Chapter Twenty-eight 

Ying Zetian lazily stretched herself after a good sleep and felt a slight pull of her neck muscles. The pain caused by the pull of her neck muscle finally forces Ying Zetian awake. It was than Ying Zetian finally notice that she was not in her room at Hanlin academy. The pain caused by the pull of her neck muscle also forces Ying Zetian to remember what happen yesterday. And as usual iron thick Ying Zetian never notices anything strange with what happened yesterday. And only sigh at the fact that she needs to apologize to Nan Gong Jing for the fact that Tang Wudi had punched him.

Ying Zetian turns around to look at the already wide-awake Tang Wudi who was lying lazily beside her and spoke while pinching him on his cheeks.

"Your guts are getting fatter. You dare to raise a hand against your elder brother. You misunderstood the scene that you saw yesterday. Nan Gong Jing is just drunk. I understood why you want to force me unconscious. As you do not want me to see and stop you from punching him. But no worries I will go and apologize on your behalf. If you are in such a rush again without understanding what happen, I will pinch your face until you are blue black. What is the place that we are at now?"

Ying Zetian was normally iron thick in reacting to people that she trusted. So, she never notices the glim of madness that appear and disappear in a blink in Tang Wudi's eyes when she mentioned Nan Gong Jing. Ying Zetian took the chance to affectionately messed up Tang Wudi hairstyle while he stood up from the bed and wanted to pull her out of the bedroom.

And so, Ying Zetian was happily bought around the Zhen prince residence and introduce to the residence facilities by Tang Wudi. Although Ying Zetian was strangely uncomfortable at the fact that the prince residence is really build like a self-sufficient city with brick walls that was built to even withstand a siege. There was a variety of animals raised in the residence along with relatively wide expense of fields that grew medical herbs, vegetables and even rice crops.

But most importantly, the residence has a feature that Ying Zetian like. And that is the ancient version of an aircon. There was a large water reservoir on the residence and using a mechanism, the water will be sent flowing through the whole residence cooling it in the summer. But Ying Zetian did not think much on her discomfort at feeling this residence is like a prison to her and was simply happy for Tang Wudi that Tang Zhong treated him well.

Although after the fact that Mama Tang did not tell Ying Zetian of her background and caused Tang Zhong being able to find her. Ying Zetian after this incident developed a bad habit of checking everyone around her even Mama Tang right up to who their ancestors were and what meals they have daily. The only person that Ying Zetian did not check on is Tang Wudi. As Ying Zetian did not want to step on her Tang Wudi's pride as a male. So, Ying Zetian only checks on enough information about Tang Wudi to ensure that she could keep him safe.
