I reach for the envelope and open it carefully, not wanting to rip my test paper along with it. I see an A+ encircled on the top right corner of the copied black and white paper. No way!

I frown a little when I see that I have 129 out of 130. I knew that circle was 11.99 cm in diameter. I don't know where I got 12.00 cm from.

"We've thought of moving you to the level fours' class," she says and I smile at her. "You'll find a yellow paper in there," she points to the envelope and I take the paper out. "That's your new schedule. I just swapped your Language class with Maths. That way, all your other subjects remain as is. I apologize for any inconveniences caused with your transfer," she looks at me and I shake my head to let her know no inconveniences were caused.

"Alright then," she claps her hands, "I hope to see you someday, for a good reason, of course."

As if on cue, the bell rings and I thank her before leaving. On my way to my locker, I notice the guys and Cara standing by my locker. Then again they could be there for Cara since her locker is next to mine. Ryan is the first to acknowledge me when I come closer to them.

"Hey," Ryan says shortly.

"Hi," Cara doesn't even bother meeting my eyes.

"Sup," Miguel runs a hand through his hair.

"You in trouble?" Kian stands straighter and I roll my eyes at him.

"Not yet," I say as I put my envelope with my test scores in my locker, only taking out my new schedule to show them.

"Awesome!" Ryan beams as he looks at it. "Can't wait to share this class with you."

"Bring it in, girlie," Miguel opens his arms for me and I accept them. I wrap my hands around his back and he does the same. He rests his chin on my head and I rest my head on his shoulder. Kian looks at us before scowling, but I ignore that.

"Ryan," I look at him and he turns to me. "Weren't Lyha and Dylan supposed to come to school earlier this week?"

"Yeah, but," he looks at the floor, "Lyha texted me on Tuesday and said that their grandma fell sick and they had to board to Sweden immediately. I had to postpone my outfit for when they come back," he chuckles a little and I can't help grinning. He's sad, no doubt about that. I just nod my head and enjoy Miguel's arms still wrapped around me.

"I'll go to class," Kian says and before I can even look at him, he turns around and heads for the stairs. I believe Cara left as soon as I told them I'm now in their class.

"Something wrong with him?" I look at Miguel and he just sighs, not masking his amusement. Ryan just shakes his head and gently pulls me out of Miguel's soft embrace.

"So how do you feel?" he asks me as we walk up the stairs with Miguel by my other side.

"I don't know how I feel because I don't know why he seemed upset."

"No cutie, I'm not asking about that," Ryan rolls his eyes and smiles.

"Kian has issues, no use denying that," Miguel suddenly speaks, earning a hard punch on his shoulder from Ryan.

"I'm asking how you feel about having maths twice in a day," Ryan explains.

"Oh that," I giggle, "I'm fine with it." Ryan looks at me with raised eyebrows and Miguel holds the door open for us. I spot Kian sitting next to someone familiar. She starts giggling shamelessly and I cringe when she flips her hair over her shoulder and leans in to whisper something in Kian's ear.

"Come," Ryan takes my hand. I have no doubt he saw the shameless prick as well. "Let's sit here." He leads me to the third row from the back. I take the sit next to the wall, Ryan sits next to me and Miguel next to Ryan.

A brunette walks in casually and scans the classroom for what I'm guessing is an empty desk, before smiling victoriously and striding over to the available spot next to Miguel. The teacher walks in with a file in one hand and her laptop in another. How do they balance their stuff like that?

"Hey there, I'm Tiara," the brunette waves to me and I wave back.

"I'm Kira, nice meeting you."

"Same here. We should hang out some time," she looks at me briefly.

"Oh?" She wants to hang out with me?

"That's if you're up for it, though," she quickly masks her disappointment with a small smile.

"Sure, I'm so up for it. I'm punk!" I whisper-yell. She, along with Ryan and Miguel, chuckle at my outburst. I can't help but recoil at what I just said.

"You guys want to sit next to each other?" Miguel finally asks. I noticed how uncomfortable he was ever since Tiara walked in and sat beside him. Ryan gets up and switches seats with Tiara so that he's sitting where she sat and vice versa.

"He's not used to girl talk," she whispers and I crease my forehead. "Only child cons," she says before facing the front. The teacher is already busy handing out papers. The teacher comes around and gives Miguel and Tiara their tests back. They both got 126.

"Keep it up," I smile at her and she nods excitedly. Then Ryan receives his; 127. He fist bumps Miguel and Tiara shakes her head at the duo. I may be wrong, but her ears are starting to become bright just by the second. Then again, it could easily be because of the heat.

"Miguel doesn't look so," I start but pause because I don't want to sound mean.

"Smart?" Tiara nudges me and her eyes brighten up. "I know. He's one of those undercover intelligent students." I see Kian and that shameless prick getting theirs through my peripheral vision.

"And them?" I show with my gaze and Tiara instantly scowls.

"The girl's name is Paige," she informs me even know I already know her from back home. "She's also really good in all her subjects. Gets annoying sometimes," she huffs and I smile at that. The teacher comes around and smiles broadly before putting my paper I got from Ms Jell on the desk. I easily mirror her smile as she walks back to the front of the class. Tiara puts her arm around my shoulder and sniggers.

"Don't look now, but Paige literally looks like she is fuming, having high blood pressure and a mental breakdown all at once."

She deserves it, after all she's done to me. I can't believe she and I - It's not worth remembering it. I'm just proud of myself.
