I was floating.
Yes floating, that’s what I could call it. My heart was beating so fast I could feel the vibration as it drummed against my ribcage. The roller-coster reached the top and paused dramatically.
And suddenly lightning struck and more flashes before I heard a scream. My chest felt heavy and suddenly I couldn’t breathe. The roller-coaster went down. Others on board started screaming in excitement while I fought for the air to get back in my lungs and retrieve the normal rhythm I was having just a few seconds ago.
The ride came to a stop.
I was probably blue at this point.
Every one got off and I scrambled with the straps and tumbled out on shaking feet. Tears sprung in my eyes and I landed on my knees infront of the guy with the large lever that starts the ride.
Before he could investigate my state, A body dropped itself in front of me and cupped my face.
“Crystal?”
I looked up and met a familiar pair of greys.
“Crystal, come on breathe for me.”
