Next day

Ying Zetian had already made a report to the soldiers and the three garrison commanders of the three cities of Changping when Ying one came to her and told her the news that she has been waiting for so long. The tears fall down Ying Zetian's face without any further ado when she saw the man that walk towards her, and she immediately walked into the arms that was held out to her for a hug. Zhang Qubing patted Ying Zetian softly on her back as he hums a lullaby that Ying Zetian had not heard for so long until she calms down and stopped crying.

Ying Zetian then looks calmly at the elder brother that she had been missing for nine years before saying.

"Elder brother, just as long as you come back, everything is fine. You look tired. I wanted you to go for a rest and a bath before we speak. I have already given orders for your room to be prepared and a meal to be sent to your room."

Zhang Qubing then bend down and pinch Ying Zetian's cheeks and immediately afterwards run out of the room while saying.

"Little Zetian is still like a crybaby. Just like the first time I meet you."

This was a familiar action that was carried out by Zhang Qubing and Ying Zetian every time they meet. So, Ying Zetian did not try very seriously to run after Zhang Qubing and just pretend to angrily run after him. Ying one and Ying two sigh as they watch Ying Zetian lost in her memories while she was standing at the window of the room that she had just made a report in. It was the first time Ying one and Ying two see Ying Zetian being so different from the quick decision maker master that they were used to. Ying Zetian will only be this way when she was with Tang Wudi and Tang Ying.

Ying Zetian stood at the window enjoying the cool night breeze that will not exists once the sandstorm starts. Ying Zetian was thinking of the times that she spends with Zhang Qubing. Actually, the time that Zhang Qubing spend with Ying Zetian, half of them is with the original Ying Zetian. The first time Ying Zetian and Zhang Qubing meet is when the original Ying Zetian was beaten up in an alley. The then seven years old Zhang Qubing beaten the attackers into submission and bring back the original Ying Zetian to the temple that will be her home for the next three years of her life so that he could attend to her wounds.

The original Ying Zetian was just five years old and had lost the whole Ying family including her nanny so even when she was asleep, she was prone to nightmares. And Zhang Qubing was the one to hum lullaby to Ying Zetian as he rocks her to sleep. Actually, Ying Zetian was not the only one that Zhang Qubing taken care of. In fact, the whole temple of kids that will be the first batch of manpower that Ying Zetian needs for her manpower is also kids that Zhang Qubing try to shield under his protection. Zhang Qubing was the elder brother that help the original Ying Zetian to go over the deaths of the Ying family and her cousins. Not only that, many of the habits that will push Ying Zetian to success is taught to her by Zhang Qubing.

Even after the Ying Zetian from the modern world that took over the use of the original Ying Zetian's body, Zhang Qubing was the first one to notice the difference. So, Zhang Qubing is actually the first person and the only other person who knew that the Ying Zetian now came from the modern world. So, before Ying one and Ying two was trained, Zhang Qubing was Ying Zetian's left and right-hand man. Not only that, Zhang Qubing to Ying Zetian was her respected elder brother, teacher and father all at the same time.
