It should have been easy…

What his kitten wanted he would get it for her.

But it didn't happen…

"As I said! Schicksal or I don't have Judgement of Shamash! It should be with Siegfried Kaslana. He went missing after he got you out of the lab." Otto said that while massaging his forehead. How can he make these kids get over the idea that he has no Kaslana's Heirloom?

"Whoa! Ray, it even has a cool name!" Kiana said with stars in her eyes.

The boy sagely nodded at his Kitten. Kaslana's family just got a few more brownie points just for good naming sense!

"Yes. Well, how can we know that what you are saying is the truth?"

Otto rolled his eyes.

"I will show you the vault if you want!"

"Hmmm… Nah, I can sense that you are telling the truth. Even if you don't, we have other means to find out. Those in general lead to a bad aftertaste in receiving people's end."

"Yes. I can understand that."

"I am more curious to know if the Kaslana family and these Divine Keys are creations of the previous era," Raynold asked about something else which piqued his curiosity.

This time Otto smiled at him.

"The general idea you have is true. They are relics from the day's gone era. Many of the things Schicksal uses today are based on the technologies from the previous era."

"In other words using failure to maybe create success…" He said with a slightly mumbling voice.

Kiana who heard what Ray said could only sigh.

"Say what you want but humans are good at creating things. In the previous era, humans were living in deep seas and colonised the moon."

"Honkai didn't care about any of that, did it? A mere energy ended up a glorious civilization with few berserk people at the mere first proper stage of cultivation." Raynold said that while shaking his head.

"Hoh? Do tell me what all of this does it even mean? You have been mentioning Golden Core what does it mean?" Otto curiously asked if it was the perfect time for him to learn more about Raynold and how his mind works in person.

"What does it mean? It's simple. WILD Honkai is bad, refined Honkai is Good." As he said that he showed both index fingers which had small bits of energy at the tip of the fingers.

One was volatile, the other was a smooth glow in the shape of a ball.

"Before you take this energy in you refine it with your own emotions and feelings. In other words, establish dominance over it.

Once you have some, you start getting more and more until you make a core.

This signifies the first stage in cultivation."

"...Hmm… So according to you, Herrscher is nothing more than just a beginning. Do you even know what the next stage is after?"

Otto asked him as he was curious about it.

"Of course. Once you have a core you have enough energy to start grasping additional concepts. I already wield a secondary and soon a third concept." Raynold said with a shrug.

"...I see…"

"Regardless, if you find any info about Kitten's old man, notify me. I need to break a few bones—"

That moment Kiana elbowed him

"I mean relinquish his sword."

"Of course… I hope next time you don't break the main barrier generator just for amusement."

"No need, now that I know where your office is I just going to pop here instead."

After saying that the pair of kids left via a wormhole. Once they were gone Otto sighed and leaned back into his seat.

No matter how old he is,unknowns just popping up like this is something he doesn't like at all.

Though he has learned something curious…

'Becoming a Herrscher is no longer just a wild guess. I need to check if such a thing is possible. Start from the smallest amount of Honkai and then proceed to get more and more of it until critical mass is reached and the core can form.

However, the issue remains… How to establish dominance over it?'

Otto didn't even consider following how Raynold achieved his way. It sounds far too gruesome. And it didn't even register with his mind. He can't understand how one affects another. There is no connection…

Raynold rash actions and subsequent visit to see Otto after has people's attention. Not the general public. The general public still only knows that he went wild to look for answers.

This made everyone take a step back if they want something from him.

While people who learned that he was interacting with Otto started moving.

One such group is Anti-Entropy.

The so-called terrorist organisation is based in America. The thing was about them that it was Otto who declared them Terrorists and it was Schicksal who was responsible for the creation of this group.

In other words, one of Schicksal's branches went rogue because of the experiments Schicksal was doing in America.

And their purpose is to save the world from Honkai AND Schicksal.

So, it was quite panicky for Anti-Entropy when they learned that Herrschers are interacting with their enemies.

The current leader of Anti-Entropy, Welt Yang was disguised as a Teacher in St. Freya when he learned that a Herrscher who was on the human side attacked Schicksal headquarters.

It was out of nowhere and a big welcoming surprise. That was until next when he learned that the same Herrscher with another Herrscher went to see Otto! It helps that people talk about such things.

This made him panic. He immediately decided to ditch the work he had been doing in St.Freya and instead he went and contacted his people and decided to visit Raiden Ryoma who was with Anti-Entropy from the very beginning.

"I hope you know what has happened with Schicksal?" Welt asked Ryoma.

The businessman nodded at him. He was slightly nervous about this as well.

His darling daughter was with Raynold. And he was certain that the boy didn't like Schicksal. So why now? He even attacked them and now he has a conversation with the guy he attacked!?

"It's a surprise Sovereign, I thought you went missing…"

"I needed to be missing this way so my cover would be even greater. Regardless, Raynold Westwood caused too many ripples and my cover is pointless by this point.

This is why I want you to create a meeting between the Herrschers and us."

"Yes. It would be for the best. I would be much more relieved if Anti-Entropy was around him instead of Schicksal." Ryoma said with a sigh.

Welt simply nodded at him. It was time to meet these…humans with the powers of Herrschers. Even the…second generation 1st Herrscher can't do things these kids can do.

It will be an interesting meeting.

The dark purple-haired girl was wondering what was wrong with her.

Out of nowhere, she decided to learn how to cook.

Her reason was that the food she was forced to eat tasted bland. As Raynold didn't allow her to eat just anything. This leads her to start studying everything about food.

Her outburst about food has made her teacher simply smile at her.

He said something which her father said to her before.

'If you want something, then do it yourself.'

In other words, she understood that he wanted to get emotions out of her. And it worked. She could not stand this tasteless crap she has been eating.

So instead she started to study cooking. Turns out that his mother is a perfect cook. Which made her bash her head into a wall.

In other words, it was a setup. A setup to rile her up. And it worked now she is all fired up and learning how to cook, how to fight, cultivate, and even live outdoors. Hell, she even started gardening. Because you need to raise your stuff for the best taste possible.

In the end, when her father called her, she was ashamed to say that she forgot all about her pompous life!

She was having too much fun!

"Ray…"

"Yes, what is it, Mei?"

"Father called me. He asked if you would agree to meet the leader of Anti-Entropy?"

For a second he looked confused. As he…forgot about other people… In other words. He never saw anyone else apart from Schicksal as worthy of his prolonged attention.

"...Aren't they tech-obsessed people from America? What could they want with me? Who is all about breaking tech?"

"...I think? They are against Schicksal and their methods to fight Honkai. They don't use humans or experiment on them to use on the battlefield. They prefer to use mechs to fight for them."

Mei's explanation made him think for a while. They do sound like cowards but better cowards than the cultists.

"Fine. I will meet this leader. Though do tell your old man that there is no guarantee that I will stay the whole conversation. It depends on what they have to say."

"As you wish."

Mei stopped bothering with things some time ago. One could say slowly her outlook on life has changed. Raynold's training is working and she can already control her energy. Though she still doesn't have enough to overcome the Stigmata.

But she is getting there. Apart from that. She finally was able to touch Raynold in a spar.

It was one of the most exciting moments in her life!

It sounds ridiculous but she felt very happy that her hard work had paid off.

Though her happiness was very short as her next task was to hit him again. This time he would parry.

And parry he did…

It felt like everything was reset and she needs to learn everything once again!

The difficulty of this new exercise with his movement. All of it became much, much harder!

Though this time she didn't despair or even complained. She just proceeded to continue the practice.

That much has impressed him.

"Well, we will have to stop here for today," Raynold said while throwing the wooden sword into a wormhole. The weapon returned to the training tools shed.

"As you wish. I shall go to start making dinner."

Raynold slightly smiled upon hearing that. Mei has been taking strides recently and funny enough it only riles up his Kitten.

"Very well. I don't think the meeting will last that long."

At that moment Mei had an understanding look. It appears her training has been postponed because of the meeting…

How annoying is that!?

As Mei was walking back to the house Raynold used his senses to lock on three people which have quite a unique Honkai signature. Strangely one of them even had Golden Core residue.

At this moment he remembered that the first ever person to make a core is a person who took control of his wild core. Instead of doing the opposite of what the Void Queen in his kitten did.

This is quite curious. He might listen to what this person has to say.

Raynold appeared in a cafeteria. The whole place had been bought off and three people were waiting for him.

Honestly, he didn't expect to see such a theme…it was a nerdy looking guy surrounded by two girls who look like they're in their teens but they are not. They are much older.

One girl had twin tails and had a fetish for red. As she had red hair, red eyes and was dressed in pure red.

While the other one was the opposite. Dressed in black in tomboy style with blue hair.

They have more 'style' than his whole street combined.

"It's so strange… You possess wild Honkai but it's under pseudo-control… you are the so-called 'Herrscher of Reason'." Raynold said that while stroking his chin.

"And you are weird for a kid."

The red-haired girl said with a huff.

"Says an old lady pretending to be a teen." The boy said with an eye roll. Which made the red-haired girl's eyebrows twitch from anger.

*Snort*

The blue-haired girl snorted in amusement.

"I do apologise for Tesla's brash words. But I am here with serious business." The brown-haired man said while fixing his glasses.
