(The honeymoon.)

Chapter thirty three

Cale slowly woke up. He felt the comfortable white sheet's under his skin. The brightness from the morning sun splashed into his eyes making Cale shut his eyes again.

Good morning, love. Rey told her husband.

Cale looked to his right and saw Rey's beautiful brown eyes gazing at him. Rey must've been watching Cale sleep.

Good morning, Cale mumbled and turned to her. Resting his head on his right arm.

The sun shined into their hotel room and filled the whole room with a goldfish color. Breakfast was already standing in front of their bed on a little table.

Rey cuddled into his arms and gave Cale a kiss on his cheek.

You mumble in your sleep, Rey said and cuddled more into Cale.

Yeah, my mom used to tell me that whenever I felt comfortable, Cale smiled and kissed Rey on the forehead. Rey greeted the compliment with a big grin on her face.

So what's the plan for today? Cale asked his wife.

I wanted to take to the beach. And maybe have a picnic? Rey looked at Cale waiting for his answer.

Sounds amazing. Let's take breakfast with us. Cale replied to his wife.

They got up and prepared the basket for their little trip. Packing the food which was on the table into a small picnic basket.

They had rented a little bungalow just a few steps away from the ocean for their honeymoon. It was very rare that the two of them could spend time together on their own. Rey had a few days off so they took the chance to go on their honeymoon.

The sand tickled between their toes but it was a feeling and they enjoyed it. The sound of small wave's breaking into the shore or the seagulls surfing in their own wave's of wind in the sky were also some sounds of their surroundings.

Cale you want to help me place the blanket here? Rey said and let go of his hand. Rey took his bag from his shoulder and grabbed the blanket from it.

They had placed the blanket a few feet away from the shore and sat down.

So what do we have in here? Rey said and opened up the basket. Uhh orange... Sandwiches... Rey put everything on the blanket. Strawberries and chocolate. Rey said.

After eating breakfast Rey stood up and walked away.

What are you doing? Cale shouted after Rey but she didn't answer.

Cale saw her walking barefoot by the shore. Hands in the pockets of her pants.

You look beautiful today, Cale admitted.

Only today? Rey joked.

No- you look beautiful everyday. You know what I mean. Cale laughed.

He then followed Rey back to the bungalow.

The two of them knew that they will be going serperate ways tomorrow. Time with Rey was very rare and precious. Her touch comforted him, made his nerves tingle full of excitement but it hurt, too. In way very weird kind of way. Cale couldn't hear the thought in his head that she would leave him... again.

Cale? What is it? Rey walked right to him and clutched her hands in his.

Please talk to me. Rey began to cry and tried to look into Cale's eyes.

Cale's head hang low. He shouldn't mention it. The first and so far only fight was about this topic. Cale didn't want to ruin the time that they had left together.

I am tired, Cale said and let go of Rey's hand's and slowly walked over to the bed letting his body fall on it.

No that's not what you are worried about. Rey stated and crossed her arms.

Please... Let's not fight about this. Let me explain why I am feeling like this. Cale turned around and laid on his back. Eyes darting at the ceiling.

Also when he looked at Rey he would start to cry.

Everytime you leave me... It's like I'm loosing my reason. For everything. As soon as you walk away I can feel the gray spreading into my world again. Everything begins to loose it's color. I love you so much. And I'm tired of letting you go again and again. I want to stay by your side. Not just see you every three months or so. Cale told his wife.

Cale heard Rey breathing slowly and walking over to him. Joining him on the bed.

I fell in love with you so quickly. My heart didn't have a single tiny chance. And when I look up and see you on the Death Star every time it's like a tiny little sword slowly pushes into my heart. I don't want you to leave me. Cale told his wife, as he began to cry.

Like breaking up? Rey asked him.

Because I am afraid of the pain in my heart. Cale replied to his wife.

During Cale's monologue Rey took his hands in her's. And caressed her thumbs in them.

Everytime I walk into the Death Star... Away from you... It break's my heart. I love you so much, Cale. And to be honest it scares me to death.

You are everything I need... Rey said as she started to cry.

I want you to join me. I want to see the world with you. And I'm going to take a break from the Death Star. I want to be with you Cale. Rey said taking her husband's hand's in her's.

Everyday? Cale asked his wife while smiling at her.

The fact that Rey wanted this too made Cale smile. His body was filled with joy.

Rey slowly climbed on top of him. Having other things in mind to with him, other than just sit there and argue all day.

I love you. Rey whispered and looked into Cale's brown eyes. Before kissing him deeply.

I love you, too. Cale replied back to his wife. Then he began to kiss Rey as well, putting both of his hands around her hair, before sliding one hand down to her waist.

Passion and love then overwhelmed them. As the kisses grew harder and deeper.
