Hops & Ula Holding Off Leon

"Wait!" Ula shouted, creating darkness around her hands.

Leon just stared at Hops, and swatted him to the side once he was close enough. Ula instantly created a foggy darkness around them, and slipped past Leon from behind. Before she could attack, Leon punched the ground, causing it to shake around them, and lifting the darkness above them. Finally seeing her, he charged ahead, as she barely had time to put up a shield to defend herself. He grabbed her through the shield, and shoved her across the ground, leaving a stream of blood, and flinging her across the space. She rolled across the ground, and stopped a few inches from the edge of the fighting space.

Hops had reemerged and began rapidly kicking him. Leon dodged effortlessly and jabbed his face. Hops pulled back in agony, and Leon threw him against another set of fighters, pushing them closer to the edge.

"You guys are not worthy of taking me on! I'm going to win again!" he roared, and began walking towards Hops again.

.....

Meanwhile, Ula crawled towards Jamal, who no one bothered to remove out the ring. She tapped him lightly, but he was going to be out for a bit.

"Come on. Wake up!" she cried out, tears coming out of her eyes.

But it didn't do anything. Looking around, she noticed a fighter cowering behind a rock, until he eyed her and began rushing towards her. Ula swiftly formed a spear out of darkness and threw it towards them. It penetrated the person's side, and they went down. She went back to Jamal, who was still out, but was beginning to move.

"Jamal, hurry and get up now!" she muttered.

.....

Hops was still on his feet, running around the space, barely dodging Leon's attacks.

"You scared? I thought you said I would lose!" he laughed.

Hops turned around, and began kicking chunks of a rock in front of him. Leon deflected them, continuing to press ahead. Hops rushed around, and tried to sweep him off his feet. Leon jumped up, before landing back on them, causing Hops to screech in pain. The crowd booed with disappoint, as Leon slammed Hops into the wall, taking him out the round. Medics quickly ran to get him, and carried Hops on out the stadium. Leon glared at them, before walking towards another set of fighters, prepared to win the entire round with ease and like always.

.....

Jamal was walking around a white space filled with nothing, already tried banging on a door with no handle, the only object one could see.

"Come on, let me out!" he cried out.

The door refused to budge, and he continued moving in frustration. I need to get back into the fight, he knew, why can't I move! He tried firing at the door, but nothing came out of his hands. He sighed and banged on it some more, even though it still didn't do anything. Giving up, he sat down on nothing and waited. I need to think about the steps that it took to get here, he contemplated. He was fighting Leon, and was losing badly. Then, Leon increased his strength by two, and then he flung me out the ring. But that wouldn't explain that other sharp pierce of pain? Who did that and why?

Getting up again, he tried pushing the door, but nothing budged. I need to wake up, he figured out. He tried pinching himself, and it done nothing. He tried hitting his head on the empty area, and it didn't do anything. Pain won't wake me up, but what else will?

.....

Ula continued to shake him. He was slowly grasping the ground with his hands, but he still wasn't awake. There has to be something, anything. She looked around, and glanced above the rock, to see Leon flinging opponents out the fighting space. She could barely make out Hops being carted away. Hops was suppose to be their last hope if Jamal went down, and he's already out. She crouched back down, her face feeling sticky from the blood. She had to think quickly. If Jamal didn't wake up, they would lose, again. What triggers him, she said, as she continued to stare at him. Then it clicked. Every time he was stronger, was based off of his emotions. Quickly coming up with an idea, she bent down to his face.

"I hope this gets you back up." she whispered and kissed him.

.....

Jamal continued to pace around, coming up with a plan. The only thing I can think of are my emotions. But what good would that do? What was he going to do, love his way out of here, and be thankful for being trapped in his own mind? Yeah, no thanks.

Then he heard a small creak. Looking behind him, he saw the door. Did it just budge slightly? He rushed up to it, and tried to push it. It was hard, but he was slowly making progress. But how? Deep inside, he used all of his strength and emotions to push it open. For every thing I've done, what it took to get here. Boom, those bullies at school, Fonda and Brat, and even Hops. And especially Ula. This is for them all. I must push on and I will not hold back!

.....

Ula backed away, and he still didn't budge. She gloomed, and sighed. It was all for nothing. She heard a small hiss and looked back. Was her vision getting bad from the attack, or was that smoke? She crawled back, as it slowly was getting thicker, and flames were beginning to appear. She smiled at it. It might have worked! Jamal was breathing more deeper and he slowly began to tremble attempting to get back up. She slowly moved towards him, until a plume of fire went into the sky, stopping her in her tracks. In an instant, it died down, and Jamal steadied himself back up, but his entire body was on fire, even his eyes a different shade of orange.

"Are you okay?" he asked her, his voice slightly deeper than usual.

She nodded and pointed at Leon, still taking out the few fighters left in the ring.

"Stay back." he told her, and hopped over the rock.

.....

Leon was about to finish another fighter, begging him for mercy, when he felt a sharp sting on his back. Turning around, he saw a man on fire standing, multiple balls of fire floating above his hands. The crowd rallied when they saw him, and were on their feet for the action to come.

"So, seems like your still in this match. Let me fix that." Leon gleamed.

In an instant, Leon was behind him, before quickly being flung into the few boulders still standing around. The crowd was roaring and into this, there was no doubt. Jamal turned around, standing still, watching Leon get back up.

"Okay, let's go then." he said, while rushing him.

He attempted to punch him from afar, in order to push him out the ring, but Jamal flung his hands up, creating a temporary wall of fire, one that he had wrote down earlier would work only if he was in a form. He punched Leon around, faster than he could react before pummeling into the ground, creating deeper cracks than even Leon had made before. Leon grimaced in pain, as he was kicked across the space.

Jamal continued to walk to him, but stopped when he stood back up.

"No one has ever forced me above this power in a long time. I'm glad you'll have an audience for this, Jamal. You've done this to yourself! Times five!" he yelled.

In an moment's notice, a large wind was felt around the stadium, pushing the flames off of Jamal, who didn't move, but his eyes still glowing. He eyed Ula, who was still crouched behind the rocks, as well as the few others waiting around the other rocks still spread out.

When it died down and his flames returning back to his body, Jamal noticed a darker red aura around Leon, and his eye colored a light tint of it too.

"You're going to get the beating of your lifetime!" he cried out, and he charged him even faster.
