"You have got to be kidding!" I gasped in disbelief. "I'm not going to spend the night with you barely centimeters away from me!"

Viridian scoffed, "Then where are you going to sleep? In the bathtub?"

"Yes. Atleast I'll get privacy there."

"You're making me sound like a bad person. I'm not going to take advantage of you or anything." I ran my hands through my hair in frustration.

She was doing something strange to me. I was feeling things easily with her. As if I was normal. I gulped. What was this strange feeling dwelling inside me? I was starting to sound like a cringe protagonist in a romantic story. Ewww...

"I should be the one feeling insecure. After all, I'm female."

"You're a powerful ex-heavenly creature who can draw swords out of thin air. You could kill me any second."

I turned to face her,"As for safety, you've been nice to me so far. I don't think you'll harm me." She chuckled lightly. The sound made my heart flutter.
