Ch–55 Reporting back Pt-1

The lone fortress stood in silence. The sky had lazy white clouds floating in the sky. The blue sky was silent with no scream or roars in the open field in front of them. The barren field had only dust flying around it. A bit of the grass was trying to poke out of the barren field. The small green sprouts are trying to get some air from the barren land. The guards in front of the gate were standings straight. No signs of the vatakku for the past few days.

The people inside the fortress are having one of the rare peaceful times. The front gate did not open itself at all with only the exception of the small gate to let the guard duty change. In the back gate towards the empire, the view is the same. It was peaceful with hardly anyone going in or out of the place. It is peaceful with only the sound of bugs and birds.
