Silver opened the door to the bedroom as Darce carried her inside. Rosa was holding his neck as Darce put her on the bed. He kissed her forehead before moving around the partition to change. Silver helped to remove her robe before pulling the blanket over her body. She used a wet towel to clean her hands.
“Thank you, Silver,” Rosa murmured as her head leaned back on the pillow.
“I am glad you are safe, Your Highness.” She sniffed.
Silver was the one who cried the loudest. She could not look at Senal the whole time. Rosa noticed a missing knight guard around her. “Silver, you can not hide anything from me, remember?”
She inclined her head to look at those tear-filled eyes. Silver sniffed again and shook her head, trying to change the conversation.
“Alright, then tell me something. Did you like the dance with Senal?” Silver’s head flinched as she listened to the Queen.
“Your Highness, your safety is more important.” She kept her eyes down on the ground.
