Dimples

Not immediately but Ji-Hoon started to pat Tae-Hoon's back gently and when Tae-Hoon was done with his apology letter, they pulled away from the hug and stood up. “I have one condition.” Ji-Hoon said.

“I will accept anything you are going to ask for.” Tae-Hoon said and Dong-Hoon placed his arm on his shoulder. “You will never ever in your life look at other girls and you will never hang out with foul people. We can afford such an incident only one time. If this thing ever repeated itself, many lives will be ruined.” Ji-Hoon’s words were harsh and bitter but he was right.

Tae-Hoon was nodding his head like a good child. “You forgave me right... for real, right?” Tae-Hoon asked not believing the reality yet.

Ji-Hoon nodded and pulled him into a bear hug and later Dong-Hoon joined them as well.

Siblings fight and say so many bad kinds of stuff to each other but mostly they don’t mean those. No matter how worse the fighting would be at the end of the day they will be making fun of outsiders and getting along well with each other.

It was the last day of the vacation and all of them would be leaving that place tomorrow early in the morning. Jung-Nan and Min-Hoon were on cloud nine as their children were back to their real selves again.

Yoo-Na went to Ji-Hoon’s room without knocking and he had just finished dressing up and was rubbing his hair with the towel. “Did I miss a show?” she said shaking her head as if some great opportunity just got missed by her hands.

“I think you should knock before coming in.” Ji-Hoon was getting so used to her that he would not get annoyed with her flirty behavior anymore. “I think you should lock the door before suggesting this to me.” she retorted sassily and shaking his head, Ji-Hoon asked, “By the way, why are you here?”

“Can’t I talk to my friend without any reason? besides it is the last day of the vacation. Don’t know how many days it will take for us to meet again.” she said making a sad face.

Ji-Hoon looked at her squinting his eyes. “I don’t think so, you will soon brag into my office without any reason or appointment." he shook his head. “I am not that shameless... or am I...” she came closer to him and surprisingly Ji-Hoon was not backing off so she placed both of her arms on his shoulders and intermingled her fingers behind his neck.

“You are...” he said scrunching his nose and she giggled and winked at him. “At least I am not calling you handsome now so be thankful or else...” she made a mischievous face.

“or else.” he raised his eyebrows. The staring competition was ongoing but the water which was previously dripping from his hair did his work and her foot slipped that resulted in both of them landing on the bed.

Ji-Hoon was on top of her and they were just blinking their eyes as they were not able to process the situation that what actually happened right now.

Before Ji-Hoon could move away, Jung-Nan barged into the room to scold Ji-Hoon because Tae-Hoon just told her that Ji-Hoon broke the zipper of her suitcase, the clumsy boy he was and she shrieked looking at the view in front of her.

Ji-Hoon and Yoo-Na were about to get up from the bed. Both of them were red and not making any type of eye contact but Jung-Nan stopped them. “Stop, I am sorry. My timing is bad. You guys should continue whatever was going on here.” she hurriedly said not taking a breath in between her words and ran away from there.

Ji-Hoon’s condition was absurd and laughable. He knew it that now he was doomed. He would need to give answers to thousands of her questions and explain to her what actually happened. “Mother-in-law is quite cool. I like it.” Yoo-Na said happily and Ji-Hoon widened his eyes and got up from the bed. He cleared his throat. “I think it is enough for today, and don’t call her mother-in-law.” his voice was highly strung with nervousness.

Yoo-Na laughed at his condition and nodded. “Yes, she is not... right now. But no one knows the future. Right, my friend?” she wriggled her eyebrows, teasing him for the nth time.

“Just go.” just like a few days ago, he kicked her out of the room but unlike last time she was quite happy and went to her room while singing.

“When I'm laying down in bed

I write you letters in my head

Of all the things I haven't said to you

I'll be your lover, I'll be your wife

I'm in the kitchen baking pies

I wanna have that kind of life with you

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you get home at night
I'll have the house just right
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I hope it won't scare you away

I wanna have your kids someday

They'd all have dimples on their face like you

And when you're old or bald or grey

I'm gonna love your wrinkly face

Nobody else could love you like I do"

She was singing it out loud so that her voice could reach Ji-Hoon. and it did, making Ji-Hoon crimson red that he covered his dimples with his hands.

Finally, it was time to go back home and the luggage was being loaded into the trunk and everyone was taking some last fresh air of the village. “Stop staring at him this much that he might get burnt with the fire in your eyes.” Yoo-Jin said to his sister.

“You shorty, shut up.” she smacked his butt.

“You dare touch my booty, I will not spare you.” he was running behind her and their parents were just shaking heads looking at their trouble makers.

Shim family and Park family said their goodbyes to each other while Yoo-Na was sulking in a corner because she could not do her goodbye flirt with her Mr. Handsome in front of everyone as she promised him.
