Youden, ears ringing, wanted to see more. He shook his head in excitement. I don't even know what to say, but this is awesome.
"Before we continue, can we have the factories begin production on this creations?"
"Yes, sir. I'll let one of the researchers hand the plans to them immediately. But just so you're aware, we are going to need people to be able to have them working and repairing them during the invasion, so we need to start training those people as well."
"Yes, yes, let's make sure everything is set. Now, let's see some more action."
Lina showed him several creations and improvements, like the newly improved taboon, that could fire multiple projectiles at once instead of one shot and then reload. That would definitely help them in their conquest. She then showed him several other small creations, like a helmet that would protect the wearer much better than without it. But as the meeting went on, Youden was getting bored. While yes, it was important for all of these things to work properly and it would all help him in the end, he wanted to see that action from earlier.
"And our final creation that we have to show, is going to be in the air!" Lina gleamed with pride.
"So this is the machine going into the air, correct?"
She nodded and pointed at a figure covered in cloth. Once removed, the invention had two wings, one on the bottom and one on the top, and came with wheels. The strange figure had what appeared to be a tail on the back and a large fan in the front of it.
"Now, what we have here is our flying invention, but we call it an Ariocaster. We decided to make a powerful engine, that will allow for it to climb into the skies."
"And have you tested it yet?"
"Only once, and while it barely lifted off the ground, we made the engine much more powerful and we think it will do better than expected."
He watched as they began loading an object inside the creation. What could that now be, he thought. When they finished, he watched as the researchers began cranking up the fan as someone entered from above. After a few tries, the fan began to sputter, before beginning to spin rapidly. Youden continued to watch, as the Ariocaster began to pick up some speed. His eyes widened as once it was moving fast enough, it began lifting into the sky. He couldn't believe it after everything that was created. Saputa has no idea what's going to hit them.
"Now, you may have saw us load something into the craft, that was a bomb specifically designed for the Ariocaster to do maximum damage without making it lose any more speed. As time progresses, we think we can make better versions of the Ariocaster, the bombs, and any other creations along the way. Now, let's see the damage these bombs can do."
Youden watched as it flew over the field and over the sea only a mile away from where they were. This part of the island was flat, so he could see a boat with a few people on it, appeared to be tied up, struggling to escape.
"In order to show how effective the bomb is, we found some "disloyal" followers and they gladly accepted their sacrifice for the greater good of the world! But inside the bomb, we created a newer and more powerful powder that once you see will blow you away, literally, into pieces if you get caught." she told him.
Youden looked back, to see a small hatch open from underneath and watched the bomb drop. It took only a few seconds, before it landed in the water, missing the boat by a few feet. But then, out of nowhere, a large explosion occurred and shook the ground near them and splashing water high into the sky. He could see onlookers watching from the distance, many in shock, but a few with interest. Looking back at where the boat should have been, Youden couldn't even find it. In fact, it was like when the heavy tarr fired and completely destroyed the wall. The bomb obliterated the people and the boat and their remains essential wiped away from existence. The Ariocaster turned around, and safely landed back onto the field. Youden walked up to the machine and felt it's wood and metal, nice and smooth.
Looking back at Lina, he announced to them, "Well, what are we waiting for? After what I've seen, we have a war to win!"
A loud burst of pride and excitement occurred as people hurried to deliver the blueprints and other works to begin building their new weapons of destruction.
Saputa, I hope your ready, Youden pondered looking into the sky, because after what we've been doing, you won't be ready.
"I want at least 20 of each of these tarrs completed, 50 carrs finished, 100 of these Ariocasters ready to fly, and begin building transport ships to transport the carrs and tarrs for our invasion. We have six months and no time to slack! So let's get it done!"
And the Autocratic Kingdom of Liyoden began militarizing like the world had never seen before. And they wouldn't be ready for their might.
