Simon was now in his room. He was in a happy mood. Why? You ask.

It's because Cale accepted the deal and he didn't have to die from embarrassment after saying those stuff.

Anyways, Simon was making his plans. He decided to be extra cautious for Cale's safety.

No, he was again not being a simp.

He did not want to take risk of Cale dying. That of course would only happen till Cale got 'Vitality of Heart'.

After that, Simon was free of worries. He would focus on mastering his powers and control over his puppets. Then, he would troll the villains.

Simon started his imagination as he grinned.

...

On the other side, things had gone properly for Cale. He brought Choi Han home and had him confront Ron and Beacrox.

The process was all fine so Cale returned to his room and began reviewing the chaotic day. He fell asleep after a few minutes.

...

A few minutes earlier, A handsome man could be seen standing in front of a middle-aged man. The handsome man was Deputy butler, Hans. He was in charge of Cale.

The man before Hans was Deruth. Deruth Henituse, Cale's father and the Count of Henituse territory. Hans was reporting what Cale did today.

Deruth slightly frowned as he reviewed what Hans said.

"So, He went to the shop of the Bastard Son of the Flynns. Then he was seen with another son of a merchant. After that, he went into the slums with some bread. Finally, he came back with an unidentified young man."

"Yes, Master" Hans replied.

Deruth frowned even more as he thought. He then ordered Hans to investigate the bastard son of the Flynns and Simon.

Hans then left the room to fulfill his order. Deruth was thinking that he needed to fortify the city walls.

...

The next day, Hans reported about the massacre of the Harris village. The stunned Deruth quickly sent people to give the dead a proper funeral and to investigate. Deruth also paid respects to the dead.

He then called Cale and ordered him to go to the meeting of The crown prince. Cale asked some questions but agreed after a while.

After that Deruth returned to his duties as the Lord of the territory.

...

Simon was in his room with locked doors. He had been practicing the control of his puppets. It looked like he needed to give them proper detailed instruction and they could control it.

Unlike a usual puppet, His puppets could do a task without needing continuous control. He could order one to run so it would keep running. That was useful.

After practicing a bit more, He then again went to Billos's shop. He became a fan of that place. It had many good books to read.

Today, He could also finish one of the books. Simon walked into the shop, did the generic thing, and went to the second floor. He really liked being there.

He started reading the book while occasionally sipping the tea. He had reached the final parts.

The villain was now telling the hero his backstory. It was pretty cliche. I mean what could you expect from a book of the middle ages.

Simon wanted to tell the villain something.

'Nobody gives a sh*t.'

As he was giving his thoughts on the book, Cale also came to the shop. The shop became quieter as Cale was going to the second floor.

Simon had noticed the quietness so he turned around to see Cale coming towards him.

Cale sat on the seat like it was his home and told Simon.

" I need to go to the capital. You said you would follow me right?"

Simon looked at him and said.

"What is the date you will leave?"

"Fifth of April"

After hearing that Simon got up and said.

" You should bring a good cook. Or we will have to suffer on the way"

Simon walked away leaving a frowning Cale. Cale's eyes were twitching. He grumbled to himself

"I would bring Beacrox even if you did not say it. "

But Cale shivered after thinking about the Beacrox torturing people.

...

Simon was now walking to his home. He was thinking about what to do until they left for the capital.

Not just that he also had other concerns.

'Hmm, What to do?'

Simon had made up his mind. He could practice and experiment with his powers but, The man deserved a break.

He had been freaking Isekai'd into a novel. Then he worked, he started working most of the time he spent.

Why did Simon like to go to read books in Billos's shop? It was simple.

Reading books was the one thing he could do here that was the most similar to his previous life. Simon was not a battle expert and also not a machine.

He had powers to help him but still, it was hard. Simon never mentioned it but his fingers hurt like hell. It's more of a passive pain.

Whenever he moves his fingers fast, his hand hurts. That really hurt. When he was first cut, he ignored it.

In that moment of adrenaline, he ignored the pain but now it hurt.

He wanted to relax but first needed to heal himself up. He reached home. Took a pen and wrote 'cuts be healed' on his hand.

In novels Simon read in his entire life, powers were all based on the user's imagination.

But, his power was based on words. This power was literally challenging Simon's wording skill.

Fortunately, Simon was good at English. Heck, he could get an 'A' easily without even studying.

How? He had read many novels... That should be self-explanatory.

Moving on, Simon's hand healed at a fast pace. I mean very fast pace. The pain was also decreasing. The cuts became less visible leaving behind small and light scars.

Suddenly he felt very dizzy, he was getting a headache. But it was bearable. Simon had a thought as he started writing on his own body.

He was filled with excitement(ignoring the headache) as the first thing he wrote was 'Resistant to getting drunk'...It was a decision he would later come to regret. Regret very very much.
