Chapter 9

Bronya looked at the white-haired girl with a complex look on her face. Here it was…

Another Herrscher was in their orphanage. Everything she read and studied contradicted what she was seeing in front of her eyes.

There is no chaos there is no destruction, the only thing she sees is them behaving like humans and doing human things. The only difference is that they have the power to do things.

After watching them she started to walk back to think about what she saw. Her mind was full of confusion. As she was going up the stairs someone appeared in front of her and pushed her.

Bronya's eyes widened from sheer shock as she could not control herself and rolled down the stairs… hard.

A girl with blue hair rushed from the living room to see what just happened. The girl's eyes widened from horror as she exclaimed with horror.

"B-Bronya!"

Swiftly one after another the orphan kids gather to check what was going on.

Then Raynold and Kiana appeared with the use of their power and they sensed commotion via their distinctive powers.

"What happened, Lili?" Ray asked with a critical eye as he looked at hurting Bronya. The girl was holding her leg.

"I don't know. I heard that someone just fell down the stairs."

When he heard that he walked over to Bronya, and made her float.

"What happened, Bronya?"

"...Someone pushed me…"

KIana's eyes widened as she used her spacial sense to sense who was upstairs.

"There is only one person upstairs!" She exclaimed angrily, this instantly made her realise who was the culprit. She is about to teach a lesson here!

But then Raynold's voice brought her back.

"Calm yourself, Kitten."

"B-But!"

"If you get emotional then you are doing the same as the person who did this to Bronya. Being guided by emotions in this kind of situation is not recommended.

You need to think calmly and logically."

As he said that wormhole opened and a person dropped from it landing on her ass. The drop was around 1 and a half metres. So she exclaimed with pain upon collision.

It was a girl with short hair and Heterochromia, her eyes had two distinctive colours.

"Sin Mal…"

Raynold said with a sigh. The troubled child of the orphanage.

"Oh? Are you going to punish me? fake Herrscher?" The girl said with a challenging snort.

Kiana snorted angrily as her hand twitched quite hard. She nearly slapped the shit out of her.

"Fake Herrscher? Have you seen one before to make a comparison? Hmm? Do tell me more!" That moment Raynold leaned forward at Sin Mal. From a side perspective, it looked like it was just a simple motion of leaning forward but the younger girl felt like she got the attention of a giant and he leaned and looked down from Heaven itself.

The girl felt like a small ant that got the attention of someone who could crush her with a mere breath.

His Herrscher eyes glowed for a second before he pulled back.

"Dear me… It appears excitement got the better of me. I nearly crushed you with it." Raynold apologised as he shook his head. He was apologetic about it.

Sin Mal that moment started to take big breaths as she subconsciously was holding her breath!

"...You…You…what are you!?" The girl said with panic and fear. Never in her life, she was this afraid! It was as if she was facing a freaking monster with unfathomable power!

"Forget about me. You, on the other hand, are in trouble." As he said that he motioned for her to move, and she moved, the Heterochromia girl flew and landed in a corner of a room.

She tried to move and struggle but it was pointless. She ended up on her knees. Without any sort of means to move! It was like she was nailed to the ground.

"You WILL kneel until Bronya will decide to forgive you." After saying that he motioned for Bronya to float. He, himself, moved toward the living room. The orphanage girls were quiet as they didn't know what to do. They did feel an insane amount of force. It was directed at Sin Mal.

It was so intense even if it was not directed at them…they have no idea how Sin Mal got over it but it was utterly horrifying. Is this how it feels like when one has to face a Herrscher on a battlefield?

Though the girls didn't even realise Kiana's hand did shake as she felt this pressure herself. It was like it descended on her very soul!

[Amazing… So this is his hunger for fighting. His will to fight. I feel honest pity for his enemies. Imagine a moment when he is fully unchained and doesn't need to worry about this worthless planet.] Sirin said with a gushing voice. She was feeling like a girlfriend who wants to brag about her boyfriend and just show off how good he is at his thing.

'What was that? It didn't feel like Gravity. It was just…that…pressure.

How can he have such hunger for a fight, Sirin? It doesn't make sense…'

[I can only guess that he is channelling his excitement of fighting over his Honkai energy. Honkai is very versatile after all he CAN channel his emotions through it.]

'Tell me about it. He defeated you through touch.'

[I know…it was foolish of me to think that I could resist him.]

Kiana could only shake her head. How lost is the Void Queen?

After thinking this she walked after Raynold to the living room.

"Tell me where it hurts." He asked Bronya as he laid the girl on a couch. The angle of her leg was bad…it looked broken…

"IT hurts… it just hurts…" She said while gnashing her teeth.

"I see… For now, relax." As he said that he started to channel his energy and calm her down. Which worked as she slowly calmed down and looked like she was not in pain anymore.

Once he calmed her down and put her into a calm trance-like state. Then proceed to scan her body.

'Hmm…the angle… I guess it's time to see how effective this specific technique is.'

As he thought about it. He called forth his Ki and then made a hand motion, it was a one-hand prayer.

Slowly a golden glow started to surround him, lotuses started to blow around his form. Followed by the sound of drums and prayers in the background.

Then…one of the lotuses just dropped on Bronya's body. It shattered and entered her body.

What followed next was a golden glow manifested around her body and it only grew in intensity before it was like a cacoon that surrounded her body.

"W-What is that…"

Kiana asked with utter shock she never saw anything like that!

These are not Herrscher powers at all!

"...Golden Lotus, return to one's origin."

"What does this even mean!?" She asked with a frown and annoyance. His words make no sense!

"Rebirth, adjustment to one's soul. It means her body adjusts to her soul.

Her body will be purified to perfectly match her soul. This is the ultimate form of healing."

Kiana's mouth slightly opened.

'What…nonsense is that!? That sounds like sci-fi!!! Fantasy nonsense I saw on the internet!!!'

Then the cocoon cracked and everyone saw Bronya opening her eyes. She looked confused for a bit before just standing up as if nothing had happened!

"...What happened?"

"I healed you. How are you feeling?"

"...amazing… It's like I had a long night's rest…"

Hearing that she was fully healed, Raynold put his hand on her head and stroked her hair.

"Glad to hear that it worked. By the way, What are you going to do about Sin Mal?"

As he asked by that point other girls rushed towards Bronya, followed by relieved Seele who tried to control her emotions like how Raynold had instructed but it was quite hard not to feel anxious.

His question got Bronya out of the girl's circle as all the girls were happy that she was 100% okay.

"...I don't know…I will wait for our mother to make her decision." Bronya said with an uncertain look. She was not comfortable talking about this.

"I see… you want an adult to make the decision for you. A good choice but not the best. She caused harm to you. You need to decide what is the best way to get back at her.

And I don't mean to hurt or damage her in the same way. To get back has many different means. She needs to understand that hurting someone won't lower her jealousy or need for attention."

"I will think about it… I had no time to think about it."

*Sigh*

"I understand if you need to talk about such things I am always ready to give you a helping hand." He said while ruffling her hair.

"Ok…my thanks…Ray…"

He simply smiled at her before walking away. Kiana who looked at this was perplexed. She was perplexed about the power he has shown.

It was so random… He just started to heal out of nowhere!

He never said anything about knowing means to heal or anything about this 'Golden Lotus' thing. It was so new…so random…so confusing…

[Don't ask. I have no idea either.]

'I didn't ask.'

[You were thinking though.]

'I was not.'

[I can sense your emotional state. Your Honkai was quite chaotic.]

'Shut up. It's not like you know what he did!'

[He healed her. That's all I need to know.] The Void Queen said with not that caring tone.

'It's strange okay!? I was quite proud that I thought I knew a lot about him! But then he pulls this out of nowhere!'

[Please. You only invested in this for those cuddles and pampering.]

'...Well… duh!'

[Then continue to progress. Do you think our darling Raynold would be happy to hear how quickly you gave up after a single such incident?]

'Gave up? Who gave up!?'

[My bratty self which doesn't deserve to be in control of our body.] Sirin said with a deadpan tone.

'Grrr…just shut up!'

[So easy to rile up. I suggest you start asking our Raynold for actual martial arts techniques. Remember? He taught you the Basic Wu-Dang fist technique. It's BASIC. But he was able to call forth Gravity. Use this moment to get more information from him about these techniques.]

Sirin explained in a single smooth dialogue.

'That's smart…hold up! How do you know about it!?'

The Void Queen didn't answer but instead continued to diss her other self.

[It's basic. Use your brain for more than video games for once.]

'I do! Who do you think learned how to get pampered more by Ray!?'

[As I said, it's basic. You need pampering how humans need air. So you quickly thought of methods.] The Void Queen said with a lazy tone.

'You just want to rile me up!'

[And it's working. Start moving or those little girls will think you are weird.]

Kiana snapped and swiftly floated away with her void powers. She was too embarrassed to look at the orphanage girls as she was just standing here and talking with Sirin mentally! Looking stupid!

"Is she okay? She was just standing there and going through all those expressions."

"Don't be rude, Roza!"

"Shut up Lili. Besides, do you think we would be better kittens than this white-haired girl?"

"Her name is Kiana, Roza. It's about time you learn it." Lili said with a lazy eye roll

"Meh…don't care. I think we are cuter than she is."

"...I don't think this is how it works Roza," Bronya said with a small pained smile. She is pretty sure Raynold didn't just pick that girl because she is cute….right?

If only they knew the original story of how Kiana became his Kitten. These girls would try 'harder' to get adopted by him.

"Girls, I am back!" That moment Cocolia returned. The girls didn't know but the woman activated her network for what Raynold had asked.

"Mother! There is something—"

"MOTHER PLEASEEEEEEE LET ME STAND UP!!! I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS!" Sin Mal's voice screamed from the corridor.

"""..."""

"I kinda forgot about her."

"Roza!"

"What!?"
