The doors burst open as a group of men swarmed into the now silent factory. Weapons raised they scanned the interior as they slowly walked further into the dark building until suddenly the door slammed shut behind them. One of the individuals in the rear quickly moved to check the doors but quickly found them held tightly shut as though they were held in place. The group grew visibly tense as they realized that they were locked in.
"Did your mothers never teach you mother fuckers to knock?" A voice rang out from the dark as the sounds of footsteps echoed through the factory. A single light turned on above them as the group was illuminated in the center of the factory. The sounds of footsteps grew closer as the group turned together towards the source as they saw stepping into the light the disguised form of Mikael. He watched with a straight face as the group visibly froze in recognition as one of the masked individuals started stuttering.
"Di-Director Fury?" That answer gave Mikael exactly the information he needed to continue his performance.
"Who the fuck else would I be?" Mikael responded doing his best to match the mannerisms in his head as his voice was disguised by the disguise matrix. He watched as the group seemed to look him over as confusion seemed to build in their eyes.
"What mother fucker!? You got a problem with how I'm dressed?" Mikael snapped causing the group to flinch in unison. The group quickly gathered themselves as they turned back to face him.
"No sir, we were just surprised. Why are you here sir?"
"Don't you worry about why I'm here. I should be asking why you're here." Mikael answered crossing his arms over his chest.
"We were ordered to."
"By who? Cause I know I sure as shit didn't give you that order." Mikael responded immediately in an attempt to prevent them from having enough time to think about the situation.
"By-By uh." The figure attempted to find an answer before they seemed to just give up and raised their weapon towards him. Mikael immediately dived out of the way and back into the shadows as the sound of suppressed gunfire and the impact of rounds against concrete echoed through the factory.
"Oh okay. I see how it is. Agent 47 discipline these fools." Mikael called out as he leaped into the rafters as the group circled up with the backs together. Mikael watched as HK-47 dropped directly in the middle of the group, the impact of his landing sending them sprawling across the floor. The intruders quickly rolled back up to their feet before firing their weapons at HK-47 only to see their rounds fall harmlessly to the ground after impacting him. The intruders seemed to recoil in shock at the sight of their bullets seeming to be ineffective against what looked like an ordinary suit yet sounded mysteriously like metal.
"Statement: It is time for corrective education meat bags." HK-47 said out loud as he rushed towards the nearest enemy. He slapped the weapon to the side breaking it in half before he punched the man in the chest sending him flying through the air over 15 feet smashing into a pillar and falling to the ground motionless. HK-47 turned to face the other intruders as they took a step away from him. Mikael watching the show play out decided to jump into the fray himself as he dropped from his perch landing silently directly behind another masked man.
"Surprise mother fucker." Mikael whispered in the man's ear as he attempted to turn around in shock only to be thrown directly into one of his companions. Mikael and HK-47 dived into the fray as they retaliated using the intruders own weapons against them while simultaneously throwing their bodies around the factory with Mikael attempting to keep the powers he displayed to a minimum. The pair used individuals unlucky enough to get close to them as shields against the incoming fire as they whittled down the survivors.
As the fight continued the survivors grew more and more panicked as Mikael secretly used his power to erode their willpower and induce fear. While their numbers continued to dwindle they attempted to call for back up only to hear static over their communications. One individual seemed to break entirely as he threw aside his gun and sprinted towards the door and started to pull on them with everything he had. Mikael and HK-47 however continued to mop up the group until there was only a single man that soon attempted to join his companion at the door when suddenly he was pulled by his ankle back into the shadows of the factory. The last man pushed his back against the door as he heard the screams of his last companion suddenly fall silent. He hyperventilated as he heard a set of footsteps approaching in the darkness.
"So you wanna tell me what you're doing here now mother fucker?" Mikael's disguised voice echoed through the shadows as he stepped into view of the trembling mess of a man.
"I-I-I. Hail Hydra!" The man cried out as he clamped his jaw shut and within seconds started to convulse before dropping to the floor motionless. Mikael's form shimmered for a moment as his disguise faded away while he was looking down at the dead body at his feet.
"Well the whole shoot first questions later probably gave that away." Mikael said with a frown on his face as waved his hand and the rest of the lights turned on revealing the chaos that now filled the interior of the building. Spent casings and bullets scattered everywhere as blood covered the floor and walls while the bodies were strewn about.
"Good work 47."
"Statement: These meat bags were no challenge. Their organic flailing was amusing." He responded in a serious human voice that sounded mismatched when paired with what he said.
"Well we will likely have to deal with more in the future." Mikael said as he gathered all the bodies in one place and started to look over each of them as he started to find and destroy the body cams each was wearing. Once he was done with that he walked over to a fabricator and printed out a piece of fabric that had what looked like a bloody handprint sewn into it before he tore up the edges and stuck it in one of the hands of the group of corpses. He then lifted the group of bodies off the ground and out of the building under a cloak of his power before dumping them in an alley about a block away from his building.
His job done he went back to his office as pressed a button under his desk before sitting in his chair with one of his data pads in his hand. He kicked his feet up onto his desk and grabbed a slice of pizza as he watched a group of small rectangular box shaped droids roll out of a corner and started to clean and repair the interior of the building, removing any signs of a conflict. Mikael started to finish off his pizza with a smile on his face as he started to think about the aftermath of the day's events.
As Mikael relaxed in his office the group of individuals from the mountain arrived at the site of the dumped bodies. They cautiously entered the alley weapons drawn and scanning the surroundings. One individual slowly approached and examined the bodies before he stepped away and made a phone call.
"Sir, Bravo team is down. Do we continue with the mission?"
"What happened?"
"We don't know sir. The bodies all seemed to have suffered fatal injuries either from blunt force or firearms and one seemed to have used his cyanide tablet. We did however find a small torn bloody piece of cloth with what appears to be a handprint sewn into it." The conversation entered a brief pause as the sound of someone taking a deep breath from the other end came over the phone.
"Understood. Abort the mission and clean your tracks. You were never here and this mission never happened. We'll get what we want another way."
"What about Fury? He's gonna find out about this."
"I'll handle that. I'll point him in a different direction." The voice answered as the call ended. The group then quickly left the scene and disappeared in different directions.
"Well this will be interesting to watch. I should get ready. No doubt someone else will be paying me a visit soon." Mikael said as he put the data pad back in his desk before he stood up and headed down to his workshop.
'I need to find some good materials to make my lightsaber from. Vibranium might be good, could absorb the impact of blows.' Mikael pondered to himself as he headed stepped into his workshop and started putting together components in the middle of the room.
