Bk3: Ch– 51 Match his sight.(pt-1)

When the royal returned to his city, he would be escorted by a large group of soldiers accompanying him from the road along with extra escorts sent from the castle to be welcomed on the street. Sometimes a parade would be done to make the citizens cheer on the entry of the prince. He would climb out of the carriage and wave to the people riding on a horse or at best ride in an open carriage waving to the crowd proudly. However, the entry of the fourteenth prince of Ecruh is not how a prince would enter.

Rather than interacting with the crowd he was hidden behind the curtain for safety. The only guards who escorted the carriage were the soldiers who were there already traveling in the procession and two extra who was given by the gatekeeper just to show minimum courtesy.

The road was cleared in a hassle just for the procession to pass. The people on the side did not get an announcement that the prince will arrive in the capital this morning.
