'The other statues would be sliced off but this guy only lost a core.'

Rin realized as she slowly raised her head and her eyes fell on the bar over the humanoid warrior.

The cores in its bar were clustered together so tightly that it was hard for Rin to count them while she was in the middle of her fight against this monster.

'At least I put a dent in his head.'

Rin lowered her gaze and pulled back her wooden sword while the humanoid warrior was turning his hands towards her.

In the last fight, Rin wasn't able to damage the humanoid warrior at all, so the bar hadn't even appeared. But, even though she could only take a single core with one attack, Rin was still satisfied.

Everything had started in Rin's favor until the humanoid warrior pushed both of his hands in Rin's direction who had just taken a backward leap to get away from him.
