Bk3: Ch– 137 Judgmental(pt-1)

Earus quickly turned his horse at Eugene.

“Our battle ends today, but I will return to face you and that demon.” He pointed his fingers at Eugene first, then to Rosa.

That one is interesting. He laughed as he turned his horse and disappeared behind the forces. Eugene took a deep breath. He wanted to chase him, but the more intelligent decision was, after all, to let the battle move for another day. The troops must regroup, and he would rather not lose more soldiers. He has been moving day after day without any rest.

He grabbed one of the soldiers from the sides, “Sound the horns to retreat.”

It was getting dark. Soon, the flags were pulled up as the generals moved to their sides. The soldiers moved quickly as they sheathed their swords. Rould watched as Earus came back to their side. “You were nothing more than a fool there. What were you thinking?”

Earus scoffed. “Listen, kid, strategize however you want, but I will go how I want. You don’t command me there.”
