Bk3:Ch–21 The visit(pt-1)

The cracks in the wall, made small stone fall on the ground. Crumbs of grey stones fall first then falls the black one. They would separate the black stitched stones in one cart into the other stones in a separate one. The two carts took a time to fill up. In the mines, time would stand still. They would not understand the flow of time without Adilve. The sound of the pickaxe was all they could hear in this mine. Adilve came down from the place he was watching them. His hand was carrying water bags. He passed them one by one to the workers. “Get your throats quenched, I don’t want you to lose your senses before you finish your work.” Rosa just put down her axe but Egil went forward quickly and took the bag for her. Adilve did not care but

Rosa just tilted her head in question, “I am sorry, Sir. He did not seem like a good person.” He mumbled nervously.

Rosa smiled, “Go on drink it. You got it first.”
