with Qin Xingxuan, and yes, he was very much satisfied with what he saw in this beauty.

Once he listened to the message he grinned for a second, Qin Xingxuan wants to set up a meeting and her Master wishes to speak with him.

And since he gave her that bracelet she will be able to see him more often, and unlike Lin Ming, he will spend some time with her, only silly people won't spend time with beauties who show their interest in them.

After thinking for a bit he decided to meet her next week, as he wants to impress her by having achieved the second stage in Body Transformation.

Only the biggest drag with that one is that he needs to go through a massive list of dishes, desserts, sweats…

And of course, to top it all up he can just cook his stuff personally, as the kitchen is equipped with everything one would need to cook up a feast.

Still, his goal this time was not the food, no…

Xiao Tian Long walked over to one of the fridges and opened, his eyes swept through the content, as always, the content was meticulously arranged for easy accessibility.

His eyes landed on 'Actimel' strawberry taste, he took one of it and quickly drank it, then he picket a protein drink for later, after that, he closed the fridge and started walking towards one of several gym he has in his pocket dimension...
