Raynold Westwood, a man obsessed with Martial Artist, he neatly reached apex of spiritual cultivation and became a second Buddha, a spiritual God.

However, before that happened he filled up a survey in Internet and ended up transported into Honkai Impact 3rd just few years after 2nd Eruption.

But as genius he is... He had no idea where he was. Only thing he knows...

That there is energy which he needs to cultivate and reach that Apex! This time with actual superpowers!

Prologue

'Today it has been 5 years since I have been in this world. Time sure flies when you train like it's no tomorrow!'

I thought to myself when I looked at my small hand. Being a child sure is a bonus this time around.

Starting training the earliest possible is the greatest gift one could ask for.

I just needed to ignore my parent's constant pestering me not to do crazy stuff while being so young.

'Though it stopped when I crushed that monster which popped up from nowhere.

Honestly, I was quite excited that this was not just a reset of my life. It was not! No, this world has energy thingies and there are monsters!

My parents call them Honkai Beasts. But I don't give a fuck about the names. Those are real beasts trying to eat me.'

After an intense struggle that only made my blood boil, I crushed this thing's head with a steel pipe. After a glorious first hunt, I understood that these energies were a thing.

To harness them I proceeded to use Arthan's meditation to understand the flow then went through Lotus meditation to feel it.

This process was long. It was like trying to start a fire with wet wood.

However, after all this time…

I looked at what was between my hands. It was a small glowing ball of energy.

I have done it!

'Ki unlocked baby! Time to cultivate like there is no tomorrow! Then…Heavens will shake when I will hunt these beasts down!'

Raynold Westwood was what is considered a martial arts lunatic. He was one of those who believed that he could harness 'inner energy'. He truly believed in this until his adulthood.

However, just like the rest he needed to face reality. There was no such thing in his world. But this didn't truly stop him who wanted to reach the apex of martial arts. Instead of controlling energy he cultivated meditation with Wu-Dang Taoists and Monks of Shaolin. He learned their discipline and their mediation.

One could say that he indeed reached the apex of what his world has to offer. All that was left was to ascend…like Buddha.

But, he always had this annoyance that he could not change his situation.

That was until he stumbled on a survey via sheer dumb luck.

And now here he was…

As a child in the world exactly just like him… But so different… There are 'Honkai Beasts', and 'Honkai energy' which he calls the unruly bitch.

Apart from that the political situation was wacky as hell. There was this cult that ruled half of the world. Then there are some sort of terrorists ruling America of all places.

Thankfully he is far away from this bullshit.

It has been around 2 years since he unlocked Ki, and his senses improved considerably over that period. He could feel progress which only made him more invested in training his perception.

Once he reached a certain point he could interact with this 'unruly bitch'. The issue with this energy is that his parents said that it is toxic for regular people and some have stronger inborn resistance. These are 99% of females and they usually become Valkyries.

Quite a Norse myth, but not the point. The point is that it's toxic, so just make it not toxic. To do that Raynold started absorbing this energy with help of his Ki, and refined it.

The issue with this was that the refining process was difficult. It was like trying to cook someone alive. It was struggling, trying to escape.

However, after relentless effort, he was able to absorb some of it. After getting some it was easier to get more and more.

After a few months of constantly Ki training and absorbing refined Honkai energy Raynold realised that he was stuffed full of this refined energy and his body couldn't have more.

This Honkai was different from Ki. Ki was like fire, the hotter it is the stronger boost it gives. One trains it from constant usage and muscle training while using it.

While this Honkai stuff was different. It was much more flexible. Especially when it is fully under one control. It was like a substance. Eventually one fills it up to the brim and just can't have more of it anymore.

This is where Raynold used his instincts. More like knowledge of cultivation knowledge.

Meaning he started to compress this energy into one point.

'Curious… for some reason it's very easy. I thought that to make a breakthrough to the next stage, especially the golden core one, one would require quite a bit of mastery over the Honkai energy.'

Without much fanfare, once the refined energy was in a single point it turned into a crystal-like thing.

It was strange. Why is one's golden core made out of crystal?

'I guess I need to continually refine it to make it better and better. I guess it's a stage on its own.'

While he was disappointed in how fragile this core looked to him, he could feel it was brimming with power. It was like the amount of power he can unleash is several times more.

'is it like a transformation?'

For a second he wondered as he tapped into this core.

At that moment he felt how Honkai flooded his whole being.

That moment realised that if this energy was not refined by him and would be wild, he could lose himself to this power. As it was for better or worse it affects his mood.

'Fascinating… I guess I need to train more in this to gain complete control over my transformation."

He could feel that he could tap more into this power to gain more benefits but it feels wrong to do that without mastering the initial stage.

This was where he proceeded with his training.

As he opened his eyes he inspected his hands. He could feel a layer of Honkai energy protectively surrounding him. From his basic observation, he is certain that this protects him from outside elements, like weather or even attacks.

'Like cultivation should do.'

He walked towards a small shed at the back of his home and inspected himself on a window glass.

The only difference was that his eyes and pupil had changed.

The eye was pitch black while the pupil was greyish-white in a hexagon-like shape.

He wondered if his hair would change.

So he tapped more into the core and looked at himself.

For a second his eyebrow went up. As he saw that Honkai energy is changing his clothes! Instead of his everyday slacks, he had a black GI! With an intricate grey belt, followed by fingerless fighting gloves and a strap on his forehead. Reminding him of that dude from the street fighter game.

"How… Thoughtful… This energy is quite something else. Apart from emotional swings which need training, this energy is far better than I expected."

After inspecting his 'final form'. He reeled in the majority of his power. Which made his clothes change back, leaving only his eyes.

It was time to test the power he could wield. It was a strange feeling that he can do things. Honestly, he doesn't like when someone is giving him power like that. He prefers to develop stuff himself.

But then again he can perfect this given power.

Without much thought he casually pointed his finger at a small rock and then out of nowhere, it started to float.

"Curious…"

He then motioned to go down. This time the rock slammed back into the ground. All this has cost him a little bit of Honkai which was recharged almost immediately by the very core he created.

'Oh, I see… So for breaking into this stage I gained a concept of some sort… Does this mean other people have concepts of their own? This is quite shocking. Does this mean every single person has a unique power?

Honestly…this excites my very bones!''

With more excitement than ever, Raynold proceeded to train this power more.

After a few more tests, he realised that this is…gravity!

And gravity means he can make his training…harder!!!

Dragon ball has taught him well how he can abuse gravity to train his muscle mass. And if he does that then he can improve his Ki training as well!

It is truly an infinite cycle to grow more powerful!

But, his plan swiftly encountered an issue… He is immune to that stuff!

Gravity doesn't work on him!

That's when he started to look for a solution. He can't allow such an incredible opportunity to pass to train his Ki. Honkai is great and all but Ki is what will give him the most destructive power! Beams and stuff!

At first, it was trying to find a way to turn it off. But Honkai protection always surrounds him so instead, he proceeds to send refined energy from his body into the earth and then turn off his transformation.

This has worked but…it requires finding a method to sustain the increase of gravity.

This means that he needs to postpone his Ki training for Honkai energy training.

But, another issue arose… He can't train this stuff in his neighbourhood.

So, he decided to explore, especially when he found out that he can fly! Well, more like float…

~~~~~~2 Years Later, Siberian Wilderness~~~~~~

A white-haired girl was running away from three white monsters the size of trucks. She was dressed in rags and was quite dirty. Though none of that mattered as she was holding a gun in her hands and was thinking about how to deal with the monsters which tried to eat her.

Then…

Her foot tripped over a rock that was buried under snow.

'Oh no! This is bad!'

Without any ceremony, she dropped on the snow, face first. Though she swiftly rolled to the side to dodge a spike that came from one of the beasts.

She then opened fire and hit her mark right in the beast's face.

This made the thing stumble back. Before she can proceed to end this thing another of these monsters interrupted her.

'These Honkai Beasts are everywhere! What is going on!? Where wasn't this many before!?'

This was maddening for her. She was about to leave this wilderness and find civilization but these things just continue to pop up again and again.

Then before she could dodge the attack the three beasts started floating. She was floating as well.

"What is—"

*CRACK*

Without any ceremony, all three honkai beasts deformed before being sucked into holes. These things were utterly crushed and there was nothing left out of them.

Before she could exclaim from utter shock, she was gently floated down and put on the ground.

"I wasn't expecting to find a kitten in my hunting grounds."

A male voice said from the sky. This made her look up. There was a kid around her age floating in the air. What stuck with her was his black and grey glowing eyes.

"...Kitten? Do I look like a cat to you!?"

"Yes, you do."

His instant answer got her by surprise and off guard.

"From the looks of it you either have run away from home OR your home was destroyed by these pesky bugs."

"What if it's both? What is it for you?" She said with a challenging tone.

'What fiery cat she is…I like that spirit.'

"A challenge. This means I missed some of these pests. I thought I kept Siberia clean, but I might have been wrong. Regardless… you, my dear kitten, are coming with me."

As he said that he made her float once more and pulled her up to his level. At that moment his eyes widened as he sensed a core in her!

At that moment his eyes gleamed with extreme interest! He finally found it! Someone who is at a similar cultivation stage as him!

"Y-You are full of surprises! I can't wait to tell my parents I found an adorable kitten!"

"H-Hey put me down! AND I AM NOT A CAT! I MIGHT LIKE THEM BUT YOU CAN'T DO THAT!"
